Rebirth of the Prime Dragon Master -
Chapter 493 Rocky Smiled
"What order can make you so worried, Camp Director Louis?" asked Rocky. Looking at Louis, Rockyknew that Louis seemed really in a dilemma.
"Commander in Chief ordered a few days ago that the logistics camp should speed up the supply ofgrains and materials. However, now the battle line of the Crimson Dragon Army is too long andscattered. With the current capacity of the logistics camp, it is almost impossible to speed up thesupply of the grains and materials," Louis replied.
"You can report the actual situation to the Commander in Chief and ask him to increase the soldiersof the logistics camp," suggested Rocky after thinking for a while. He knew that he should definitelyreplace a solution to the problem to help them.
"Easier said than done. In order to attack the Deity Unicorn Valley, the Crimson Dragon Army hasgathered thirty thousand soldiers and ten thousand reinforcements. The rest of soldiers have toguard other strategically important places. There are no extra soldiers for the logistics camp. TheCommander in Chief also knows this situation. But he still hopes the logistics camp can figure out away to solve the problem," sighed Louis hesitantly. Solving the problem was a matter of urgencyand Louis was quite considerate about the issue.
"Lance is really good at forcing others to do what they can't do!" Rocky sneered.
Louis was surprised to hear Rocky calling out Commander in Chief by his name. After all, thisshowed disrespect towards Lance. Seeing Rocky's look, he guessed that Rocky had quarreled withLance and that was the reason for Rocky's return to the logistics camp. But Louis looked up to Rockywith high respect as he was known for his achievements in the past.
It was just a mere guess, so he didn't ask much. He hoped that Rocky could come up with an idea totransport gains and materials to solve the current issue. Louis believed that Rocky could come upwith an action plan which was far more effective than anything anyone in the camp would think of.Noticing Louis's worries, Rocky said with hesitation, "Let me see, but I'm afraid it's going to be verydifficult according to the current situation.”
Rocky knew that he had to replace a solution spontaneously and there was no more time to waste. Heknew that loss of time meant loss of resources for the army.
"Thank you! Captain Rocky," replied Louis delightedly. He was thankful for the sheer support. Louisbecame a bit calm after hearing from Rocky as he strongly believed that Rocky was prudent.
"By the way, ask the cook to prepare thirty pieces of meat and send them to the beast farm everyday from tomorrow onward,” Rocky added.
"Thirty? Really thirty?? That's too much... Why do we need so much meat, Captain Rocky?" said Louissurprisingly.
"The injured spirit-manipulated beasts in the beast farm are starving to death. They must eat a lot tofill their stomach,” answered Rocky.
"The spirit-manipulated beasts are either badly injured or disabled. Even if they eat well, they arebarely useful. Also thirty pieces of meat are too much. It is equal to the food requirements of thegenerals and soldiers of our camp for a few days. And we have to provide it every day..." Louis saidwith hesitation.
"They are barely useful? After I cure them, I'm sure they will live well," Rocky declared, crossing hisarms across his chest.
Hearing what Rocky said, Louis thought that he had to rely on Rocky to solve the current problem,so he had to take the order.
After thinking for a while, he asked, "Can we provide it less frequently, like once in three days?"Louis wasn't sure about Rocky's decision.
"No, at least once in two days is needed. We need to prepare some vegetables and fruits too,"added Rocky, waving his hand.
After a while, Louis finally made up his mind and nodded. He relied on Rocky's decisions.
"Thank you, Camp Director Louis," said Rocky. Rocky smiled and left with his hands clasped behindhis back.
It was already midnight when he got out of the tent. He sneaked out of the logistics camp aloneand went to the river nearby where he took a quick shower and washed the stinky clothes. Then hefound a few branches and set the clothes up. He made a fire nearby. He wore his underwear andexposed his strong body. He sat on the stone next to the river and cultivated himself with his eyesclosed.
After cultivating himself for a while, Rocky noticed that there was a very familiar aura of theHeavenly Stage coming closer to him. He opened his eyes immediately and saw a graceful womanapproaching.
"Commander Marin! It's so late and you still spy on me? Are you going to keep an eye on me everyday?" said Rocky. At the first glance, Rocky recognized that the beautiful woman was Marin becauseof her beautiful long hair and pale skin. Marin had curvy body which was deeply attractive. Heralmond eyes and long neck enhanced her look.
"Why didn't you tell me you were here? I have been looking for you for a long time," Marincomplained as she came close.
"As I said, I won't run away. I will never," said Rocky. Rocky shook his head, smiling bitterly. He foundthat Marin was really difficult to deal with. Then he walked down the rock.
At the same time, Marin came forward. In the light of fire, she saw that Rocky was in an underwearwhich could only cover the private parts of his body. He had strong and refined muscles which wereproportioned and charming bronze skin tone.
Marin couldn't stop blushing as she saw him. Her eyes fell on his perfect body for a moment andshe swallowed slightly. She had to admit that this was definitely the best body of a man she hadseen ever in her life. She was in the army where there were masculine soldiers. She saw them bare tothe waist from time to time. Most of the time, she was not surprised by it as it was a regulareveryday scene. No man intrigued her. But when she saw the figure of Rocky, she felt her heartbeating fast. She couldn't help wanting to take a few more looks at him.
Marin looked away and asked hastily, "Where are your clothes?”
"Aren't they being dried there?" Rocky said by pointing to the clothes near the fire.
"Why don't you use your spiritual power to dry them? It'll be faster, isn't it?" said Marin. She wasextremely confused
"It is more comfortable to wear clothes dried in this way, I mean naturally,” replied Rocky.
Hearing that, Marin gave a disdainful look at Rocky. She thought he was really not affected by thedismissal at all. After returning to the logistics camp, he felt at home. He was at peace. Besides, hedid not feel guilty about his actions done to her cousin. Unless he was heartless, he would not havebeen worried. This made her more curious about what had happened and what Rocky meant bysaying that before.
"If you have nothing else to say, I will continue with my cultivation. If you want to spy on me, goahead! I'm very generous. I won't mind you taking advantage of me," said Rocky. Rocky turnedaround and jumped onto the stone. He closed his eyes and started to cultivate himself. It was apractice that brought him concentration.
Marin was a little hesitant seeing him so indulgent in the process. She did not know whether sheshould continue to spy on him. But she stayed and sat beside the fire.
When she saw the Frozen Wind Dagger near the fire, she felt the unique spiritual power releasedfrom it. The golden light gleamed and this made her curious. Marin couldn't help but reach out topick it up. She turned around to take a peek at Rocky as she didn't want him to know.
'From where did he get such a rare Spiritual Weapon?’ Marin wondered. She observed it and wasintrigued by its beauty. Soon her eyes caught its delicate handle. At the end of the handle there wasa mark resembling a snowflake. She happened to recall this mark and knew that only one person inthe Holy Dragon Empire had this mark. The person was Marcia, one of the Three Great Generals ofthe Holy Dragon Empire! She was struck realizing this.
