He didn't imply to be persuaded by Lance.

"You..." Lance glowered at Rocky, smiting the table and rising to his feet. His trace of the DivineStage was released at once. A drone of sound was heard in the Conference Hall like thousands ofbee were flying. The Conference Hall seemed to collapse. This was an appalling thing, and everyone in the Hall bowed and left, except Rocky.Only Rocky and Lance were in the Hall now. Lance's face turned calm as the smoothest waters andasked Rocky in puzzlement, "Boy, what are you doing?"

"Commander in Chief, please don't be in high dudgeon. I have to act like this, just in case,” Rockysaid seriously, and his big-headedness had gone away.

"Just in case?" Lance said with a puzzled expression on his face.

"Don't you perceive something out of the common, Commander in Chief?" Rocky grinned from earto ear, and an elusive light grew in his eyes.
