"It's definitely your style. But even so, I will fulfill my promise and try my best to help you removethe curse,” Rocky replied calmly.

"It can’t be removed if the two of us just sit here and do nothing.” Alyssa sighed.

"I have to leave now." Alyssa hesitated for a moment before vanished in the blink of an eye. Shedidn't want to be around Rocky for too long.

Fortunately, the refining process was periodic, so it didn't matter if the fire died out from time totime. He started the Positive Fire again and then went back to his room to write down his plan.

A few hours later, he returned to the round furnace and added some corrosive liquid into it. Thiswas the last time that he would add the liquid. In just twelve hours, he would enter the last stage ofthe refining process, which involved refining the Beast Spiritual Pill that had absorbed all theelements in the liquid into a crystal that could absorb spiritual power.

In the afternoon, Woods secretly sent Rocky a message saying that he wouldn't come over for a fewdays because he had something important to attend to. Rocky asked the messenger to relay hisplan to Woods.

Then, he realized that it was already noon but Queenie was still nowhere to be seen. "That's strange.She has been punctual for the last few days. Why hasn't she come yet today?"

About two hours later, Queenie finally arrived

"You haven't learned much, but you have learned to be late,” Rocky said sarcastically as Queeniewalked up to him.

She threw up her hands in frustration and groaned. "My sister's birthday is coming soon, so I had toaccompany her to get a new set of clothes made. It takes a lot of time to choose the material,measure her size, and then decide many other details,” she explained in an aggrieved tone.

"Chief Lucilla's birthday is coming soon?" Rocky asked curiously. "Yes.

On her birthday, our clan will hold a banquet to celebrate, and many important people from theTimber Deity Empire will be invited. As the chief of our clan, my sister can't wear shabby clothes,”Queenie explained, once again stressing that she had a reason for being late.

"I think you just wanted an excuse to slack off, didn't you?" Rocky asked, raising his eyebrows with asmirk. He could see right through her. With her personality, she would go crazy if she had to facethose stinky carcasses all day long, so it made sense for her to want to slack off.

"Why would I slack off?" Queenie asked immediately, but she blushed, feeling a little embarrassedthat Rocky had read her mind.

"Never mind. Don't be late again. If you really have something to do, you have to ask for leave inadvance. If you can't replace me, leave me a note,” Rocky instructed. He didn't want to make a fuss.Queenie frowned and nodded. "Okay." She found it strange that he hadn't taken the opportunity tomake things difficult for her.

It was similar to Positive Fire, but it was based on the spiritual power at the Supernal Stage.Although Rocky had not reached the Supernal Stage, he could use the power sealed in the thirdlayer to temporarily reach the stage and produce Negative Fire.

Standing in front of the round furnace, Rocky mentally recalled the method of refining NegativeFire.
