Chapter 443 Falling In Love

"It's great you came at the right time, Commander Ji. Rocky is stuck in the array of our enemy. Let'slead the troops to rescue him right away.” Marin looked at Sabina who was on Duchess Silver's backanxiously and nervously.

"Take it easy, Marin. You don't have to hurry. If we take action hastily and are caught by their array,we will just fail Rocky's intention of getting inside of it,” Sabina said seriously as she jumped offDuchess Silver.

"His intention?" Marin was dumbfounded by what Sabina had just said. She had no idea whatSabina was talking about.

"In my opinion, this array is not ordinary. Instead, it looks quite lethal and dangerous, and it willbecome very difficult to get out once we enter it recklessly. That must be the reason why Rockydecided to enter the array alone because he wanted to avoid possible major casualties for theCrimson Dragon Army," Sabina explained, as if she saw through Rocky's real intention withoutdifficulty. Part of it was because she heard Rocky and Woods talking when she came back.

The reason for her sudden disappearance a while ago was partly Woods’ fault. When she was aboutto reach the west side of the Hippo Land, she found four figures nearby. Three among them weregiving out an aura above the Heavenly Stage. Sabina was curious about their identities, and shemoved towards them. As a result, she ran into Woods and three senior spirit manipulators at theHeavenly Stage. They protected Woods from a possible battle that might happen.

But it was strange that Woods didn't show some hostility towards her. Instead, when he found outthat she was a spirit manipulator at the Supernal Stage, he acted normal and didn't fear her. Hespoke with ease and fluency, but all his three bodyguards looked extremely frightened that shewould kill them all.

After the three bodyguards took Woods away, it was the time when Sabina could get her feet backto Hippo Land. That encounter was the reason why it took her so long

"How dare he enter the array by himself?! He always acts so recklessly every single time!" Marinsaid. Her face changed its color when she heard Sabina's analysis.

"Exactly! If he dies in that array, nobody will bury his body." Sabina echoed with Marin, but despiteher brutal words, she admired Rocky's courageous act.

"Now that we know this array is dangerous, we can't just sit still and wait for our death. We need toreplace a way on how to deal with it,” Marin said. Her face looked very worried about the situation thatRocky was in, and she was burning with anxiety.

"Marin, it seems like you're so worried about him, huh?" Sabina asked with a faint smile on her facewhen she saw the expression of Marin. She examined her as if she could read what was insideMarin’s head.

"Not at all! I'm just worried because, because..." Marin denied instantly, but she didn't know what toexplain and how to react intelligently right away. Rocky raised his spiritual power, trying to resist every arrow that fell. A stream of Evil Flameappeared in an exquisite curve when he waved his hands. The curve began flashing, forming aprotective screen in front of him. The falling arrows flared as soon as they touched the protectivescreen that Rocky created.

After evading one arrow after another, Rocky then saw about one hundred spears rushing towardshim.

He promptly turned up and strode in the air, and in just a second, the spears plunged onto theground beneath him, interlacing each other.

After minutes of dodging and burning the arrows and spears, he escaped in succession. However, assoon as he stood back on the ground, several streams of spiritual light rushed to him from differentdirections and angles. He wielded his Frozen Wind Dagger and turned its edge with running flame,and brandished it forward to resist the spiritual light.

The next moment, the spiritual light flickered with an explosion. It was a resounding explosion thatcan be heard from here to there.

But before Rocky could relax for a moment, here came again another set of rainfall of arrows.

Then axes came with such a great number.

The attacks emerged one after another in an airtight manner, and Rocky couldn't relax because hewas too busy deflecting each attack.

“This array is indeed powerful!’ Rocky thought to himself while resisting all the attacks coming fromdifferent directions. He kept on moving inside the array as quickly as a gust of wind, and he tried hisbest to collect data about the Magic Lotus Array.

If ordinary soldiers entered it, a large number of them would die. It was because even, Rocky whowas a spirit manipulator at the Heavenly Stage, found it hard to keep up and he could only manageto protect himself.

After taking too many attacks, he finally collected a large amount of data about the Magic LotusArray and got familiar with its various attacking means.

Rocky suddenly saw a beast appear over his head. When he looked carefully, he found it wasDuchess Silver, Sabina's spirit-manipulated beast.

"Get on." A familiar cold voice came through Duchess Silver's back. It was Sabina who was speaking.A sudden smile crept up on Rocky's lips. He jumped up and landed on Duchess Silver's back. Theattractive smell of Sabina greeted his nose.

"Smells nice." Rocky couldn't help but tease her and sigh.

"If you talk any more absurdity, I will throw you away without hesitation,” Sabina exclaimed in a coldand angry voice.

Rocky burst into laughter until his stomach hurt and couldn't breathe properly anymore. Soon afterthat, they came back to the location of the Crimson Dragon Army.

"Rocky, are you alright?” Marin ran to where they were and asked him hastily while looking up anddown. She strode beside him as soon as he jumped off from Duchess Silver.

"I'm okay," Rocky answered, and then he turned his head back to Sabina who was still on her spirit-manipulated beast's back. "Thank you," he said. He could get out of that array all by himself, but hewould need to take down more enemies and would take a lot of time before he could get out.Sabina's help saved all of those troubles for him.

"If you want to say thanks, you should thank Commander Marin. I just helped you for her sake.Otherwise, I would have neglected you completely.” Sabina gave him a cold glare. Then she jumpedoff Duchess Silver's back too and sent it to her Magic Spiritual Space.

As guided by Sabina, Rocky turned his head to where Marin was. However, before he could utter asingle word, Marin suddenly blurted out, "You'd better not misunderstand me. I wasn't worriedabout you, not the least.” Her words sounded like she just confessed what she felt without beingpressured.

Rocky smiled but didn't say anything to her, then he turned his head back to take a look at theMagic Lotus Array. He looked around all the troops of the Crimson Dragon Army and ordered, "Goback. Let's call it a day!”

Then he led the troops to withdraw to the camp of the Crimson Dragon Army.

"Commander Bai, did our plan fail?" Dunn walked forward and asked as soon as he saw Rocky andthe others came back. He had been waiting for news all this time at the camp.

"Our plan succeeded. But I think I underestimated Woods," Rocky answered with a smile of self-mockery seen on the curve of his mouth, then he shouted to all the troops, "You did a great jobtonight. Go back to your tents and have a good rest.” He ordered the armies, and then he went backto his tent.

Marin wanted to stop Rocky and say something to him. But she gave up on second thought beforeshe could utter a word. Her eyes became bleak, and she turned around and left.

All of these were caught by Sabina. Shaking her head, Sabina sighed, "I'm afraid this girl is falling inlove..."
