Rebirth of the Prime Dragon Master
Chapter 230 Shatter The Enemies Into Pieces (Part Two)

If Rocky's analysis of the situation was correct and if the remaining two troops of the Black Armycontinued to go down as the others had, then the Black Army would undoubtedly lose. With hislone troop remaining, he was going to end up surrounded by the White Army's troops. And nomatter how healthy and well-rested they were, they won't be able to withstand the numbers. Afterall, even a fierce tiger would replace itself hard-pressed to defend against a circling pack of wolves. Butof course, now that Rocky knew where the wind lay, he could take steps to prevent it fromhappening.

'lt seems that we actually have to take action now. We must replace a way to salvage the situation, *Rocky thought to himself. As he thought this, his face was stony and grim. He couldn't help puttingon a stern expression. Confident in his choice of action, he summoned his troop.

As the troop had rested for a full two hours, everyone was still eager and high-spirited. They werehungry for battle, ready to shatter their enemies into pieces.

"Brothers, now is the time for you to show your full strength. We're going to war, and we are goingto teach the White Army a lesson it won't forget. Do you know what I've heard? I received word ofthe White Army saying that they will completely defeat the soldiers of the Black Army. And theyhave plans to humiliate us by having us tear off our pants in surrender. They're despicablyarrogant!” Rocky's words echoed over his troops. They were purposeful; he aimed to drive a ragingstrength to his men. He could not allow his troops to appear weak, or they would not be able topush forward as ferociously as possible in the coming battles.

And his words had their full effect: his soldiers became infuriated. Livid at the alleged bold-facedremarks made by the White Army, the soldiers of Rocky's troop were eager to show them truedefeat.

"If the White Army despises us so much, then we had better teach them a lesson that will reallymake them mad!"

"We're going to beat them so hard that their mothers won't even recognize them!"

"Ha-ha, I guess those guys haven't realized how pathetic they are. How dare they think we'll tear ourpants off for them to surrender?! These bastards are really tired of living, aren't they?"

Seeing that the morale among the soldiers was at its peak, Rocky nodded with satisfaction. Whenmarching and in combat, the morale of soldiers was the most essential factor. A thousand listlesssoldiers would never beat five hundred spirited ones, with morale and energy high. There werenumerous precedents of a small, dedicated troop defeating what seemed like an insurmountablenumber of enemies. Morale and passion was the key to military victory, and it was part of truegamesmanship and tradecraft. If a troop's soldiers were brave and bold with no fear of death, theycould resist any violent attack to the end.

Now that he could see that his soldiers were full of passion and vigor, Rocky knew that it was thebest time to launch an attack against the White Army. He began to arrange and mobilize his troop.First, he set three hundred soldiers out to lie in ambush on a nearby slope. Then, he scatteredanother two hundred soldiers to secret places in the woods and asked them to hide their tracks.Afterwards, Rocky turned away and began to prepare his battle plan.

All the way at the White Army's camp, their six troops were also in high spirits. The ranks of soldierswere spread out through the whole training ground where they began to eagerly search for thetraces of the Black Army's three remaining troops, including Rocky's. Bolstered by their success anddetermined to defeat their enemies, they were ready to capture all the remaining Black Army troopsin a single swoop.

But one thing remained on their minds. According to the rules of the contest, the troop of the armythat received the most military flags would be rewarded with a primary Dark Heaven Egg. Soalthough the White Army's troops were united at the moment, each one secretly hoped that theirown troop would be the one to replace the Black Army's three troops first and seize their military flags. This way, they were more likely to win when it came to the final calculation of who had more flags. As it stood, three White Army troops had already obtained one more military flag each, while theother three had none. Those who had the captured flags wanted more, so as to have a betterchance of winning the primary Dark Heaven Egg. And the troops that had not yet captured a singlemilitary flag also wanted at least one, so as not to lose face when the contest finally ended and theflags were counted. In a way, the number of captured flags displayed the troop's strength.

The White Army troop led by Flank had two military flags. As long as his troop could capture onemore flag, Flank knew that they would be able to stand above the rest of the White Army's troops.“That's odd. I haven't seen Rocky's troop since the contest began. Is it possible that he is so afraid ofme that he has hidden himself like a yellow-bellied coward?" Flank wondered, somewhat amazed atthe audacity. He had hoped to take the opportunity to teach Rocky a lesson. However, he had yet toeven glimpse Rocky's troop, let alone replace a chance to severely punish him.

While Flank was still wondering where Rocky had gone, a figure suddenly materialized in front of histroop, appearing as suddenly and quietly as a gust of wind.

"You?!" Flank was aghast and speechless in shock at the sight of the figure in front of him. Heglowered at it, eyes blazing in sheer malice.

Speak of the devil: it was Rocky himself, the same man that had haunted Flank's mind just now, appearing as though he was a devil summoned.
