Not long after, Rocky had the urge to go to the right side of the periphery of the Demon SealingPalace. The place was surrounded by towering stone walls, making it very secluded and hard to replace.He was greeted with the sight of many martial spirits floating aimlessly inside. He stopped in histracks and sensed that they were all at least at the Shura Realm.

He hesitated to enter, even though his guts were telling him to do so. After observing the floatingmartial spirits, he found out that they were unable to leave the vicinity.

'I didn't expect that there would be so many martial spirits wandering around here. They must'vebeen the spirits of the ancestors of the Shura Race, ' Rocky thought to himself with a slight frown.Rocky was cautious not to disturb them. He took his time to observe the surroundings. Since themartial spirits were strong, someone powerful must have cast the barrier to prevent them fromescaping. Otherwise, it would be impossible that the barrier cast by ordinary warriors would hold somany martial spirits imprisoned here

While Rocky was lost in thought, he was pulled back to reality when he saw a female martial spiritwith a slender body slowly float out of the crowd. Even though she was not real, Rocky couldn't helpbut be charmed. What made her even more intriguing was the fact that she still had some vitalityleft in her.

Most importantly, the aura Rocky sensed from her was exactly what he had sensed a few momentsago.

"Were you the one who summoned me?" he asked immediately.

The female martial spirit seemed to be unable to speak, but she knelt down on one knee like aservant and lowered her head to Rocky.

Rocky hesitated for a moment, but soon he understood that this female martial spirit must havesensed the holy power of the Shura Race's king in him. This meant that this female warrior spiritmust have an inseparable relationship with the clan king!

After getting up, she gestured to Rocky that he should hold a weapon in his hand. Then, shepointed to a stone statue on the side of the area, as if to imply something to him.

still not understanding what she meant, Rocky walked towards the statue she pointed at.

When he got close to it, he was surprised to see that it was a beast statue, both lifelike andbrimming with life.

He saw the statue's eyes blink at him as it emanated a very strong divine power.

"This must be the energy source of the barrier which has kept all the martial spirits imprisoned! Isshe telling me to destroy it? But what would happen if I do this? She seems to have something totell me!" Rocky's mind raced.

If the woman really had some sort of relationship with the king, then she should be able to tell thesituation inside the Demon Sealing Palace. In order to succeed in this mission, he knew he neededall the help he could get.

"Whatever! I need to give it a try!" After putting much thought into it, Rocky knew he had no otherchoice. If he released all of the imprisoned martial spirits, they would only affect the Ghostly DemonLand and not him. Plus, they might even slow down Zain's and Enoch’s team from approaching theDemon Sealing Palace.

Without hesitation, he summoned the God-killing Sword and wielded it, and the statue wasimmediately overwhelmed by its radiance.

Bang!

The beast statue exploded into fine dust as a huge, dragon-shaped soul shadow shot out from itand soared high into the clouds, shaking both heaven and earth before disappearing without atrace.

"That's the soul of a legendary beast! I didn't expect that it could be used to imprison all thesemartial spirits..." Rocky exclaimed.

At the same time, the trapped martial spirits instantly rushed out of the area, itching to get a tasteof their newfound freedom. All of them scattered into the wind in only a blink of an eye.

The female martial spirit went beside Rocky who was still amazed. Meanwhile, her body graduallyturned real.

"Master, I'm Anya and I'm so honored to see you here." She walked up to Rocky and boweddevoutly again.

"Please stop that. I'm not who you think I am!" Rocky immediately waved his hand.

"But you possess King Corey's holy power... You must have inherited his power. Moreover, you havehis God-killing Sword in your hands... Is he already dead...?" Anya asked in disbelief. Then, sheimmediately realized something as her face darkened

"What's your relationship with King Corey?" Rocky asked as he raised one of his eyebrows at thewoman.

"It's a complicated story,” Anya replied with a sense of sadness lingering in her tone.

"We can talk about it later. You're not dead, are you? Why were you sealed here along with themartial spirits?" Rocky asked with curiosity burning in his eyes.

"Again, it's a long story. How about you? What brought you here, master? The Shura Race forbidsanyone from entering the Demon Sealing Palace unless it's permitted by the king himself,” Anyasighed and asked immediately.

Rocky then told her his story.

"That's outrageous! How could the current king be this foolish? He actually plans to select hissuccessor by choosing the one who would obtain Phillip’s power! This is simply too absurd! Did hethink it would be that easy to get a hold of Philip's power?!" Anya flared up in anger when sheheard this.

"It's futile to argue this to anyone since the king had already announced it. We should focus on thefact that Prince Enoch has already joined hands with the demonic race of the Holy-Evil World toobtain Philip's soul power. I was ordered by Mikayla, who's also from the Holy-Evil World, to stopthem,"

Rocky answered honestly.

"Mikayla was the one who asked you? It seems that everything really is destined to happen. I'vebeen wandering around aimlessly for thousands of years. Even though my life is dwindling, I'll helpyou with your mission!" Everything was starting to make sense for Anya. Back then, she and KingCorey, who was also the wielder of the God-killing Sword were sent here by Mikayla to stop acatastrophe from happening. Along the way, she sacrificed herself and was imprisoned along withthe martial spirits of her companions.

"You're running out of life?" Rocky was stunned to hear that.

"Yes. I've been imprisoned here for too long. My body's already dying as we speak. As soon as I die,I'll turn into a real martial spirit. But before that could happen, I'll help you protect the DemonSealing Palace," Anya answered with a determined fire burning in her eyes.

"Okay! I've just observed the surroundings of the Demon Sealing Palace. The enchanted barrieraround it should still be intact. Do you know if the demonic race could break into the barrier undernormal circumstances?” Rocky didn't beat around the bush and asked her immediately. He knewwell enough that their time together was limited.
