"I sent Sabina to replace Basil and protect him. Since then, I knew Rocky was Basil." Marcia turnedaround to reply to the emperor's question.

"Why didn't you tell me? Why did you send Sabina to protect him?" the emperor demanded.

"Your Majesty, the reason why I didn't tell you is because I thought Basil had done somethingunforgivable and that you hadn't forgiven him yet. So I didn't say anything, just in case. As forsending Sabina to protect Basil, it's because after he reached the Heavenly Stage, he broke the seal Ihad set in his body, making the Holy Dragon Bead's power in his body harder to control. I fearedthat the Holy Dragon Bead's power would go out of control again, so I sent Sabina to look for himand protect him. If his power went out of control, she could help him through the difficulty,” Marciaexplained.

It didn't take long for him to realize that the desert was rife with threats and was no less dangerousthan the Myriad Beasts Ground. Many flying spirit-manipulated beasts abounded in the air, swiftand fierce. Wild spirit-manipulated beasts at the four-star level could jump out of the sand at anymoment. Fortunately, they rarely came in groups. Otherwise, it would be near impossible for Rockyto survive in the desert.

Luckily, Rocky had integrated the evil spiritual power of the second layer of the seal and greatlyincreased his strength. It allowed him to narrowly escape danger each time. He was somewhathappy with the fact that the wild spirit-manipulated beasts in this desert were mostly all differentfrom all the wild spirit-manipulated beasts he'd seen before. Perhaps it was because of thegeographic division of the land, and so they offered him a precious pool of experiments.

He'd been walking in the desert for two or three days already, and yet he hadn't seen hide or hair ofanyone, let alone a city, even if he was many times faster than normal people.

"Hey, foodie!" Rocky called out, but the Rainbow Glow Unicorn continued to gallop forward, so hewas forced to catch up.

Once he reached the slope while chasing after the Rainbow Glow Unicorn, he could only gape at thesight that welcomed him. A tropical rain forest sprawled beneath the slope. It wasn't very thick but itwas apparent.

"We're finally out of the desert!" Rocky exclaimed and ran down to the tropical rain forest with theRainbow Glow Unicorn.

After they entered the rain forest, Rocky immediately headed to a small pond and gulped downwater with bright satisfaction on his face. He lived off the blood of the Deserted Sand Crabs, andwhile it was as good as fine wine, it turned sour on his tongue once he drank too much.

After the Rainbow Glow Unicorn also drank some water, they wandered through the forest andpicked up some fruits.

The tropical rain forest wasn't very peaceful as there were a lot of wild spirit-manipulated beasts,but they were much weaker than the ones in the desert. They were basically only at the one-star ortwo-star level. So their journey forward went smoothly as the low-star wild spirit-manipulatedbeasts disappeared without a trace at the first sign of the Rainbow Glow Unicorn's aura.

Two hours later, Rocky frowned when the peace was disturbed by the noise of a fight. He lookedaround and soon saw a thick coconut forest. A fine woman battled against a spirit-manipulatedbeast at the second grade of the three-star level, but she was obviously not a match because shewas at the fourth or fifth grade of the Earthly Stage at most. Even though the woman had partneredwith a spirit-manipulated beast at the second grade of the three-star level, she was still at adisadvantage.

Rocky couldn't see her face because she had her back to him.

Perhaps it was because the fight lasted for too long, her spiritual power felt weak. Soon, the beastmanaged to hit her right arm and leave a fierce injury.
