"Rocky, where are we headed?" Only after the army left the main camp did Marin reminisce aboutthe most essential thing. She kicked her horse and trotted briskly towards Rocky, who was nowleaning languidly back against Rubygon with his legs crossed.

"Commander Marin, I am an Elite Commander now. You should address me as Commander Rocky. Isthat okay?" Rocky straightened up and peered at Marin playfully.

"I will address you whatever I choose. You got an issue with it?" Her lips contorted in wilful grin. Shewould, under no circumstance, call him Commander Rocky.

"Fine, whatever." Rocky shrugged and answered her query, "We are headed to the Hippo Land.""Hippo Land? What are you contemplating, Rocky? We have three choices here and you singled outthe most complex one? Do you perceive we've already lost one Elite Commander and two FrontlineCommanders in the battles of recapturing it?" Marin looked sullen. It offered her the impressionthat Rocky wasn't taking this seriously.

Sabina rode beside them and discovered it all. She was no less caught on the hop about Rocky'sdecision.

"Hippo Land is the nearest place. I see no reason why we shouldn't single it out. I've made mydecision and that's final.” With that, Rocky leaned back again even more sluggishly.

Marin's face hardened, wishing that she could just beat the living daylights out of him. No matterwhat her thought was, she had to obey Rocky's orders. So she could only command the army tomarch towards the Hippo Land.

Hippo Land took its name from its shape, which was like a hippo drinking beside the Arno River. Itsundulating terrain was full of precipices and steep slopes. And its dense jungles would only bringmore desperate straits to the marching. Therefore whoever held this place was given a strong trumpcard.

Hippo Land was of the essence because it was located in the middle part of the river and connectedthe east and the west of the Arno River. It also had a dock there, which was convenient for thetransport. The Crimson Dragon Army had used it to ship its supplies and soldiers before. So theHippo Land was kind of the dispatching center of the seven key strategic strongholds.

The Timber Deity Empire became aware of the relevance of the Hippo Land at once. They sacrificed3000 soldiers to occupy it. Then the Crimson Dragon Army's water transport was cut off. It was likecutting off the Crimson Dragon Army's nerve system from its body. In an instance, several keystrategic strongholds were out of commission.

After the Crimson Dragon Army lost the Hippo Land, they had tried three times to besiege it, but alltheir efforts turned hollow and failed at great cost.

Oddly enough, the Timber Deity Empire had only nearly 7000 men garrisoned in the Hippo Land. But three times, the 7000 men had thrown back over 10000 men of the Crimson Dragon Army. Italmost seemed impossible to secure it. And no matter how hard the Crimson Dragon Army tried, the Timber Deity Empire hadn't sent a single man to support it during the entire time, as if they hadthe victories sewn up.

Two days later, Rocky and the army set their foot at a small slope one mile away from the HippoLand, from which they could easily have a view of the whole Hippo Land, the camp of the TimberDeity Empire's army, the hazy air with the smoke of cook fires and the figures wending their wayamong the tents.

"We will camp here!" Rocky turned to Marin and gave his command.

"Here? The enemy will instantly know we are here. And they can keep track of our every movement."Marin face altered as she heard Rocky's absurd command that they were going to camp at such aprominent position.

"Do you have the slightest notion about commanding an army?" Sabina asked coldly. Rockyrevealed a lack of common sense that beggared belief.

"I never said I know how to command an army. But this is an excellent place to camp at. Have awhiff of the crisp autumn air and check out the magnificent sight," Rocky said quite proudly. Makingup his mind, he commanded, "Just do as I said.”

That earned him a glare from Marin. But nonetheless, she turned her horse around and notified thesoldiers to camp here.

Within no time, they commenced to pitch their tents, build some fortifications, and have sentriesdeployed around.

Before night they already settled comfortably on the small slope, which was an extremelyconspicuous sight to their enemy.

Commander Wei, the leader of the army that was garrisoned at the Hippo Land, got the newsimmediately that the Crimson Dragon Army had sent men to attack them again. Commander Weiwas a very experienced leader. But he took no credit for the three triumphs. It was Mr. Mu's, hisadviser's work.

Commander Wei didn't know very thoroughly about Mr. Mu's origins. Mr. Mu was assigned here bythe high command only about a half month ago. He hadn't drawn too much attention to himselfuntil they conquered the Hippo Land and received the command to garrison it.

After that, the Crimson Dragon Army launched three charges on them. They were outnumbered inthe first one, and the situation deteriorated at lightning speed. That was when Mr. Mu put forward aplan and helped them through the crisis. Since Mr. Mu was a strategy master, Commander Weidecided to promote him at once. Under the Mr. Mu's help, they easily defeated the Crimson DragonArmy in the following two battles.

So when Commander Wei heard that the Crimson Dragon Army was trying to attack here again, hesummoned Mr. Mu immediately.

"What can I do for you, Commander Wei?" a tall, lean man asked as he entered the Commander'stent. He looked a little bookish and sickly, but overall he was handsome.

"Mr. Mu, the Crimson Dragon Army sends another army here. We are pinning our faith on you."Now Commander Wei thought very highly of him and his viewpoint.

"Okay, I got it." Mr. Mu nodded calmly.

"What do you have in mind?" Commander Wei asked quickly.

"Commander Wei, I suggest we deploy our forces according to this map." He took out a map andhanded it to Commander Wei. His expression was humble enough but there was not too muchdeference in his attitude to Commander Wei. He had a different bearing from the others.

"Thank you, Mr. Mu." Commander Wei was filled with gratitude and accepted the sketch withouthesitation. This handsome man had helped him achieve three triumphs at the Hippo Land. He couldhave lost it to the Crimson Dragon Army in the first battle, if it hadn't been for this man.

Mr. Mu nodded to him and left. After he got out of the tent, he lifted his head and saw the camp ofthe Crimson Dragon Army lying ostentatiously on the opposite slope. Frowning, he remembered theprevious three attacks. Unlike this time, the Crimson Dragon Army had always closed in on themstealthily, camped at some more secret places and bided their time for the best moment to make amove. But now, they just camped at the most noticeable place as if they were in a blue funk that theTimber Deity Empire army would overlook their arrival.

Something was wrong. Exposing oneself completely to its enemy was a big no-no in the warfare."That is weird,” Mr. Mu murmured to himself before he left.
