Chapter 1223 Weird Habit

"Well, just now. I found my necklace in her purse. She's a thief!" Karen impatiently said.

"That means you didn't see her steal from you, right?" Kisa replied.

"I told you. My necklace was found in her purse. Isn't that enough to show that she is a

thief?"

Kisa nodded with a smile and answered, "So, according to you, whoever has the necklace in their bag is a thief?"

"Isn't that how it works?" Karen snorted coldly. Kisa smiled and looked at the floor. There were two bags on the ground. Looking at the material and color of the purses, it was immediately recognizable that the bright red bag belonged to Karen. On the other hand, Lea's bag was in a simple and plain white design.

Kisa picked up the red purse, and Karen instantly frowned. She rushed over and said, "What are you doing?"

When Karen came to snatch her bag away, Kisa secretly unclasped her bracelet and slipped it into Karen's purse while no one was paying attention. Karen patted her purse in distaste as if her bag had become dirty after Kisa touched it. Kisa smiled lightly and said, "Why are you so nervous? I picked the bag up because I was afraid that it would get dirty on the floor." As she spoke, she picked up Lea's purse and returned it to her.

Carrie frowned and spoke up, "We are talking about Ms. Reyes's stolen necklace. Did you pick up the bag on purpose to distract everyone's attention?"

"Yeah..." The people started to follow.

At that moment, Anthony and Jane did not dare to make a sound. They were scared of getting into trouble. Mrs. Mullen Sr. just watched with a cold gaze while Kisa sneered. Suddenly, Kisa pretended to be in shock. "Ah! My bracelet is gone!"

The people around them were taken aback once again. Karen and Carrie stared at her coldly. "What the hell are you on about?" Kisa touched her slender wrist, pretending to be anxiously looking for her bracelet on the ground. Her acting skills were immaculate. Everyone then subconsciously looked down to help her replace the bracelet.

"Oh no! That bracelet was a gift from a friend. It's very significant to me. Please help me replace it!" Kisa said anxiously and went to snatch Karen's bag away from her.

"What are you doing?!" Karen yelled fiercely.

"I thought about it. The person I had the most contact with at this banquet today was you. We fought, so I suspect that you stole my bracelet.”

"You must be crazy. Why would I, the dignified daughter of the Reyes family, possibly steal your worthless bracelet?" Karen laughed disdainfully.

"Who knows, maybe you have a weird habit of stealing. I have to search your bag to see for myself."

"Why? What right do you have to search my bag?!" Karen roared in anger. "Then, what right did you have to search my friend's bag earlier?" Kisa sneered.

Karen was at a loss for words. Kisa did not continue to argue with her. Instead, she just snatched her purse away. Although Karen was not happy about it, she knew she did not steal her bracelet, so she let her have it. She looked at Kisa and Lea coldly and said, "I'm telling you, if you fail to replace your cheap bracelet in there, you and your lowly friend will have to kneel in front of me and apologize."

"Oh, what's this?"
