Rocky and Juey had been received by Lucas and entered the Cyan Dragon Hall.

"Mr. Rookie, Miss Juey, please have a seat,” Lucas greeted them as he signaled towards the seatsand asked people to serve them tea.

"Thank you, Master Lucas,” Rocky replied politely.

"Mr. Rookie, you must be wondering why I recommended you to the chief of the Cao Clan to attendthe Beast Master Contest on behalf of the Xiao Clan.” Lucas was quick to get to the point. He lookedat Rocky with stern eyes as he surveyed him.

But Rocky remained calm and composed. He even smiled at Lucas, as if to say that he was seriousand had nothing to hide. But Lucas was sure that Rocky was deliberately hiding his true strength.That was why Rocky caught his eye.

"Yeah, I'm a little confused," Rocky replied frankly.

"I think you already know the reason, Mr. Rookie," Lucas answered back.

"Are you referring to when I saved Miss Queenie, Master Lucas?" Of course, Rocky already knew thatLucas had seen through his true strength.

"Mr. Rookie, you said you saved Miss Queenie. What happened?" Juey asked immediately insurprise. She didn't know when and how he had saved Queenie. He mentioned nothing of theincident during the past few days.

"I have forgotten to thank you for saving Queenie's life, Mr. Rookie. The chief wants to thank youpersonally. That's why she invited you here," Lucas said in gratitude.

"Well, it was just a coincidence. I didn't actually plan on helping her," Rocky said, still keeping aplayful look on his face.

Hearing that, Lucas didn't say anything but smiled.

"Does Miss Queenie know that I'm here?" Rocky asked. Logically speaking, if Queenie knew that hewas here, she would be the first one to appear.

"I've asked the servants to not tell Queenie that you're here, but she will know later. Rest assured,Mr. Rookie, I guarantee that she'll do you no harm,” Lucas said solemnly.

"Oh, don't worry about me. I'm not worried about her. Besides, there is a favor that I would like toask of you, Master Lucas,” Rocky said with a smile.

"What is it?" Lucas was wary.

"The reason I came to the Cao mansion was that the chief of the Cao Clan said the Xiao Clan won'tbe able to take part in the Beast Master Contest if I don't come here and participate in the contestmyself. Hence, I had no choice but to come here in person. But I have to tell you that I won't attendthe Beast Master Contest, Master Lucas,” Rocky said seriously.

"Is that so? It's a shame. I really was looking forward to you attending the Beast Master Contest, Mr.Rookie, but it seems that you're not interested at all," Lucas said, disappointed.

"Master Lucas, I'm sorry to disappoint you,” Rocky said with a smile.

"Since you don't want to take part in the contest, I won't force you." Lucas didn't want to force theissue on Rocky.

"Instead, let me recommend someone to replace me and take part in the contest,” Rocky suddenlysaid.

Lucas’ face suddenly beamed when he heard this.

"I want to recommend Miss Juey of the Xiao Clan," Rocky said and turned to look at Juey to see herreaction.

Juey was flustered by Rocky's request. She blushed, waving her hands and said, "Are you joking, Mr.Rookie? I'm going to take part in the Beast Master Contest? You must be joking. I'm not qualified atall."

"Have you forgotten what you have promised me? You said you would agree to whatever I ask youto do. My first condition is that you must take part in the Beast Master Contest,” Rocky told Juey in aserious tone. If Juey didn't attend the Beast Master Contest, all his previous efforts would be in vain.Juey could do nothing but shut her mouth

"Mr. Rookie, are you sure?” Lucas was also in disbelief. He didn't understand why Rocky wouldrecommend Juey, as he knew she didn't have any talent when it came to beast curing

Rocky simply nodded and didn't see the need to explain his decision.

"If it is your will, Mr. Rookie, consider your request done, but on one condition,” Lucas said. Heagreed first, but then made a condition immediately.

"What is it?" Rocky knew Lucas wouldn't agree easily. After all, the Beast Master Contest was asignificant event for every clan in the Timber Deity Empire.

"I hope you can help the Cao Clan when needed,” Lucas said in a vague way.

"Master Lucas, you seem to have overestimated me. What can I do to help the Cao Clan?" Rockysaid modestly.

"Mr. Rookie, this is my only condition. I hope you accept it." In truth, Lucas was risking everything onthis request. He traded the quota of the Beast Master Contest for a mere possibility. If he did in factoverestimate Rocky, the consequences would be unthinkable.

"Master Lucas, you'd better not expect much from me,” Rocky said with a shrug. Although he didn'tsay yes directly, it was a tacit consent. After all, this was the only way he could get what he wantedwhich was to let Juey take part in the Beast Master Contest.

Of course, Rocky had already anticipated it. He could use this time to see Woods and ask him for areward for saving his life.

"Then I'll arrange two rooms for you in the wing house where the Xiao Clan members live," Lucasoffered now that Rocky had agreed to his term

"Don't bother. Just arrange a room for Juey. I can replace a place to live on my own.” Rocky felt that itwas inconvenient to keep staying in the Cao mansion. He'd rather live an idle life.

"Mr. Rookie, please stay!" Juey was happy to be with Rocky during the past few days. She hadalready learned how to perform simple surgical skills, but she still wanted to be with him. Hearingthat he'd leave her to be alone made her lash out like a spoiled child.

When Rocky saw that Juey didn't want him to leave, his heart immediately softened. He felt like heowed her something in his past life. Maybe he felt he owed Sue a lot, so he wanted to make it up toher by being nice to a girl who resembled her.
