Chapter 652 End Him With Immense Power

Rocky frowned at what he saw. Looking up, he spotted a dozen spirit-manipulated beasts locked inan intense aerial battle—and Alyssa’s spirit-manipulated beast was one of them. He realized that hecouldn't just dash out because doing so would expose his location. Now the only way to get outwas to use the Rainbow Glow Unicorn's special power.

Rocky summoned the Rainbow Glow Unicorn. But before he could try and hide with the beast,Alyssa was one step ahead and began to gather her spiritual power. Instantly, a beam of red lightsurged out of the crack of the Magic Spiritual Space which shook the earth and the sky. The beamfell right in front of the Rainbow Glow Unicorn which caused the beast to roar strangely beforedisappearing.

He could only stare in amazement as the Rainbow Glow Unicorn went missing. With no other optionleft, he ran away towards the other direction with Uriah. He planned to leave the village first andthen rode astride Uriah. On the outskirts of the village, his army were awaiting his return as he hadalready anticipated the Timber Deity Empire's plot. If he reached them in time, he would be safe.Just then, Allen summoned his beast—the Crystal Water Dragon. The dragon quickly rushed in frontof Rufus and White to block their path.

"You go after Rocky. Leave this to me,” Rufus ordered White as he glared at Allen, not forgetting theshame and loss he caused him last time.

Without another word, White sped up to catch up to Rocky.

"Watery Ribbon!" Allen exclaimed as he waved his arm. A strong spiritual power was released instreams of ribbons which constantly twisted and twirled before intertwining around White andsurrounding him completely to block his way.

"Whiskered Fire Bug!" White immediately shouted and whipped out his feather fan to conjure upfire flows which looked like thousands of firebugs emerging from the ground. The fire flowsimmediately rushed towards the watery ribbons that Allen summoned.

When the two spiritual powers made contact, an explosion of light illuminated the entire sky andshimmered for a while. Due to his lack of skill, White failed to release himself from the wateryribbons created by Allen.

Just then, the shadow of an aggressive beast pounced upon Allen. It tried to snap and claw at him.But before the beast could inflict any serious harm, the Crystal Water Dragon managed to conjureup the water mirror enchantment in front of Allen for protection.

"Wind Roaring!" a voice called out as another formidable spiritual power swept in out of nowhere tohelp White break free from the grasp of Allen's watery ribbons.

In the blink of an eye, White disappeared.

"Commander in Chief, I've done all that I could. You're on your own now." A grave expression sweptover Allen as he realized that White had escaped.

As Rocky neared the edge of the village, a man with a nasty and evil grin blocked him out ofnowhere.

"Did you really think it would be that easy, boy? Don't worry. You'll be getting what you deservesoon...in hell!" White exclaimed as he blocked Rocky's way towards safety.

Frowning, Rocky pulled out his Frozen Wind Dagger and out of it came the Flaming Blade. Therewas no use trying to escape due to White's immense skill and power over him. He had to seize anyopportunity that presented itself quickly if he wanted to survive.

"How did you come across that Spiritual Weapon? It's quite an unusual one.” White continued tostare at Rocky's spiritual weapon with greedy eyes.

Uriah, who stood beside Rocky, sensed the danger his owner was in and immediately positioneditself in front of Rocky before jumping forward to attack White.

White sneered and waved his hand to emit a ball of fire.

Bang! As the fireball made contact with Uriah, it morphed into a fire python which entangled itselfaround Uriah's whole body before immobilizing it.

White seized this opportunity to attack Rocky. Confident in his skill, he didn't summon his spirit-manipulated beast. He thought he could take down Rocky and his beast on his own.

"Flaming Cloudcrack Palm!" White cried out. A cracking, flaming cloud in the shape of a giant palmimmediately appeared and rushed towards Rocky's direction.

Judging by his moves, Rocky guessed that White must be one of the Timber spirit manipulators ofthe Timber Deity Empire. These Timber spirit manipulators were on the same level as regular spiritmanipulators but with a higher fighting capacity and quicker reflexes that were hard to defeat incombat.

Rocky did his best to fight back with all his strength using his Flaming Blade but to no avail. White'sFlaming Cloudcrack Palm overpowered him, deflecting the Flaming Blade and came straight at him.With the palm just barely missing him, Rocky stretched out his left arm and ripped his sleeve open.A Dragon Spirit Mark soon appeared on his exposed arm and shined brightly as he punched his lefthand forward to prepare to fight

White was surprised to see the Dragon Spirit Mark on Rocky. This could only mean one thing—hewas the Holy Dragon Empire's royal spirit manipulator.

A flash of light appeared and quickly began to twist and turn into a whirlpool. The power withinWhite's Flaming Cloudcrack Palm was sucked into the vortex before Rocky's entire body turned tocrimson and he began to spit out blood.

"It's time for me to return the favor.” Rocky, ignoring the blood, clenched his teeth and waved hisleft arm to hold out his flaming palm in White's direction.

"How is this possible? I've never heard of any royal spirit manipulator of the Holy Dragon Empireable to master such power," White uttered in disbelief at not just Rocky being able to absorb hisspiritual power but being able to channel that power back to him as well.

Such special power could only be aroused by the Holy Dragon Bead. No other person possessed itapart from Rocky.

But White still believed that he had the upper hand. He moved quick enough to dodge the flamingpalm and then launched his next attack of spiritual martial arts. The whole ground shook and dustclouds rose up from the rubble.

Rocky failed to counteract the attack and ended up stuck in the air.

In spite of this, he showed no sign of fear. He descended back to the ground and stood up firmlywith a look of determination plastered on his face.

"Let's see how long you last this time,” White snorted and launched a new move with his palmwhich managed to strike Rocky once more.

After three attacks, Rocky was forced to retreat to the center of the village. His entire body turnedblack and blue but Rocky knew that White had intended to do much more than cause a couple ofbruises.

Lance and Allen were astonished at Rocky's beaten state.

Alyssa laughed scornfully and exclaimed, "Ha! You're dead, young man!" White was annoyed at thefact that Rocky was still standing in spite of taking three of his attacks. Any other Heavenly Stagespirit manipulator would've begged for mercy at that point. 'How did he manage to still survive?"White thought to himself with a murderous glare and his eyes blazing with hatred.

White dashed forward with his palm to try to end Rocky once and for all with a single move.

Rocky appeared to be too weak to try and dodge White's move this time. Lance and Allen werebusy fighting off other enemies and were unable to help him. The deadly palm steadily made itsway across the field and inched closer towards Rocky in the hopes of ending him for good.
