REBORN UNDER THE FULL MOON -
Chapter 51: Alliances And Revelations
He nodded like he understood but I knew he didn't. he only saw me as incompetent and I'd like to say I didn't care but I did.
"Okay then, I will send Darcai to track her. I think he will do a better job," he said looking at me to see my reaction.
"I... um.. okay then," I said and turned around walking out of his warehouse.
"Okay Trago, how are we go to about the tracking of this girl?" Ryker asked curiously.
"I will do that. take care of training your soldiers." Trago the lord of the demons said as he walked away.
"Why is he so arrogant and rude? He could include me in his plans but it's fine though. I'm not complaining," Ryker said out loud as he went about checking what was new.
"Do you really think that the demons are here to help you? Because every other species know not to work with the demons. They are uncontrollable. Yes. They are acting well now but for how long will they act properly?" Kyle asked his father as some other people from rogue pack agreed with him.
"I don't need to control them. We have a deal. I give them a place to stay and they kill track and kill the girl and they have already started with their end of the bargain. Our sponsors wants the girl dead and I heard her blood will give so much power. I have a good plan, I just need the demons to kill the girl and everything will be set," Ryker said with a smug look on his face.
"Alpha, one of the demons just killed a pack member," A guard ran in saying.
"What?" Ryker asked as he stood up with a shocked look on his face while Kyle stared at him with a knowing look. LYRA'S POV
"Argh, I'm so tired. The training with Lacienda had been getting tougher, I don't even have time to sleep while I'm asleep because I am training in my dream and when I wake up, I have to do the exact same thing I just finished doing in my dream to master the skill." I complained to Merida who was laughing.
"Coffee?" She asked as she made coffee for herself.
"Mhmm" I nodded.
"Are you ready for the full moon?" Merida asked.
"I don't have to change if I don't want to. That's one of my powers. So, I don't think I will turn into my wolf because I cannot go outside," I explained to Merida.
"I know, but that is not what I mean. I mean that are you ready to meet Lacienda in her human for in our wolf and not your dreams?" Merida said.
"What are you talking about? Lacienda in her human form?" I asked confused.
"Yes, your book will change to its human self every full moon to train you," Merida explained.
"Is that how your book is too?" I asked curiously.
"No, yours is different. Lyra you are special. We don't get the same things. You were sent on a special mission by the queen mother while I am just a witch.. we ....." "Ahhh!" Aria screamed as she came into the living room.
"Oh queen mother! Aria what is going on with you," Lyra ran to her and Aria shouted.
"Stay back. Stay fucking back and get your grimoire. No get the ancient grimoire and get the dirty demon out of me!" Aria screamed and I gasped.
"Demon?" I questioned.
"Yes, he was sent to look for you and he thought I was an easy target well now he will meet his death. I trapped him inside me and made him to get stuck in a time loop, now he can't communicate with the other demons and he is stuck. Merida will use a purging spell to purge out of me but not before I kill him," Aria explained to me as her skin grew darker and black vein popped out of her body.
She started chanting some words and soon I could hear screaming but it wasn't hers. It was the demon inside her that was screaming as if t was being burnt in fire.
Merida came quickly and said the purging spell but only half of the dead demon came out.
"Oh no, no, no. I need to get the entire thing out Aria or she would turn too," Merida said as Aria fell to the ground growling her eyes turning red. Like that of a demon.
"The ancient grimoire," Merida said as she rushed inside Aria room to get it.
She came back outside looking like she wanted to cry.
"What is going on?" I asked feeling confused.
"I do not understand the spell, it is in a language I cannot read and if I cannot understand it, I cannot see magic in it and the way magic works you have to believe it for it to work." Merida explained as tears pooled in her eyes. "There has to be something else. Let me see it," I said to Merida as she passed me the grimoire.
"I understand it,” I said instantly as I looked at the book.
"You do?" Merida looked at me surprised.
"Yes, I do." I said then I started reading it out and the remaining parts of the demon was purged out of Aria while she screamed and started coughing out a black liquid.
"You must be a part witch," Merida looked at me in surprise.
"What?" I repeated as I laughed at what she just said.
"You have witch blood. It is not dominant, but it is there. No wonder the queen mother chose you to save everyone. You are partly a witch. And you are probably a witch from the north because only witches of the north understand that grimoire.
That is why you are so powerful and everyone is after you for your blood!" Merida pieced everything together looking at me with wide eyes and we both turned to face Aria because she is a north witch so she would have known.
