Chapter 702 The Rescue Plan

Rocky whistled three times. This was the signal they agreed upon, and from out of nowheresomeone whistled three consecutive times to acknowledge Rocky.

After he had figured out the direction, Rocky quietly made a move to approach a man in armor. Theman was sitting on the ground. His body was covered in bruises, while his hands and feet were tiedwith iron chains.

"Are you Commander York?" Rocky asked in a low voice.

"Yes." The man nodded.

"I'm Rocky," Rocky said, as he introduced himself to the man.

"You are Commander in Chief Rocky? Finally, you're here!" Commander York's dark face lit up inexcitement.

"We're trying our best to get you out of here, but I need your cooperation,” Rocky whispered.Commander York nodded.

Rocky then told the commander about the rescue plan.

"Do you understand?" Rocky asked.

Commander York nodded in agreement.

"I will meet you at the south city gate later. Don't worry. Someone will protect you once you getthere. I promise, I will get you out of here alive!" Rocky looked at Commander York sincerely as hepromised.

Rocky untied the iron chains and before long, freed Commander York from the spiritual powerwhich sealed his meridians. He then quietly sneaked out of the fence to meet Sabina.

"Sabina, everyone is ready. I will go to the south city gate now. Please stay on guard here," Rockyinstructed.

"Okay," Sabina agreed, as worry filled her heart. It was a daunting task, but this was all part of theplan.

"Be careful,” Rocky said as he saw the worry in Sabina's eyes. He then left the market and rushedtowards the south city gate.

Soon after, a loud explosion was heard on the east side the Mont City. Wild, angry flames rose tothe sky, and startled the people all over the city.

This caught the attention of the Holy Sea Empire soldiers who were guarding the Mont City. Thesoldiers assumed it was an attack from the enemy, so a large number of them immediately rushedtowards the east side of the Mont City. A moment later, another violent explosion was heard. Thistime, it was at the west side of the Mont City. Rows of houses burned to the ground as smolderingfire consumed the streets. Alarmed, numerous soldiers swarmed towards the west side of the MontCity.

This was Sabina's signal. Hidden somewhere in the market, she stepped out and made her move. Inthe blink of an eye, she was in front of the guards.

"Who are you?" The guards were startled with her sudden appearance.

"I'm the one who will kill all of you,” Sabina replied in a cold and terrifying tone. Without a word, sheraised her hand and a strong ice spiritual power rushed out and hovered above her.

As if something exploded in the air, more than ten guards together with the fence behind themwere thrown into the air several meters high.

"Guys, Commander in Chief Rocky from the Crimson Dragon Army is here to rescue us! Let's go! Wehave to get to the south city gate as soon as possible. That's the only way we can get out of herealive,” Commander York shouted. He stood up immediately and gestured towards the other captivesto follow him.

All the soldiers and citizens imprisoned by the fence suddenly looked alive and became filled withexcitement. They were exhausted and had not eaten for several days, but their strong desire forvictory motivated them to stand on their feet and move forward. As if pushed by an invisible force,everyone, including Commander York dashed towards the hole in the fence.

"Stop them!" the guards shouted.

However, even before the guards could make a move, a blinding light hit them and turned theminto ice sculptures.

Led by Commander York, those who escaped out of the fence quickly raced towards the south citygate of the Mont City.

"The captives are escaping! They are running away!" The guards on patrol saw the people rushingout of the market and noticed that they were all headed towards the south city gate. Terror-stricken,they sounded the alarm in an instant.

However, nearly all soldiers of the Holy Sea Empire had left their post. The loud explosions from theeast and west sides of the city took them by surprise and prompted them to run towards the blast'sdirection. Only several thousand soldiers were left and soon they were after the people runningtowards the south city gate.

Several soldiers of the Holy Sea Empire soon caught up with the people and tried to block their way."Guys, help us! Commander in Chief Rocky is waiting for us at the gate,” Commander York shouted.Several soldiers of the Crimson Dragon Army responded immediately and rushed forward to fightwith the soldiers of the Holy Sea Empire. This gave the people a chance to escape. They pushed theremaining soldiers away and continued their way to the south city gate.

On the other side, Rocky heard the commotion and realized it was not far away. Afraid that therescue attempt would be compromised, he immediately looked at the several guards and spiritmanipulators in front of the city gate. Their mission was almost complete. He could not fail thecaptives now. All he needed to do was rush to the city gate and force it open for the people.However, there were several soldiers guarding the gate and they could slow him down unless heeliminated them first.

Rocky had the powerful beasts to help him. He released Uriah, Rubygon and Rainbow Glow Unicornfrom the Magic Spiritual Space.

"Go!" Rocky shouted to the three beasts.

The three beasts moved quickly and galloped towards the city gate side by side.

By the time the guards at the city gate saw the three beasts, it was too late. A black fireball fell fromthe sky and exploded right in front of the guards. Over ten soldiers fell to the ground in an instant."Stop them!" The guard leader led several soldiers and spirit manipulators to rush forward.

Several spirit manipulators moved in front of the soldiers. They were taken aback when they cameclose enough to see the three beasts clearly. They were huge and terrifying. The spirit-manipulatedbeasts next to them became frightened and let out ear-piercing whines that echoed in the air.

At once, the Rainbow Glow Unicorn emitted a bright, colorful light and the crystal antlers on itshead dazzled like a bright gem. Soon enough, the eyes of the spirit-manipulated beasts that stoodnext to the spirit manipulators suddenly turned red, and they attacked their masters. Unable tobelieve their eyes, the spirit manipulators became too stunned to move.

Even if several soldiers had already surrounded the three beasts, they were too frightened by theiraura and did not dare make a move. The three beasts looked threatening and dangerous with theirbared teeth and angry stare. They moved closer, and this move was enough to scare the pursuingsoldiers. The terrified soldiers retreated out of the city gate, screaming.

At that exact moment, Rocky's figure appeared like a ghost. His entire being illuminated by a blacklight that seemed to come out of his body. He walked behind the three beasts, swinging the FrozenWind Dagger in his hand. He then released the Moon Blades as he walked forward.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

A series of violent explosions resounded in the air, followed by a black, thick smoke that rose fromthe ground.

Rocky appeared out of the smoke and approached the city gate.

"Stop him!" the guard leader shouted. Several Holy Sea Empire soldiers continued to guard the citygate.

After Rocky took out the Dragon Flame Pearl and injected it with the spiritual power. It instantlybecame bright and dazzled. On Rocky's signal, the Dragon Flame Pearl flew into the air, andreleased countless beams like fire dragons in the atmosphere. It danced in mid-air, releasingpowerful heat waves that swept the ground like bushfire.

In a flash, the Dragon Flame Pearl dashed towards the gate like a falling meteorite.

The guards were too stunned to move.

Bang!

Wild flames rose into the air as the Dragon Flame Pearl burst open the city gate. The impact threwthe surrounding guards hundreds of meters away from the gate.

Rocky took back the Dragon Flame Pearl and signaled at the enormous figures behind him. Theground trembled as the three beasts rushed towards him in an instant.

Pursued by thousands of soldiers from the Holy Sea Empire, the captives were now close enough tothe city gate. Escape was now possible and within reach.
