"Although Sabina was sent to protect me, she seems to not know who I am. Perhaps the personwho sent her knows, otherwise a person at the Supernal Stage wouldn't have been sent to protectsome random person. Who could her master be? Could it be Lena?" Rocky guessed. The beautifulimage of Lena crossed his mind.

The next day, Marin arrived at the camp near the Deity Unicorn Valley. She went straight to the tentof Isis knowing that she had woken up. When she got there, Isis was nowhere to be seen. Later, shewas informed that she had been with Silver Wind

Marin went to the beast stable that was set up for Silver Wind and that is where she found Isis."Isis," Marin called. She was relieved to finally see Isis safe and sound. But before a smile could formon her face, she noticed that Isis was sad.

Isis looked up. "Marin," she started, "aren't you supposed to be at the logistics camp? My father saidyou were sent there. Why are you here? My father's message hasn't been delivered yet.”

"I came back because I was worried about you," Marin reasoned.

"I'm fine." Isis managed a small smile. She touched Marin's forehead to comfort her.

"Are you really fine? Do you recall what happened to you?" Marin wasn't convinced. She assumedLance hadn't told Isis what had happened.

"Yes, I do. I know that I lost my virginity.” Her eyes gave no hint of any emotions. Calmnessenveloped her face.

Marin was surprised that Isis knew but, even more so, she was skeptical of her calmness. Isis wasprobably trying to hide her emotions. It wouldn't be surprising if she hated Rocky. "Don't be mad athim," Marin lamented. "Maybe he was just obsessed by your beauty. Maybe you will never forgivehim, but you have talk to your father. Rocky can't die.”

"Obsessed by my beauty? What makes you say I will never forgive him?" The calmness on the faceof Isis was replaced by confusion.

"Rocky slept with you. Didn't he?" Marin asked.

"Yes, he did. But only because he was trying to save me." Isis felt her heart beat faster at thememory of the passion they shared in the cave. She knew that Marin misunderstood the situationjust as her father did.

"To save you?" Marin was stunned. "So he didn't take advantage of you?"

Isis nodded.

"It was a misunderstanding." Marin didn't know how to feel.

"How's Rocky? Is he alright?" Isis wanted to know.

"Rocky? Yes, he's alright." Marin felt anger slowly crawl under her skin.

"Did he explain his side to my father?" Isis wondered.

Marin shook her head.

"Why didn't he tell my father the truth?" Isis couldn't comprehend Rocky's actions.

"Uncle was too angry to even listen to him. He found the two letters from your clothes andimmediately thought that Rocky led you to Mount Clouds and set you up," Marin narrated."Seriously? Father can really be stubborn.” Isis let out a sigh.

"But why did you go to Mount Clouds? And how did Rocky know you were there?" There were stillplenty of questions in Marin's mind.

"It was all a setup by the Timer Deity Empire. A setup which we all had fallen for. It would be hard tohave Rocky back this time," Isis mused.

Marin was silent.

"I have to go replace Rocky. I just have to make sure Silver Wind is fine." Isis said this yet deep downknew she still wasn't ready to meet Rocky.

"Isis, what happened between you and Rocky was complicated. Aren't you the least bit angry athim? He took your chastity. A very precious thing for all of us!" Marin found something odd abouthow Isis behaved, especially considering that she was forced to have sex.

"Why should I be angry? If we didn't do it, I wouldn't have been here right now. And besides..." Isisstopped herself mid-sentence. After that night, Isis realized she had special feelings for him. Itwasn't strong, but she also knew she had no bad feelings for the man. In fact, she may actually bewilling to be his woman. She didn't think she liked Rocky, but Rocky held a special place in her heart.He was the only man apart from her father who made her feel a special kind of affection.

"What were you trying to say?" Marin tried to read Isis’ weird expression.

Isis shook her head. "It was nothing.” She allowed her mind to wander off.

"Are you sure you'd be okay confronting what happened between you and Rocky?" Marinconfirmed. Even if Rocky had good intentions, being forced to have sex still wasn't a small thing totake. But Isis was surprisingly calm.

"Why wouldn't I be? He saved me." Isis blushed. Rocky was the first man she had been with. Maybethat's why he was so dear to her. He gave her indescribable feelings.

Marin was silent. She realized that Isis looked like a woman in love. She knew Isis well. She knewthat Isis wouldn't have the heart to see him if she resented him. But now, Isis was even willing to golook for Rocky.

Marin panicked. It looked like Isis was growing a crush on Rocky, just like her.

She wouldn't want both of them to fall for the same man. She wouldn't know what to do.
