Chapter 878 The Two Spiritual Race Members

Rocky examined them carefully and discovered them to be hideous.

One of them was a dwarf with a rough face and fangs. His height was only half of a normal man'sheight and he even had a sharp tail behind him. The other one had a more normal look than hispartner, but his face was so rough and uneven as if it had been hit by something. He was dressed inleather clothes with a scale on his chest that was as big as a coin.

"It's strange. The smell was here not too long ago. How could they just suddenly disappear?” thedwarf asked immediately after landing.

"They must be somewhere nearby. Let's look for them separately,” the other replied.

Then, the two spiritual race members split up and disappeared in place.

When the two of them left, Alyssa was relieved. She looked up while smoothing her messy hair, andmet Rocky's eyes. She suddenly remembered that she was in his arms earlier and she felt a littleembarrassed.

"Which clan of spiritual race are they from?" Rocky asked curiously.

"They are from the Heavenly Demon Clan," Alyssa responded.

"Are they strong?" Rocky asked.

"They're just ordinary. However, they're not that easy to defeat for most of the spirit manipulatorsAnd their strength is only a bit weaker than mine,” Alyssa said contemptuously while her facelooked otherwise.

"If they're weaker than you, why did you run away as soon as you saw them? Why didn't you justbeat them up?" Rocky questioned as he sensed that something was on Alyssa's mind.

"It's none of your business!" she exclaimed impatiently.

"I know why you're afraid of them. It's because you don't think you can defeat them, do you?" heasked, deliberately provoking her.

"I'm not afraid if it's a one-on-one match. However, considering you're not helping me and thatwould make it a match of two versus one, it'll be tricky.” Surprisingly Alyssa wasn't angered byRocky's words.

"You can leave me here to fight them. Don't worry. I won't run away." Of course, Rocky didn't meanit. He actually had a plan prepared.

"I'll never leave you alone. Never again,” Alyssa muttered, almost as if one of them was facing adangerous threat and was about to die.

Her words stunned him. Anyone who heard this would think than Alyssa was confessing her love.But Rocky knew her well enough to know that he wouldn't misunderstand such words

"Don't get any wrong ideas. You're still of use to me, so I can't let you die just yet." Alyssa correctedherself at once, realizing that her words might be taken the wrong way.

Then they sank into a long silence. After a while. She closed her eyes for a moment before openingthem and saying, "They're gone. Let's go."

Hearing this, Rocky raised his eyebrows as he stood up and flicked the dust off his robe. Alyssastood up as well and adjusted her messy clothes. When she noticed him staring at her, sheimmediately rolled her eyes and asked, "What are you looking at? Be careful or I'll blow youreyeballs out!"

"Well, I've realized that you're not as annoying as I thought. In other words, if you don't play anytricks, I won't dislike you so much.” It appeared that Rocky was testing Alyssa's patience on purpose.Of course, he knew that Alyssa wouldn't hurt him because he was useful to her.

"Whether or not you hate me is none of my business. After all, I hate you just as much. So much, infact, that I can't wait to slaughter you!" she threatened him with a clenched fist. But before shecould finish her words, Rocky turned around and left.

"Hey, what are you doing? How dare you ignore me?" Alyssa's face flushed crimson with anger athis deliberate ignorance.

"They won't let you go easily. Let's leave this place first,” Rocky replied, his expression less mockingand more serious now.

Alyssa immediately nodded as she got her head around it. She nearly forgot that they needed toget rid of the two members of the Heavenly Demon Clan first.

Once they left the place, they continued to run forward deeper into the forest. It took them a whilebefore they finally came to a clearing. Alyssa tried to summon her spirit-manipulated beast for themto ride on and leave.

At that exact moment, a sudden gust of wind blew and tension immediately began to fill the air."They're coming!" Alyssa warned in shock. "Well, it seems that they just won't give up,” Rocky saidwith a frown. "Princess Alyssa, let's see if you can escape from us this time!" A horrible sounding crytaunted from the trees.

Along with the cry, a mysterious fog instantly engulfed the entire area and caused Rocky and Alyssato have difficulty seeing.

Quickly, two figures emerged from the dark fog like ghosts that gave off an eerie feeling.

"Why don't you just give up, Skyfall and Earthrise?" Alyssa asked them out of annoyance and anger.However, this wasn't the first time these two spiritual race members named Earthrise and Skyfallbothered her.

"Now, Princess Alyssa, we won't put you on the spot as long as you obey us and allow us to takeyour guardian beast Moon Fox back to our lord. After all, we're just following orders," Earthrise, thedwarf, explained with his face twitching and his mouth wide open like a wild boar. However, his eyeswere filled with lust as he stared at Alyssa. Although the spiritual race was strong and extraordinary,they still possessed the same desire as humans.

"I've already told you that I'm not giving up my Moon Fox," Alyssa answered coldly.

"The Demon Lord told us that if you were unwilling to submit, then we'd invite you to our HeavenlyDemon Clan where he will personally talk to you. However, the lord has no patience and isn't assoft-hearted as we are. He may be rude and use rougher means of convincing you. So please,Princess Alyssa, think over all of this and choose very carefully,” Skyfall threatened in a low, hoarsevoice.

"And what makes you so certain of your words? Take me back to your clan with just you two? I'mafraid you're both delusional!" Alyssa sneered.
