Chapter 591 The Battle Of The Heavenly Stage Warriors

The Timber Deity Empire army marched forward with great strength and vigor as they chased theEvian City garrison to the northwest. They intended to catch up with the vulnerable troops but then,out of nowhere, flames soared as high up as the sky in front of them. On both sides of the roadleading northwest, a sea of black flames lit up the dim sky. It was quite distressing to witness.

The center of the burning road stood three vague figures—one man flanked on either side by twobeasts.

The two commanders of the Timber Deity Empire looked at each other, puzzled and dismayed.Sensing a trap, they ordered their soldiers to stop marching forward. The large group behind themimmediately came to a halt.

"Is that..." The commander in blue instantly recognized the hazy figures.

"Yes, it's him. I thought a spirit manipulator should have only one single spirit-manipulated beast. Sowhy does he not only have one but two? What's that other spiritual beast doing with him?" thecommander in red asked, the questions pouring out of him in confusion and fear. Rationallyspeaking, Rocky was only supposed to have one spirit-manipulated beast. Plus, the other spiritualbeast seemed to have no master. But why was this rare creature with him? Anyone who witnessedthis would be just as perturbed and at a loss for words.

The two commanders couldn't help but think that this all had something to do with the treasurethat Rocky had previously shown.

Amongst the army were two strong Heavenly Stage warriors. Their eyes lit up when they saw Rocky.They remembered seeing him withdraw the rare treasure—the Sea Blue Magic Jade. Next, everyonepresent witnessed the extraordinarily powerful spiritual beast with him. All the spirit manipulatorshad longed for such a beast. No wonder the two strong warriors considered Rocky just as preciousas a treasure box.

"Commanders, we wish to volunteer in testing this man’s strength,” the two warriors insisted as theyprepared to fight.

Hearing these words, the two commanders were hesitant. But they couldn't waste time. Theyneeded to move northwest immediately to catch up with the Evian City guards and crush them."Alright. But make it quick,” the commander in red permitted.

Not a second passed and already the two warriors were rushing towards Rocky like gallopinghorses.

A moment later, the two of them appeared in front of Rocky with arrogant smirks across their faces."Be a good boy and throw in the towel, won't you, brat? Unless you want to throw your treasuresand your spiritual beast to us instead. We might just consider letting you go if you do,” one of themthreatened with a menacing expression

Rocky's aura was hidden on purpose. So, the two warriors didn't know his real strength. If they tooka close look at Uriah next to Rocky, they would also replace out that Rocky's strength would not beinferior to the Heavenly Stage. It was a pity that they only focused on the treasure and the spiritualbeast. They were unaware of Rocky's real strength and that it was wrong of them to be so bold tochallenge him.

Glancing at his two enemies, Rocky knew that they were both still at the first grade of the HeavenlyStage. He could sum them up in one word—inferior. Yet, he was a much stronger warrior whoreached the third grade of the Heavenly Stage. This large power gap between them meant thatRocky had a better chance at winning the fight, even if both warriors were to attack him at once.

It was known that Heavenly Stage warriors were naturally quite powerful, which was why they wereoften asked to partake in combat on behalf of an empire. They would rarely be sent out duringsmall battles but this battle was different. In fact, the Timber Deity Empire sent ten strong warriorsof the Heavenly Stage alongside selected commanders to conquer Evian City.

With so many warriors at the Heavenly Stage, taking down Evian City could've been a piece of cake.And it would've succeeded if Rocky and Sabina hadn't appeared. By now, Sabina had managed tokill at least three of the ten Heavenly Stage warriors, which proved to be quite a blow to the TimberDeity Empire. If the Timber Deity Empire failed to take down Evian City, their losses would bedoubled.

The other warrior, already impatient, snarled, "Cut the crap. Kill him!"

The two warriors looked at each other before summoning their own spirit-manipulated beasts. Theywere both at the third grade of the three-star level, much stronger than ordinary spirit-manipulatedbeasts. But compared to Rocky's beasts, Uriah and the Rainbow Glow Unicorn, they were far inferior.In no time, the two warriors rushed towards Rocky, ready to pounce on him like a starving tiger. Andtheir spirit-manipulated beasts followed suit and pounced on Rocky's beasts.

Before Rocky ordered his beasts to attack, the unicorn abruptly moved forward. Upon seeing thiscreature, the two three-star spirit-manipulated beasts appeared with trembling legs, just as theHuge-horned Rhinoceroses did before.

"Damn, what are we waiting for? Go and attack!" It surprised the two warriors to see their spirit-manipulated beasts so frightened and to such an extent as this. They thought that although therhinoceroses were strong and enormous, their strengths reached only the second or the third gradeof the three-star level and their masters’ strength was only at the Heavenly Stage. Thus, the twowarriors were puzzled as to why their beasts were still so intimidated.

Even if the two beasts didn't want to fight, Uriah still released its powerful aura and pouncedtowards the warriors’ beasts.

For such a young age, the unicorn managed to showcase the power that was similar to that of anexperienced adult unicorn. Moreover, it could make the rhinoceroses suddenly get out of control.Even though it possessed the potential of a four-star level unicorn, it wasn't so strong yet andneeded time to grow. But if raised right and encouraged for its natural abilities, it would grow tohave unlimited power!
