After a few moments, the result of the first round was announced right on the spot. However, theresult was very unexpected. After the five judges discussed among themselves, they decided thatthe first round was a draw. This was because Carter and Rocky finished the evaluation at the sametime, and the identification data of the beast attribute were just the same.

As soon as the result was announced, the entire hall became wild again. There had never been aresult of a draw before in the history of the Beast Master Contest. However, that was not the mostsurprising part. What was really surprising was how the Cao Clan turned the tables just when theywere almost certainly defeated because of Queenie’s failure in the previous round. This twist to thecompetition was because of the appearance of a mysterious man—Rocky. A draw match showedthat Rocky obviously had the strength and ability to compete against Carter.

By this moment, everyone was curious about who Rocky really was and why he was so powerful.However, not a single person in the hall knew his true identity.

All of a sudden, the spotlight shifted from Carter to Rocky. Everybody talked about the mysteriousman among themselves in hushed voices.

The second round started as soon as the first round ended. At this moment, another spirit-manipulated beast was put in the huge cage on the round platform.

"It's just beginner's luck, boy. In this round, I'll make sure that you're out of dumb luck.” Carterdidn't expect that the result was going to be a draw. He felt ashamed of himself because he was notable to defeat a nobody. So he snorted at Rocky as a declaration of war against him. He was reallydriven to completely defeat him this time.

Surprisingly, Carter didn't use his Radiance Evaluation Skill. Instead, he walked straight to the cageand raised his palm. All of a sudden, his palm was wrapped by a strange colorful light. His palm thenturned into some sort of a magic hand that was able to control the movement of the spirit-manipulated beast.

"What is he doing? Is he doing the Stroking Evaluation Skill? That Skill he is showing is a unique skillof our clan!" At this moment, a beast evaluator of a clan suddenly stood up and shouted inamazement.

As soon as he was finished with what he was saying, the audience burst into an ear-splitting uproar.Everyone was dumbfounded by what was happening.

The Stroking Evaluation Skill was also a very famous Beast Evaluation Skill in the Wild Spirit Land.Moreover, it was more abstruse than the Radiance Evaluation Skill. However, the Stroking Evaluation Skilland the Radiance Evaluation Skill are from two different beast evaluating factions. It seems that hehas learned the Stroking Evaluation Skill by some suspicious and dirty tricks..." Lucas was surprisedat first by Carter's strength. But then he realized that Carter had learned two different BeastEvaluation Skills from two different factions at the same time, which appeared to be inconstant inhis own clan. And now, his surprise towards Carter's ability turned to dismay. In his opinion, themost important thing for a beast evaluator was to honor and respect his master and clan.

Of course, Carter's strength also made the Cao Clan more worried. The Cao Clan grew hope becauseof the previous round, but they had noticed that Carter obviously had held back and hid hisstrength in the former rounds. So, they shared the samesentiment with the Cao Clan. They believed that the outcome of the match was already set in stoneand that the victory would finally belong to them.

However, the Qi Clan had no idea that Rocky, who had also performed a more authentic StrokingEvaluation Skill, had once defeated Carter before.

Just when all of the people in the hall thought that Rocky would definitely lose the second roundbecause of his inferior skills, he walked slowly towards the cage and suddenly raised one hand justlike what Carter did. The palm of his hand shone brightly, too. It was a very similar scene to that ofCarter's Stroking Evaluation Skill. Carter was now standing on the opposite side of the cage. Both ofthem were performing the skill as if they were shooting two beaming balls into the beast.
