As he raised his head to stare the hole in the ceiling, Tate's nails dug deep crescents onto his palm.When he brought his gaze down again, his expression became a sneer. "Send someone to the CaoClan and inform their chief."

On the other hand, the sky and the earth spun around Queenie as she tried to figure out whathappened. She found herself flying in the sky and the capital beneath her feet was as small aschildren toys. It wasn't long before she discovered that she was on a spirit-manipulated beast thatlooked like a kirin. It was charming yet arrogant, an exquisite lifelike statue. Based on her experienceand capabilities, she could immediately tell that it was unusual, obviously a spiritual beast.

"Is this yours?" Queenie tilted her head and curiously asked Rocky who sat behind her. She didn'texpect that Rocky would have a spiritual beast, much less one that she couldn't immediatelyrecognize.

However, Rocky was too annoyed that he didn't answer her.

"Just let it go! I'm sorry that I misunderstood you! But you shouldn't go to the Spirit Treasure Hall.Not all of it was my fault!" Queenie hurriedly explained when she saw the still furious expression onRocky's face. When she recalled what Rocky did to her, she quickly added, "We're even now."

Rocky was rendered speechless at how evasive she was in admitting her faults

"It's not my spirit-manipulated beast. It's my friend,” Rocky replied instead.

"Your friend? I've never heard of anyone who made friends with his spirit-manipulated beast. It mustbe a spiritual beast, right? Spiritual beasts that can fly are very rare. My spirit-manipulated beast justeats and sleeps all day long, it's stupid and slow..." She stroked Rainbow Glow Unicorn with no smallamount of envy.

If Queenie knew that Rainbow Glow Unicorn was a King Level beast that ranked third in the SpiritualBeast List, she would have been even more jealous.

"It's a pity that the Furious Ice Bear was raised like that,” Rocky sarcastically replied. Even though theFurious Ice Bear was a good Ice spiritual beast, she obviously raised and trained it wrong for it toturn into a lazy bear.

"I don't need your lesson!" Queenie grumbled. If she knew Rocky's real identity, she wouldn't dareto speak like this.

"Let's land here,” Rocky decided once they flew far enough away. He didn't want to stay a momentlonger with Queenie.

"No! Please take me flying a little bit longer! I've never been on a spiritual beast that could fly.”Queenie was nearly vibrating in her excitement. Although she'd seen countless spirit-manipulatedbeasts with Lucas from an early age, she rarely see flying ones. Even if she saw them, she wasn'tallowed to come near. After all, spiritual beasts were too powerful to tame, unless they were trainedat a young age. So it was a rare opportunity for her to ride a spiritual beast that could fly throughthe sky. This was a brand new experience for her.

"Why should I do as you said?" Rocky cocked a brow at her.

"You're so stingy! I promise I won't make any trouble. But... you have to promise me that you won'ttell my sister and master what happened back there, otherwise...” Queenie trailed off, finallyrealizing her blunder.

"You're so scared of your sister.” Rocky couldn't help but smile.

"I just don't want her to worry about me and I don’t want to mention Tate in front of her,” Queeniespat.

"Why?" Rocky asked, feeling that something more than what meets the eyes happened between theCao Clan and the Qi Clan.

"That's... because..." Despite her hesitation, Queenie was a straightforward person so what happenedten years ago eventually spilled from her lips.

Before Jacob, former chief of Cao Clan, spiraled into madness and was driven into a deathlike coma,the two clans had a good relationship. Their children, Lucilla and Tate, were even childhoodsweethearts. In order to consolidate the power of their large clans in the Timber Deity Empire, Jacobdecided to form an alliance with the Qi Clan through marriage. The grand wedding was originallyscheduled on Lucilla's 20th birthday. Although Queenie couldn't beconsidered young, she still acted like a child and did whatever she liked, even though she wasmature and contemplative when she was talking about her family’s past. Perhaps, for her, beingspoiled and childish was just a cover.

Unfortunately, Rocky wasn't in the mood to deal with her anymore and once they landed back atthe Cao mansion, he quickly sealed Rainbow Glow Unicorn away.
