Rebirth of the Prime Dragon Master
Chapter 191 All Were Treasures

It was apparent that there were a lot of rich people who were interested in collecting rare thingsfrom the wild spirit-manipulated beasts with their fortune. In addition, there were some spiritmanipulators who were aiming at some materials of good quality so that they could use them toforge their weapons. The power of these spirit manipulators was just between the Mortal Stage andthe Earthly Stage. Only two or three of those spirit manipulators were able to reach the first grade ofthe Earthly Stage.

In the Evian City, spirit manipulators that were beyond the Earthly Stage were unusual. At theGehenna Border, either in the military camps or as leaders of hired spirit manipulators like the manthat Rocky met before, they were regarded as overmatches. Therefore, in normal conditions, it wasrare for spirit manipulators at the Earthly Stage to come and go freely in the city.

At that moment, Rocky noticed that there were several female spirit manipulators at a corner nearhim. What piqued his interest were how they were all dressed as maids. Even though they restrainedtheir auras, with his power at the second grade of the Earthly Stage, it was easy for Rocky to sensetheir true power. Furthermore, all of them were apparently between the sixth and the ninth grade ofthe Mortal Stage. In other words, their power when combined was almost equivalent to that of astrong team.

The female spirit manipulators just stood calmly at the corner like expressionless statues. Their calmcomposure stood out from the chaos of the crowd. It was apparent that they had gone throughrigorous training. There was a woman who was sitting peacefully among the group. She waswearing a dress made out of pink tissues and it made her look beautiful and elegant. She waswearing a veil over her face but it could not hide her flawless and delicate features. Rocky barelysaw the outline of her gentle eyes and long dark hair. Anyone who gazed upon her becametempted to see the true beauty that was hidden by her veil.

What attracted Rocky more was the unfathomable aura that was exuding from her. He couldn'tevaluate her power at all. Rocky was convinced that she was not as weak as she would like people toassume. There must be some kind of reason for her to conceal her power on purpose.

'I guess those female spirit manipulators are guarding the veiled woman. Who is she? Why does shehave that many powerful spirit manipulators around her? Why is she hiding her true power? Shemust be someone remarkable, ' Rocky speculated while looking at the woman intensely.

The people started noticing the woman and her bodyguards. They became curious of her identity. Moreover, the men found it difficult to look away from the group because all of her bodyguardswere also very good-looking.

If they knew that the woman that they were ogling was the Deputy Commander in Chief of theCrimson Dragon Group, they would surely not dare stare at her in such a disgusting manner.

The woman that was wearing the veil was none other than Isis, the cousin of Marin. No one wouldhave guessed that the Deputy Commander in Chief of the Crimson Dragon Group would appear atthe auction, so they just assumed that the veiled lady must be from a wealthy and influential family. The reason why Isis was there was very simple. Because of her current status, she was not allowed togo shopping like other adolescent girls. Moreover, she was so busy with official business andmilitary affairs that she hardly had time to buy things on her own. Therefore, after dealing with all ofher tasks, she decided to go to the auction house to buy some rare items and advanced materialsthat she could use at her leisure. After all, Isis was just another young girl who liked to shop prettythings.

After a few minutes, a new round of auction started and new auction items were displayed. On thethree-feet-high stage, there were several scantily clad women who enchantingly walked across thestage. Each of them were holding a plate on their hands and on those plates, different kinds ofitems and rare things of the wild spirit-manipulated beasts were displayed for the audience to see. However, they were all worthless because all of the items were only from one-star spirit-manipulated beasts.

"How could they auction such rubbish? This branch store of the Super Beast Farm is toodisappointing, * Rocky mumbled quietly at the sight of the auction items. None of them could rivalthe ones in his basket. He despised each one of the items on the stage.

However, it made sense that they would auction such items since the spirit manipulators at theGehenna Border did not live on hunting wild spirit-manipulated beasts. For them, wild spirit-manipulated beasts were too powerful and dangerous to hunt. Also, wild spirit-manipulated beastsgathered in crowds and it made them much more difficult to hunt. If a spirit manipulator was notpowerful enough, the beasts would kill and eat him easily. That was why spirit manipulators in thecity always avoided hunting wild spirit-manipulated beasts in order to protect themselves.

It explained clearly why the materials and the rare things from one-star spirit-manipulated beastswere so hard to get here. As for things from two-star spirit-manipulated beasts, they were very few.Powerful spirit manipulators did not want to kill such weak spirit-manipulated beasts. On the otherhand, weak spirit manipulators were powerless against them.

The people reluctantly averted their eyes from Isis and her female bodyguards to focus on theauction items on display. Their eyes were lighting up while they indulged in admiring the auctionitems as if they were remarkable treasures.

Gradually, the auction started and the heated bidding for each item began.

Rocky, smiling to himself, showed no interest in joining them. His eyes surveyed the room and henoticed that a middle-aged man, who seemed to be the boss of the auction house, was conductingsomething at the side of the stage like a director. Rocky walked over to him.

"Excuse me, are you the boss here?" Rocky asked him curiously.

The middle-aged man turned to him and inspected Rocky. After a few seconds, he suddenly glaredat Rocky and cursed in heart the clerk who had allowed such a country bumpkin to enter thepremises. He could not help but get angry at having a person in rag-like clothing and a basket onhis back inside his precious auction house. Rocky decided to ask him again if he was the boss of theauction house and to that he replied impatiently, "Yes, I am. What's that to do with you?"

"I want to sell some things here, so I'd like to discuss it with you in private,” Rocky said calmly, revealing no anger at the boss’ disdainful tone. As a seller, instead of drawing attention to him, hepreferred to stay low key.

"If you want to sell some things, then you better go downstairs. What we sell here are treasures andnot cheap garbage, do you understand? We sell precious things like those on the stage..." the bosssaid proudly while staring at Rocky in disgust.

"You call those treasures? In my eyes, they are nothing but rubbish,” Rocky said contemptuously. Hewas starting to feel a little annoyed at the boss’ rudeness.

When he heard Rocky's words, the boss looked at him like he was crazy. He became convinced thatRocky was an abnormal, so he decided to just wave him away and urge him to leave. After lookingat Rocky one last time, he gestured to the women on the stage.

When one of the women noticed his gesture, she walked to the front of the stage and displayed theauction item on her plate. "This is the softest crocodile hide that comes from the belly of a one-starSwamp Crocodile. Neither water, fire, nor any weapon could do damage to it. We start the biddingat fifty golden coins.”

"One hundred golden coins.”

"One hundred and fifty golden coins.”

There were a lot of people who bid up the hide of the one-star Swamp Crocodile. Finally, to Rocky'ssurprise, the ordinary hide was sold for three hundred golden coins.

The woman stepped down from the stage and gave the hide of the one-star Swamp Crocodile tothe highest bidder in person. After paying for it, the businessman grinned cheekily and then seizedthe opportunity to grab the woman's backside.

The woman cried cutely at having her backside grabbed and surprisingly appeared as if she enjoyedthe attention. She then handed the three hundred golden coins to the boss immediately. Thegolden coin circulated through the Wild Spirit Land.

"Ha-ha. I bought that for only one hundred golden coins. I earn two hundred golden coins becauseof that,” the boss said in excitement. When Rocky heard that, he realized that the boss was fairlypleased with his profits.

"I never thought that the hide of a one-star Swamp Crocodile could be so valuable. That wouldmake the hides of two-star Swamp Crocodiles inside my basket, more or less, a several hundredgolden coins worth,” Rocky murmured to himself while still standing next to the boss. He finally feltthat he came to the right place.
