Chapter 32: Disclosed Prophecy

LYRA'S POV

"How can we extract her powers. She is the chosen one the prophecy talked. I have confirmed it," the pale looking creature spoke.

"Let's speak to the elders," the other one smiled revealing his blue tongue and sending shivers down my spine.

I looked around trying to figure out where I was but I could not. My replace felt foggy and everywhere started to become blurry and then I blacked out. KYLE'S POV

"What do you mean you don't know where she was? How could you let them take her?! you said you were going to hid her! you were her guardian!" I shouted at Aria from anger I couldn't comprehend that Lyra was kidnapped.

"I tried... I took her to our witch's hideout I didn't expect them to replace her there the place is masked with magic and I also masked her. she was supposed to look different to them. I don't understand what happened to her. I don't know how they recognized her," Aria shivered as she broke down in tears.

"It's fine. We will replace out where she is. I need you to take me to the last place you saw her," I said to Aria.

I wondered what those people needed with Lyra. They probably know something I don't. I need to replace out who Lyra really is. That is the only way this will make sense.

"Aria, you need to tell me the truth. Who is Lyra? I need to know who she is. Why would these people need her? what do they want from her? that would help us to get more clue and piece things together." I tried to convince Aria to tell me about Lyra.

"I.. I can't tell you. I don't think it's time for you to hear things about her," Aria said unsure.

"I need you to tell me, okay! You may not trust me but I will never let any harm come to Lyra. I love her. I love her and I won't be able to live with myself if anything happens to her," I said sincerely and I am sure she saw how sincere I was because she started to look conflicted.

"I have to be careful. You may be in love with her now but you will hurt her later. The Queen mother said so and she is never wrong," Aria said to me looking like she didn't know what to do.

"We will deal about that alter. Let's deal with this now. Who is Lyra?" I asked again.

"She is the daughter of Alpha Zeus. Yes, people think she is dead but she reincarnated to stop Ryker and every form of evil," Aria said and my heart suddenly felt heavy.

I felt like I have been hit in the gut.

"That means they took her because they want her powers?" I reasoned.

"That's highly possible." Aria nodded.

"Okay this is what you will do. You are going to ask your witch friends if there is any new power source around like something unusual because I am sure those things are unlike anything we know." I said. "That's brilliant! I will communicate with them now," Aria said and started chanting some foreign words while we walked through the woods.

We reached a bushy dead end but I knew it was a glamour spell because I was a hybrid, I could feel the energy. I am very sure no other creature would have sensed it but I can because I am made like that.

Aria waved her hand over the bushes and we passed through the enchantment and I saw a castle like building. The witches haven.

"Let's survey the area anything you see that is not normal, alert me." I told Aria as we walked into the building.

We looked around and we figured that Lyra was most likely taken in the living room because that was the only place that showed sign of struggle.

I felt proud because I knew that she put up fight.

"Okay, lets check here," I whispered to Aria in case they left anyone of their people here.

"Kyle, come see this," Aria called out to me and I ran to where she was to see a dark liquid on the floor.

"What is this?" I asked her because I didn't know.

She placed her hand on it and her eyes turned white, she gasped and she fell to the floor foaming in her mouth.

I quickly removed her hand from the substance and she calmed down. After an hour she woke up and she looked at me with tears in her eyes. "What did you see?" I asked her.

"T.. t. those people are not from this world. They are evil species that was banished to the under world because of their greed for power. They want to use Lyra's blood to make themselves strong." Aria said. "Is that possible?" I asked feeling some type of fear.

"I don't know but based on the way they were talking, it is possible. They found and ancient book that involves a blood ritual that would do a power exchange between them and Lyra." Aria said. "Do you know where they are right now?" I asked hopefully.

"They mentioned some type of base. I suspect it is here somewhere but if it is in the underworld then I fear for Lyra's life because that means the underworld already has a crack and the evil species that was banished by the divinities to the underworld because of the irregularities they caused in the world can come out.

The frightful part is that they would all know about Lyra and her powers by now because of the boastful of the poaters." Aria finished and chill passed through my body.

"Poaters?" I asked.

"Yes, the species that took her. they have extremely pale skin with very dark hair that looks drenched and purely black eyes. They tongue is blue and they tend to be inhumanely tall." Aria explained. "If all you said is true then, we are in big, big trouble."
