"No, no!" Laney cried out. She prayed that the ground would open and swallow her, just so Rocky'shumiliation would end.

"Then say it," said Rocky coldly.

"I will never betray the princess. My life belongs to the princess, so even if I die, I will not betrayher." Laney glared at Rocky. Her loyalty helped her stand firm in front of Rocky.

"It seems that you are loyal to your princess. She would be touched if she heard that. Butunfortunately, she can't save you.” Rocky narrowed his eyes at her. He had hoped that she would beeasily scared, but she was proving him wrong.

"Just kill me,” Laney begged. She was already ashamed of herself. She would rather die thancontinue to be insulted by Rocky.

"That would be too good for you. I've never showed mercy to those who treated me wrongly in thefirst place," Rocky said coolly. His inscrutable expression only added to his frightening demeanor."Do you hate me? Do you want to kill me? Then you must live first, and then you can seek revengeagainst me," said Rocky. He finally smiled, as Laney looked up at him with hatred in her eyes."What right do I have to hate you? After all, I started it, didn't 1?" Laney suddenly responded in acalmer tone than she had before.

This made Rocky pause thoughtfully.

"It's useless for you to torture me. I don't know anything. My task is to collect the information of theCrimson Dragon Group and then send it to the princess. I know nothing about the information ofthe Timber Deity Empire,” Laney said after a moment's hesitation.

"Do you think I will believe you?" Rocky sneered.

"Whether you believe it or not, that's up to you," Laney snorted.

She suddenly took a deep breath and met Rocky's eyes. She was trembling slightly and tears werefalling down her ruddy cheeks. It seemed she was deathly afraid of Rocky.

"Don't act pitiful with me,” said Rocky coldly.

"I thought you were different from other men, but I was wrong. You are just as shameless as them.All you want is my body. Are you torturing me? I think this is just your excuse.” Laney suddenlysnickered

"Woman, are you provoking me?" Rocky asked, as his eyes narrowed suspiciously. He had notexpected Laney to challenge him.

"So what if I am?" Laney grinned up at him cheekily.

"Well, you succeeded,” Rocky growled. He just wanted to frighten her, but she didn't buy it. Itseemed that he had to go all out.

He promptly unlocked Laney's meridians and freed her. At the same time, he leaned his full weighton her, so she wouldn't be able to move.

"This is your last chance. You can leave if you tell me what you know. If you still refuse to tell me, Ihave no choice," Rocky warned for the last time.

"No more excuses..." Laney responded with a giggle.
