Chapter 259

The man who had whistled earlier laughed when he heard this. He said, 'Declan, even though we race and it seems like we're the bad guys, we'd never actually insult or trample a pretty girl like her.

You're her brother, and to save your skin, you're willing to let her be taken advantage of. That's just evil, way worse than anything we've ever done. After tonight, there's no place for someone like you in our group." Hearing this, Declan became grim. He said, "If it weren't for you guys jumping me and demanding 300 thousand dollars, none of this would have happened.

He thought, 'If things got too tough, I would have to call Jennifer Jennifer said that because of Natalie, Jason is crippled, and Vance is missing. It is all Natalie's fault. She better not survive the night.

The night was deep, and the wind was biting cold. An exciting car race was kicking off on the track. Not far away, a large screen was showing the race.

As the race started, the roar of the engines was deafening. Two cars shot out like arrows released from a bow. In an instant, the tires screeched against the ground, creating wisps of smoke. Natalie's red car was zigzagging.

Seeing this, a boy couldn't help but laugh. He said, "Yeah, she can drive, but slower than a turtle. Mr. Wright is almost at the finish line already."

Declan sneered, "What a clown, a disgrace to the Simpsons."

A man said, "What do you know? The bet says that if she loses the race, she needs to be Mr. Wright's secret lover for a year. Maybe Natalie wants to be Mr. Wright's girl."

Another guy crossed his arms and said, "With looks like that, Mr. Wright wouldn't be actually losing anything. If it were me, I wouldn't mind either. She's pretty, has a great figure, and is gutsy. She'd make a great wife." The guy speaking was quite handsome, wearing a white casual shirt and black pants, exuding youthful charm.

Not far away, Easton watched the whole scene, his gaze intense. He glanced at the big screen and realized that Natalie's car was far behind.

He thought, 'Could it be that she really wants to be George's woman, and that's why she agreed so quickly?'

"Natalie, your ambitions are quite big," Easton murmured as he glared at Natalie, his eyes full of anger.

Through the screen, Natalie's actions in the driver's seat were clearly visible. Her movements seemed awkward like she didn't really know how to drive a race car.

One person said, "Mr. Wright is definitely going to win."

Another man said, "Declan, tonight your family is going to be a joke. Racing when she can't even drive? You'll be the laughingstock in this circle forever."

Declan watched Natalie's embarrassing moves and wished he could just run over and strangle her.

A man shouted, "Mr. Wright is about to win!" He turned to a nearby bodyguard and said, "Go grab a case of beer, then get some barbecue ready. We're celebrating Mr. Wright's big night." The bodyguard nodded and turned around to get ready.

However, something completely unexpected happened. Out of nowhere, the snake-like red sports car suddenly seemed to

take flight, skillfully dining around the curve. The car's body narly skinned along the tracks edg

From the big screen, it was obvious that Natalle's car was at fulleed, the engine's roar echoing through the skies. Every gear shif every turn showcased her amazing driving skills.

At the most challenging sequence of bends, Natalie raced through tricky spots with excellent control.

Everyone watched in amazement.

The blue race car that had vanished from view appeared once again.

Seeing George's car appear, everyone held their breath in anticipation.

Natalie's car was tremendously fast, and her quick gear shift was lizzying. She was attempting a last-minute overtake.

A man shouted with excitement, "Oh my gosh, she was pretending not to know how to drive because she wasn't familiar with the car, but now it's like her car is flying."

Seeing the flashy red sports car overtake the blue one on the tenth curve, the crowd was so shocked that their eyes almost popped out.

Easton was astonished to realize that Natalie really knew how to race. He felt ashamed of his earlier thoughts and was angry at himself for still not fully trusting Natalic.

The most surprised was Declan. He had always thought Natalie was useless. Skills like that weren't developed overnight. He'd been training since he was twelve but hadn't achieved such impressive skills.

The man standing beside Declan asked in astonishment, "Declan, are you kidding us? You said your sister was a nobody, but what's going on now? Her driving skills surpass those of a championship racer."

Declan was equally shocked. His voice was shaky with disbelief as he said, "I... I don't know. I've never seen her drive before. Honestly, I've never seen her in a race car." He doubted if the woman in the car was actually Natalie. Natalie's level of skill and endurance was enough to compete in the world's top endurance championships:

In the championship, each race lasted from six to twenty-four hours, testing technical skills, endurance, and balance at the highest level.

Declan couldn't believe that Natalie's familiarity with racing cars was beyond his. He was even more reluctant to admit that Natalie was better than him.

George was also shocked. The red sports car he had left behind suddenly overtook him. And now Natalie's red sports car was nowhere to be seen.

The car he was driving had the best performance, while the red car Natalie was driving had the lowest performance. Natalie's car had already reached the finish line. And George was a full minute and thirty seconds behind her. Everyone was stunned by the result. Their faces were burning with embarrassment from their previous words. Seeing that George had lost, Natalie got in the car and drove it back to its original spot, parked it, and got out. George stepped out of the cockpit with a gloomy face. Up until this moment, it had felt like a dream-he had lost. Yet, he was completely convinced.

He looked at Natalie and said with admiration, "Natalie, you drive well."

Natalie replied, "It's just okay. Is it because my brother is the champion of the World Racing Championship that I'm this good."

Declan frowned, wondering. When do I become the champion of the World Racing Championship?

George glanced at Declan with doubt. He asked, Him? A loser. How could he become the champion of the World Racing Championship

Natalie sneered, too lazy to even look at Declan. She said, 'Does he even deserve that?? I'm talking about someone else'

Declan was at a loss for words, his face turning red with embarrassment

Natalie smiled and said. "Mr. Wright, I won. It's time to fulfill your promise

George chuckled as he assessed Natalic. He thought, 'With her skills, if we bring her into the team, our chances of winning future races would be much higher

He sincerely offered, "Ms. Shawn, there's no issue with the land. Are you interested in joining our tearn?"
