At the onset of darkness, Rocky and his army stationed themselves on a small hill, right across thecampsite of the Timber Deity Army. The air provided a cool breeze as the bright moon settled abovethem.

For the past few days, Rocky and Alyssa had each displayed exceptional skills and leadership. It wasa wild race, as Alyssa chased after Rocky relentlessly. Much as they had fought several minor battles,Rocky and his army were always one move ahead. This left Alyssa angry and frustrated.

Inside the tent, Rocky, Allen, Marin, Louis and the others spent the night discussing what to do next."Contrary to what you said, Alyssa did not retreat. Instead, she and her army chased after us.Commander in Chief, I think you underestimated her this time!" Marin said in a sarcastic tone.

"It looks like Alyssa will not give up on the chase. She will try to capture Rocky, no matter what,"Allen said as he fixed his eyes on Rocky. This was within reason, because Rocky was a vital figure tothe Crimson Dragon Army. If Alyssa wanted to defeat the Crimson Dragon Army, she must first dealwith Rocky and defeat him. Even if there was a slim chance for her to win, she would not give upeasily.

"Am I that charming?" Rocky said with raised eyebrows. A teasing smile spread across his face as helooked at the surrounding people.

"Commander in Chief, if we do not get rid of them, we will soon break into the defense line of theTimber Deity Empire,” Louis said as he pointed at the location on the terrain map. Since Alyssa'sarmy hunted them down persistently, they had no choice but to advance towards the Timber DeityEmpire's defense line. If this went on, they would eventually be cornered and have no choice but tobreak into the enemy's defense line. Although the defense line did not have enough military forces,it was a point of no return the moment they got in.

"That is a serious problem,” Rocky said in a serious tone and nodded.

"Do you have any suggestions, Louis?" Allen asked.

"For now, our only chance is to take advantage of this area which is less than three miles away fromthe Timber Deity Empire's defense line.” Louis pointed at an area and continued, "The terrain in thisarea is complicated and routes here are roundabout. We can take advantage of it to shake off theTimber Deity Empire army. We could also change our direction and avoid entering their defenseline."

"Great. Let's do it." Rocky nodded.

"Who's there?" Allen shouted and turned his head to look out of the tent.

"Head Allen, what's wrong?" Rocky asked as he followed Allen's gaze.

"I thought I heard footsteps approach the tent, but it looks like I was wrong. Maybe I was justhearing things.” Allen shook his head and frowned.

"I hope we can get away from that annoying woman. As long as the joint army of the Timber DeityEmpire and the Roaring Flame Empire is defeated, the Timber Deity Empire will no longer be athreat to the Crimson Dragon Army," Rocky said firmly. Although Alyssa was still after him, what wasmore important was that his plan succeeded. The only thing he needed to do now was get rid ofAlyssa and go back.

Meanwhile, several people remained hidden in the dense forest not far from the hill. They weremotionless and stood gazing at the camp.

Before long, a figure emerged from under the ground and stood in front of the people. With hishands clasped in front of him, he narrated, "Your Royal Highness, Rocky Bai plans to escape using asecluded area less than three miles away from the Timber Deity Empire's defense line. They plan touse the difficult terrain to throw off the Timber Deity Empire army."

It was Alston together with a few of his trusted subordinates. They followed the Crimson DragonArmy all this time.

"Really? Barry, give this information to the Timber Deity Empire as soon as possible,” Alstoninstructed the black-robed spirit manipulator who was standing behind him.

The black-robed spirit manipulator immediately disappeared

"When will the people you have arranged to deal with Rocky arrive?" Alston continued to ask.

"I got news that they will arrive tomorrow morning."

"Very well. Rocky, I will not let you escape this time," Alston said in a serious tone.

Meanwhile, Alyssa was focused on studying the terrain map inside her tent. Frustrated, sheremained clueless about Rocky's planned routes even after working on the map for the past fewdays. She knew Rocky could always replace hidden routes to get rid of her and her army. This filled herwith more hate and bitterness.

"Your Royal Highness, someone is here to see you. He says he has with him very importantinformation about the Crimson Dragon Army." An armed guard hurried in with the message."Information about the Crimson Dragon Army? Who is he?" Alyssa raised her head and asked theguard.

"I don't recognize him. He turned up out of nowhere.” The guard shook his head.

After a moment of hesitation, Alyssa ordered, "Bring him in."

The black-robed spirit manipulator entered the tent, surrounded by several guards.

"Who are you?" asked Alyssa. The black-robed spirit manipulator did not look weak, and was notfrom the Timber Deity Empire, so Alyssa remained cautious.

"It doesn't matter who I am, Your Royal Highness. I have a piece of information that will help youdefeat the Crimson Dragon Army," the black-robed spirit manipulator answered in a very calm tone."How can I be sure that you were not sent by the Crimson Dragon Army to deceive me?” Asexpected, Alyssa was doubtful of him.

"I am just a messenger. The choice is yours, Your Royal Highness. The Crimson Dragon Army willtake the route three miles away from the Timber Deity Empire's defense line to shake off your army.If you want to defeat the Crimson Dragon Army, this is the best time to arrange an ambush andfinish the entire force. They are ignorant and unsuspecting; they could easily fall into your trap.” Theblack-robed spirit manipulator delivered the information to Alyssa and left right after.

"Who is he?" After the black-robed spirit manipulator disappeared, Alyssa stayed inside the tent anddid not pursue him. His identity puzzled her and made her wonder why he shared the information.She suspected that it was one of Rocky's schemes, but then realized it was unnecessary for him toplay such a trick.

Alyssa was troubled. She was at a loss whether she should believe the information or not.

The next morning, Rocky continued to lead the army forward, while the Timber Deity Empire armychased after them closely. After a few days, Rocky and his army arrived at the said area. From abird's-eye view, the entire terrain was like a spinning top with complicated twists and turns. It wassurrounded by a dark, dense forest, and there were dangerous-looking streams and valleyseverywhere.

"Louis, it depends on you now," Rocky said to Louis. He knew only Louis could navigate through thecomplex terrain with absolute precision. They could not afford to get lost or go around in circles.They needed to get away from the Timber Deity Empire army as soon as possible.

Louis nodded. He took out a compass from his pocket and started leading the way.

After a few hours of walking, the spies watching behind them reported to Rocky that the TimberDeity Empire army was no longer chasing them.
