"Have you forgotten? You have to help me get rid of the curse. Do you think I'll let you get awaywith it so easily?” Alyssa looked at Rocky with condescending eyes, as if he was her slave whoshould follow whatever she ordered him to do.

"What are you going to do?" Rocky narrowed his eyes at her.

"Come with me." Alyssa swiftly left the room, and Rocky followed closely behind.

Very soon, the two black figures slipped out of the Cao Mansion without anyone noticing andheaded out of the city.

After leaving the capital, they turned into a secluded forest. In the darkness, a building that lookedlike an ancient temple soon came into view.

Alyssa rushed into the temple, followed by Rocky.

"Why does this look like an altar?" Rocky looked around and found that the old temple was full ofstrange decorations, such as the heads of cattle and sheep, with dim light and a chilling atmospherethat could make anyone tremble with fear.

In the center of the hall were some spiritual marks that had been engraved with blood. The smell ofblood lingered in the air, indicating that the marks had been inscribed not long ago.

"It is indeed an altar!" Alyssa answered, turning around.

"Are you going to use me as a sacrificial object to undo your curse?” Rocky guessed with greatinterest.

"I wish it could be that simple!" Alyssa rolled her eyes at Rocky.

"So why on earth did you bring me here?"

"To sacrifice you, of course!" Alyssa responded dramatically.

"Be serious. Do whatever you want to do quickly. I have other things to do!" said Rocky, lookingaround with feigned impatience.

"Today, I want to make sure if you really have something to do with getting rid of the curse on me.In the situations before, you appeared in very chaotic circumstances, so I might havemisunderstood.” Alyssa was a cautious person. Although she believed that Rocky had something todo with the curse on her body, she wanted to make sure, just in case.

"Then I'd better pray that I have nothing to do with your curse, so that I can return to the HolyDragon Empire right now," said Rocky teasingly.
