Natalie replied with a grin, "Jennifer, isn't it obvious? This evidence will help me file for divorce and get a big settlement. You are giving me money, so of course, I have to thank you properly Jennifer replied, "Natalie, you're... you're shameless."

Natalie said, "Shameless? Why didn't you call yourself shameless when you framed me? You should have known I'm not someone to mess with. I put up with it before because of those heartless people in the Simpson family. "Declan has been running a high fever for three days, and none of you bothered to check on him. Natalie was startled, her laughter stopping suddenly. She looked up at Easton. She complained inside, 'He moves like a ghost, without a sound.

She said, "Who wouldn't be happy after getting revenge? But I'll be even happier once you're out of my life because I can have many handsome men in my harem." She was so pleased she almost lost herself in pride. Hearing this, Easton's face turned dark. He said, "Do you really hope I die that much?"

Natalie replied, "That's right. Do you remember what I told you earlier? I survived to watch you and Jennifer destroy each other. I want my revenge. So when you said I'd become a widow it will come true. "Everything you've done to me, every insult, I remember clearly Easton spoiled her good mood. She sat down with a serious look and said, "Let's eat."

Easton sat across from Natalie, looking at her. He noticed the hatred in her eyes was strong. She truly wished he and Jennifer were dead.

Natalie ignored Easton and focused on preparing the dishes she enjoyed.

Seeing Natalie like this, Easton felt helpless. The hatred born from love lost was terrifying. She wanted to watch him die.

Natalie took a bite of her favorite dish, her eyes full of joy. Her phone rang again. She glanced down and quickly picked it up. She said, "Hey, Jacob." Jacob asked, "Natalie, have you eaten yet?"

Natalie blinked. She wondered why Jacob suddenly called her. His care made her feel warm. She replied, "Jacob, I'm having dinner right now. Have you eaten?" Hearing Natalie's cheerful voice, Jacob chuckled. He replied, "Natalie, I've eaten already. Are you alright?" His voice sounded a bit cautious.

Natalie replied, "I'm fine, just enjoying my dinner. You just focus on your classes."

Jacob said, "Alright! I'm relieved as long as you're fine."

Natalie said, "Don't worry, no one can push me around."

After chatting with Jacob for a while, Natalie hung up.

Easton put down his fork. He looked at her beaming face and frowned. He asked, "Is he that concerned about you?"

Natalie replied, "Why? Can't I have people care about me?" Her look was icy.

Seeing her cold and distant gaze, Easton felt a piercing pain in his chest. He said, "I didn't mean it like that..."

Natalie said, "Easton, my life is not for you to dictate. I'm here because you threatened me. One day, James will grow up." After saying that, she lowered her head to eat.

Then, she added, "If you don't accept the child as yours, Jennifer might keep bothering you. I think you should figure out your responsibilities soon."

She picked up her phone and played Jennifer's message for Easton. She said, "Listen carefully, Jennifer said the child is yours. Easton, do you know how adorable a kid is? How can you let people gossip about your own child?" Natalie thought that with the record, maybe Easton should just go ahead and divorce her.

Easton didn't say anything. He just continued eating his meal. After a few bites of his salad, he said, "Send me a copy of the recording."

Natalie gave him a sly smile. She said, "I understand. It's the voice of your beloved; you want to hear it as often as possible every day."

Her words momentarily took aback Easton, his deep eyes staring at Natalie. He thought, 'Is that how she sees it?' But seeing the mischievous glint in her eyes, his rising anger quickly faded away.

"Is crazy stuff all you think about all day?" Easton held back his anger, speaking through clenched teeth.

Natalie sent him the recording and said, "Of course, I spend all day thinking about how to divorce you. Jennifer keeps sending me evidence, and I'm thrilled. If she replaces out we're living together, our next stop is the courthouse." Natalie stopped talking because the more she spoke, the angrier she became. She had finally prepared a stew and couldn't let Easton spoil it and make her leave the table.

She dared to say those things because she was not afraid of anything anymore. She had already faced death once. She couldn't let herself be too oppressed anymore.

To speak freely was what she desired. In her past life, her patience only led to a tragic end.

Natalie focused on enjoying her meal.

Although Easton didn't have much of an appetite because of his bad mood. Seeing Natalie eat with enjoyment made him feel hungry too. He was enduring a lot of pain and had considered letting her go.

"Easton," Jennifer's voice came through the phone, full of surprise and delight.

Easton's gaze was cold and deadly. His voice was icy as he asked, Did you tell Natalie that you were pregnant with my child?"
