"I'll make sure that you would suffer terribly first before you tell me." Erica appeared to be enragedas those sharp arrow-like eyes of hers were both aimed towards Rocky.

"Oh really? You better think about that careless remark. If I were to be killed, Uriah will surely dosomething bad to Tasha. Biting her ear or nose off can be easily done,” Rocky said with a calm yetscary voice.

The threat made Erica's face turn pale. As she realized that Rocky came prepared, a resigned lookpainted her face. After she hesitated for a while, she reluctantly asked, "What do you want?"

"I just want you to let me leave here safe and sound. Don't even bother to follow me,” Rocky repliedwith a callous tone.

"I can't just let you off the hook so easily. Unless you give me the Sea Blue Magic Jade and Tasha'slocation, you won't be going anywhere." Apparently, Erica wouldn't let Rocky leave with the Sea BlueMagic Jade. Rocky had already threatened her with the life of Tasha, which made her infuriated.Letting him escape would be the biggest compromise she could make given her difficult situation."It seems that I can't negotiate with a stubborn person like you. It's such a pity that Tasha has such acruel and remorseless senior sister apprentice. You don't even give a damn about saving her! Shehad just told me that you would spare no effort in her rescue. Sadly, it looks like her expectationsabout you were wrong." Rocky shrugged with a disappointed look.

After Rocky's hurtful remark, Erica couldn't but get furious. Anger enveloped her and turned herface red. The bastard in front of her threatened her with Tasha's life, but he dared to put all theblame onto her.

All of a sudden, four masters of the Heavenly Stage from the Elite Regiment had appeared. Alongwith them were several spirit manipulators with higher grades of Heavenly Stage. The group ofwarriors had easily blocked all of Rocky's escape routes.

"Haha, you cheeky brat! Give me the Sea Blue Magic Jade now!"

"You are not worthy to have this. I'll surrender this once pigs can finally fly, you incompetentbastard!"

"This is just bullshit! It's easier to take it once he's dead.”

The other powerful masters of the Heavenly Stage also decided to rush over. Anger and resentmentwere seen in their eyes as they glared daggers towards Rocky. It was as if they all wanted to cut himinto pieces due to their jealousy. They envied the fact that Rocky obtained the Sea Blue Magic JadeEven though they risked their lives, they couldn't even touch the jade. As such, their hearts couldn'taccept how fortunate Rocky was.

"Erica, do you really want both Tasha and me to die? You do realize that her life is on my hands.Maybe you want Tasha to come back safe and sound. You should really set your priorities straight.”Rocky's calm yet implicit threat reverberated throughout Erica's ears.

If Erica ignored his remark and still refused to compromise, Rocky wouldn't be able to escape such adangerous situation.

“Where the hell is Sabina? I wish she would come here and rescue me.’ A rather desperate thoughtcame across Rocky's heart. Sabina could actually help him leave rather safely. However, Sabina failedto show up. Rocky grew worried that something terrible might have happened to her.

When she heard Rocky's threat, Erica grew hesitant. Dagger-like eyes were seen in her face as shewas angry at the fact Rocky threatened her with Tasha's life. However, she would never stand by andwatch Tasha die if Tasha was caught by Rocky and was to be killed by him. After all, Tasha was theirmaster's last disciple. Erica had known her for a long time and witnessed her grow up to a fineyoung lady. As such, she didn't want Tasha to die.

Erica was in a very conflicted mood. On one hand, she had to follow her master's order to bring theSea Blue Magic Jade back. However, the life of Tasha was also in danger. To save her life, Erica hadto let Rocky take away the Sea Blue Magic Jade. Such a dilemma harshly burdened her thoughts.Not a single word came out of Erica's soft lips. As such, many of the phoenix spirit manipulatorsgrew rather anxious. They also became worried about Tasha's safety. Nonetheless, the Sea BlueMagic Jade was already in front of them. It would be rather easy to grab it from Rocky if they wereto team up together.

"Protect him first, but don't let him out of your sights.” A bold command was finally made by Ericaas her eyes flickered with conviction. It would be rather futile if another warrior was able to snatchthe Sea Blue Magic Jade from Rocky. The best plan was to let him keep the jade for a while. Since hewas no match for their group, they could easily kill him after they'd interrogated him about Tasha'swhereabouts.

The phoenix spirit manipulators around Erica looked at each other in a somewhat bewildered look.However, they immediately understood her decision. It was also important for them to save Tasha.The masters at the Heavenly Stage were also shocked when they heard that the Magic PhoenixEmpire decided to protect Rocky. We can easilytake the Sea Blue Magic Jade when they're all dead," the fake Sheehan coldly shouted with a darkand sinister look.

The masters of the Heavenly Stage exchanged a meaningful look and then rushed towards Rockyand the others. Their wild charge made them look like angry bulls.

The spirit manipulators of the Snow Ease Clan and the Timber Deity Empire had the worst part ofthe fight. A moment ago, they were enemies. However, they suddenly became allies because theMagic Phoenix Empire had decided to protect Rocky.

The Magic Phoenix Empire only had six fighters. The remaining masters of the Heavenly Stage couldeasily defeat the Magic Phoenix Empire if they were to join hands.

However, the masters of the Heavenly Stage each had their own plans. They planned to fighttogether against the Magic Phoenix Empire first. Nonetheless, if an opportunity were to presentitself, they would rather steal the Sea Blue Magic Jade for themselves.

When he considered that Erica had compromised and that the masters of the Heavenly Stage wereon the same side, Rocky also decided to return the favor. With a proud voice, he said, "Protect meand I'll tell you Tasha's location.”

Even after she heard what Rocky said, Erica still gave him a murderous glare. Finally, some mastersof the Heavenly Stage had approached them, so she began her battle motions. The other fivephoenix spirit manipulators who surrounded Rocky had also formed a protective formation aroundhim.

Spiritual power began to surge in Erica's body. Almost immediately, lightning flashed and the powerof the Supernal Stage electrified around her, which gave her a rather galvanic aura. Those whowanted to rush over their location grew scared.

The gap between a spirit manipulator of the Supernal Stage and a spirit manipulator of theHeavenly Stage was like heaven and earth. Their power levels were just too far apart.

"Let's go, now!" At her command, Erica tried to forcefully break out of their encirclement as theother five phoenix spirit manipulators protected Rocky.

With a simple wave of her palms, Erica easily summoned a few dragon-like rays of lightning. Therays immediately electrocuted nearby enemies. A constant crackling sound accompanied each flashof lightning, as the warriors around them continued to be electrified.

Several of the weaker spirit manipulators of the Heavenly Stage were thrown away by the strongspiritual power of Erica. All that was heard was their blood-curdling screams as lightning envelopedtheir bodies. Eventually, the encirclement revealed a gap for escape.

Finally, Erica, followed by the other five phoenix spirit manipulators and Rocky, broke out from thesiege. With haste, they dashed towards the door of the hall to finally escape their predicament.
