Chapter 478 Disappear Without A Trace

The two armies were in a stalemate at the Deity Unicorn Valley. The Crimson Dragon Army led byIsis still couldn't breach the solid defense mounted by the Timber Deity Empire's army.

Isis was alone at the commander's camp racking her brain to draw up a strategy. The defense of theTimber Deity Empire seemed like a great copper wall and the Crimson Dragon Army was feelingabsolutely helpless. Therefore, she was in hope to bring up a counter strategy to breach theirdefense.

"Should I call him back?" Her thoughts were towards calling Rocky back. But it was not long ago,she had told her commanders that the Crimson Dragon Army in fact had the capability for doingeverything they wanted without Rocky. However, now, when she had failed to think of a strategy todefeat the enemy, she was completely uncertain about it.

The fact of the matter was that, she was actually mad at Rocky for running away from the war. Butshe also knew that the Crimson Dragon Army needed the services of Rocky.

A strapping man walked into the commander's tent while she was in her indecisive thoughts.

On hearing the sound, she looked up and saw Dunn walking in.

"Commander Dunn? What's up?" Isis asked while slightly blinking her eyes.

"Deputy Commander in Chief, I just received a letter.” Dunn bowed and presented the letter in hishands, with a strange look on his face.

"A letter? Where did it come from?" Isis asked noticing Dunn's strange look.

"Please check it yourself." He handed the letter to her.

She took it over and unfolded it. It was written, "I am trapped on Mount Clouds." The letter endedwith the signature of Rocky.

"When did you receive it?" Isis asked upon seeing Rocky's signature.

"An hour ago..." Dunn replied.

"Are you sure that this is Rocky's handwriting?" she asked, because she was worried if it was aconspiracy of the enemy, who might pretend to be Rocky and tried to deceive them.

"This is a letter that Rocky had sent earlier to Camp Director Louis of the logistics camp. I just sentsomeone to bring it from Camp Director Louis.” He handed over the second letter also to her.

On comparing the handwritings on both the letters, it seemed the handwritings were almost same.It seemed the letter was actually sent by Rocky himself.

"Why did he go to Mount Clouds? What did he mean by the word trapped?" Isis asked with apuzzled look on her face.

"I don't know. Mount Clouds is not far from the Deity Unicorn Valley. I think Commander Rockymight be actually in trouble. There are chances of him being targeted by the Timber Deity Empire.After all, Commander Rocky has destroyed the conspiracies of the Timber Deity Empire multipletimes. If the Timber Deity Empire would actually come to know about the whereabouts of him, Ithink they will surely try to kill him..." Dunn guessed, looking nervous.

On hearing this, Isis felt a little uneasy. If it was true, Rocky must be in a very dangerous situation."I think this is a trap set by the Timber Deity Empire. Maybe they have caught Commander Rockyand forced him to send this letter to us and lure us into a trap. For the sake of safety, why not let metake some people to Mount Clouds and replace out what happened...” Dunn suggested.

"It'll take a long time. If Rocky is really in danger, it will be too late when you arrive. And if it is reallya trap, you can't take people there, as it will only increase the loss..." Isis said after thinking for awhile.

"What should we do now?" Dunn asked with a worried face.

"Well, I'll ride the Silver Wind to check the situation on Mount Clouds. If I need support, I'll send youa message,” Isis answered after pondering for a while.

"You can't do that, it's too dangerous. What if it is a trap by the enemy?" Dunn worried.

"I will be fine with the Silver Wind. I know what I am doing. Besides, keep it a secret for the timebeing, lest it disturbs the army! Wait for my news..." she warned and then walked out of thecommander's tent.

"Don’t worry, no one will know that!" Dunn said with a cold smile.

After walking out of the commander's tent, Isis summoned Silver Wind and left for Mount Clouds.Mount Clouds was six miles away to the west of the Deity Unicorn Valley. It was a beautiful placewith a lot of hills.

It took her almost two hours to reach the mountain. After reaching there, she asked Silver Wind tofly low around the mountain and search for Rocky. Soon, she observed thick smoke rising from thewest of Mount Clouds. It seemed to be a signal. Inmediately she asked the Silver Wind to flytowards there.

The Silver Wind landed and she found out the smoke was from a pile of charcoal. Also, Rocky wasnowhere to be found.

"Rocky..." Isis called out, but nobody replied.

Then she decided to ride the Silver Wind and look around, and it turned out that the ground underfeet was shaking suddenly. Six wooden pillars with dragon and phoenix pattern carved on them,slowly rose from the ground

As the pillars rose up, all the lines on them started to shine and there was lightening spiritual powerbetween the pillars forming a net.

"It's a trap! ?" She was frightened and hopped on to her beast without hesitation.

Flapping its wings, the Silver Wind was about to fly into the sky, but when it just flew over thepillars, the six pillars suddenly shot it down with a lightening spiritual power.

As a result, the Silver Wind fell on to the ground, with a howl, rising up a cloud of dust.

Luckily, Isis reacted on time and she immediately jumped off the Silver Wind and stood on theground.

"Silver Wind?" Looking at the painful Silver Wind on the ground, Isis became cold and a little angry.The spiritual light from her delicate body rose up instantly. Then, a cyclone with strong momentumbegan to whirl around her. The cultivation base of the eighth grade of the Heavenly Stage wasimmediately shown out. Brightly shining strong spiritual power was spreading from her delicatebody.

As she raised her arm, the wind glittered above it. A strong spiritual spiral wind whirled out of herarm. The wind got transformed into a wild dragon which was roaring and rushing to one of the sixpillars.

After the wind dragon was hit on a pillar, it should have brought a very strong destructive power,but it had disappeared without a trace.
