19: "You"

The next day we went by the school day like before. Bambi and I sat at our regular table, pretending to dislike everyone but each other. Sasha and Daniel still fake that love is still in the air. We plan a meeting after school to the library. Ten minutes before lunch was over Sasha’s walk up to are tabled.

“Yes.” I said looking up at her.

“Well, lover boy over there want’s you to stop taunting him.” She said with a smirk.

I look up at her then over my shoulder to Daniel. He was laughing with his friends, but he eyes were looking over at us. I shook my head with a smile looking back up to Sasha. Bambi and her were actually talking about us.

“There like those teens in movies and books. They won’t confess their love for each other until someone almost died or something bad happens.” Bambi was saying to Sasha.

“True.”

“You guys don’t even know what’s going own between us, so stop talking. What you doing over here anyway?” I ask Sasha.

“Those girls are boring over there. When can we solve this and stop all this pretending?” She asked.

“Did Haven sent for…” I cut Bambi off.

“Hold up! What I heard is that you Sasha, thinks I’m pretty cool.” I said with an overjoyed smile.

She rolled her eyes looking over to Bambi. “No, I think she’s on to us.”

“Maybe, but if she is we might need to get you out of Reborn Academy.” Bambi suggested.

“I don’t know. Let’s talk about this later.” I told them with a wave of my hand.

“Fine, but to make things clear I don’t like you.” Sasha said before walking off.

“Stop being in denial like Daniel.” I told her with a smirk.

When I set foot in the gym for my private training, Mr. Hall wasn’t there. I look around the gym in confusion. He didn’t leave a note or inform me of no session today. I grab my bag from the floor walking out the gym, but something on the door caught my eye. Tearing the piece of paper under the door. Scanning the note I can feel my mouth dropping. I rush through the gym door towards my dorm room. I pack up a duffel bag full of things that I would need.I sent a message to Daniel and Bambi telling them to pack and meet me in my room. Bambi is going to get Sasha since I don’t have any contact information for her. Ten minutes later, a knock came on my door. I open it to replace Daniel staring back at me.

“That was quick.” I said letting him in.

“Was already packed. What came up?” He asked looking down at me.

I pointed over to my desk before going back to what I was doing. I watch him in the corner of my eyes walking over to my desk. He picked up the paper reading it before looking over to me.

“The sign to go looking after my father.” I said looking to him.

“Where did you replace this?” He asked coming over to me.

“Mr. Hall wasn’t in the gym today, so I decided to just leave. It was on the gym door.” I told him.

“I wonder who put it there, cause this could be Havens doing.”

“She wouldn’t have known about this, but Mr. Hall has a connection to my father. The note has him all over it.”

He looked back down at the note before reading it out loud.

“This is what you’ve been waiting for. You know where to look for all you have to is open your eyes.” Daniel said out loud.

That’s when my room door open Bambi and Sasha came walking in. They look between us with bags thrown over their shoulders. Sasha took the paper from Daniel’s hands reading it before handing it to Bambi.

“The sign. Do you know where to look?” She asked looking to me.

“Yeah, you guys ready for this? It’s not going to be easy to get where we’re going.”

They all look to each other a small coming to their face.

“This is what we’ve been training for.” Bambi said with a smirk.

Daniel leads us out of the academy grounds. He took a different way, but we end up at the same location. Now that I’m gone the ambush that Haven’s setup shouldn’t happen tomorrow. One thing that could happen is. Them coming after us. So getting as far as we can from the academy is best bet. When we finally got to the door Daniel help us out into the evening night. This time instead of one motorcycle two was hiding behind the bushes.

“How do you do it?” I ask Daniel out loud.

“Well, the second one was supposed to be for you.” He told me walking by me to get the bikes.

I look after him, he was going to let me ride my own bike. I don’t even know how to ride a motorcycle, and he was going to let me behind one. I turn to Bambi and Sasha.

“Do either of you know how to ride a bike?” I ask them.

“Please, my uncle was a biker.” Bambi told me.

With that we got off the road, Bambi and Sasha on one bike and me and Daniel on the other. The plan was to go home and get some rest. Then we’re going to drag my mom to replace my dad. The ride to the airport went smooth and the plane ride. A car was waiting for us at the airport. Daniel has to have good connection to be able to have rides everywhere he goes.

“So this is your hometown.” Sasha said looking out the window.

“Yeah. Where you from?” I ask her.

“Here. Don’t remember much since I was sent off to Reborn Academy when I was five.” She told me.

“Funny.”

The conversation was kept to a minimum the way to my home. My mom’s car wasn’t there when we pulled into the driveway. She must be out doing something. I figured everyone was tired, so I gave Daniel the guest room that he stayed in the last time. Bambi and Sasha took my room, and I took my mom’s bed. When she comes back home, she wouldn’t be to spooked to see me in her bed, but then again, I’m supposed to be at the academy. I choose to sleep on the couch instead and surprise her tomorrow.

Something woke me up in the middle of the night. I sat up throwing the covers off me. Looking around the living room I move into the kitchen. I figured it was my mom just coming home from where ever she was. I called out for her walking in order to replace it empty. I turn to looking into deep red eyes. I flinch looking over the cold person standing in front of me. Before I could react, he shoved me across the kitchen. I slam against the wall with a grunt bouncing of the counter to the floor. I reach back to feel blood on the back of my head. I get up to my feet, but was instantly flying through the air hitting a wall again.

“Stop doing that!” I grunted getting up to my feet quicker this time.

I look up to see two of them standing in front of me. They both had a smile on their face. Both were tall with big muscles. They wore black clothes, which made their white skin stand out. I took a deep popping my shoulders.

“What do you. Guys want?” I ask looking at both.

“You.”

They both came after me with full force. I dodge one of their blows kicking him hard in the stomach before getting punch on the face. I stumble back but kept my balance grabbing the pan from the stove hitting it over his head. I duck barely missing the other guy’s fist. Upper cutting him with the pan, I elbow him in the stomach. I heard footsteps from the stairs in the distance, as I was grabbed from behind. Fangs stick in my neck but were instantly refrained. I was thrown into the ground hard.

“Anglia!” I heard Daniel yell somewhere.
