Rebirth of the Prime Dragon Master -
Chapter 475 Alyssa Set Traps to Mislead the Enemy (Part Two)
Which was along the lines of, "Are you commanders that useless? Are you sure that Rocky is theonly capable one to lead the whole army to victory?"
The commanders realized and understood what she meant. They began to talk about theirstrategies and recommended themselves with no intention of being looked down upon.
In fact, ever since Rocky had gained so many wonderful achievements, most of the commanders ofthe Crimson Dragon Group were a bit ashamed. After all, most of them had already risked their livesfor the Crimson Dragon Group in order to gain the fame and the position that they currently had.But in the end, they had to rely on a little boy at a crucial time. In fact, they were so indignant intowanting to replace a chance to prove themselves. They couldn't be defeated by these problems.Otherwise, they could not strive for higher ranks and lead their own soldiers better in the future.Seeing that the commanders were so active in discussing the strategies that they had planned, Isisnodded with satisfaction. She did not want to see those commanders develop the habit of relyingon Rocky for everything, because she believed that both soldiers and commanders should realizethat they could only rely on themselves in the battle. Especially the commanders who were the elitesof the army, and who burdened the lives of their soldiers with making decisions in every criticalmoment should know this perfectly.
However, she also realized that even she couldn't think of how to break through the indestructibledefense line of the Timber Deity Empire, let alone these commanders. From her standpoint, she onlysaid those words because she wanted those commanders to realize the gravity of their duty. However, deep down in her heart, she still hoped that Rocky could show up as soon as possible, because she knew that he was good at breaking the deadlock. The stand-off between two armiescould not continue any longer, otherwise the soldiers would suffer from low morale. The situationwould be even more troublesome if the Crimson Dragon Army could not make an efficient strategyto break the frontline of the Timber Deity Empire.
“Where on earth has this guy gone? Should I send him a message through the Carrier Beast, just sohe could come back?" Isis thought to herself. At that very moment, Isis was a little hesitant to do it.Asking Rocky for help meant that she would lose her face. In fact, she was too embarrassed to evenask him to come back and help her save the troops. In reality, it all boiled down to her anger whenRocky left the army and everyone knew that she didn't want to get him back and ask for his help. But now, she had to break through her pride to humbly ask him to come back because the CrimsonDragon Army was unable to break the deadlock. It drove her insane because this was not who shewas and was not her style of leading the army.
Meanwhile, Alyssa and Woods were just walking in the camp located in the Deity Unicorn Valley, followed by a few commanders. As they walked, they stopped along the road to inspect conditionof the military.
"Brother, do you think this plan is really feasible?" frowning, Alyssa asked in a chilly voice as theywalked
"If it all goes well, then we can do it. What's more is that we will kill two birds with one stone.”Woods agreed as nodded and stared at Alyssa.
"But in this way, our spies might be exposed. We had tried so hard to put them into the CrimsonDragon Army these years and we would not let a simple mistake ruin all our hard work," Alyssareplied coldly. It was obvious that she was not so convinced with Woods’ idea.
"Please rest your heart, dear sister. Not all of them would be exposed, and you must know that towin a war, sacrifices shall be made. Alyssa, I know that you're really good at setting traps. So I needyou to confuse them the next time. Besides, I think that the Crimson Dragon Army had alreadynoticed the spies who we sent. On the contrary, we can take this chance to let them replace out someof our spies, so that they can relax with their vigilance,” answered Woods with a smile. His eyes weresharp and merciless, as if the lives of the spies were unimportant like a speck of dust.
"It's easy for you to say that. Once some of them get exposed, the Crimson Dragon Army wouldthen replace out more of our spies. They are not that stupid. Then that would be a great risk for ourplan. I am not sure whether we have made a good decision,” said Alyssa. Knowing her sister, heknew that Alyssa was a cautious person.
"Don't worry. It's a good deal to sacrifice a worthless chess piece in exchange for such an importanthostage. Of course, maybe you can see the person you are curious about this time. Come on, don'ttell me you don't want to see him. If I can take this opportunity to persuade him to join us, with thehostages in our hands, the Crimson Dragon Army will definitely lose in this fight!" Woods said in afirm and determined voice.
"Ha-ha! If you succeed in confusing them, then I'll reward you for a job well done.” Upon hearingwhat her brother said, Alyssa gave a mysterious smile. In the end, she decided to take this task andto seduce that mysterious person out.
Upon developing and finishing their plan, Woods smiled in a menacing way. With a figure flashingthrough his mind, he then said to himself, "We'll meet again soon!"
