Chapter 54: Merging Timelines

POV

He slowly stopped fighting the Queen mother as he faced me, but I realized something. Even he too was in pain so was the queen mother.

The queen mother stared at me like I had caused a great problem in history because somehow, I had merged my timeline with Lacienda's.

Her face contorted in pain as she opened a portal. "Go through it and try to maintain this energy until you reach where you stay. Tell Aria and Merida to recreate the location spell to vanished your location," she said to me in an inhumane voice.

The portal opened up and I quickly ran into it and the portal closed up. I fell into the house and I looked around to see Aria and Merida on the floor groaning in pain.

"Aria! Merida!" I rushed to them. I was about to explain what the queen mother said to me when they told me that they knew already.

They crawled up and started trying to perform the spell while they were still in pain. I wanted to lower my energy for a bit but they both looked at me with warning telling me that they will manage.

They started chanting the spells and finally they were done with it. I started to lower my energy little by little and soon color started to show on their face.

"What was that?" Aria asked not understanding why I released so much energy.

"Lacienda, she took me to her last battle. I watched her die," I explained as tears came to my eyes.

"Your magic broke through everything. It even affected the spirits," Merida said.

"What?" I asked as I remembered that my power affected the queen mother and colossal god too.

"Yes, anything that is under magic or the influence of a species magic has been broken right now," Aria said.

"I think it affected the queen mother and colossal god too. He recognized me," I explained to them.

"What? He did?" they asked in unison.

"Yes, that was when the queen mother made a portal for me to escape because he was walking towards me. I merged our time lines," I said to them.

"How did you do that? We could have been in crazy trouble. Our house was almost visible to the other species," Merida said.

"Yes, it was shocking that that amount of power could come from you but it was also very scary. I was...."

"Lyra," a voice called from behind me and I turned around to see the spirit.

Aria and Merida bowed their heads, I didn't understand why so I didn't bow my head.

"Lacienda has finished her path, I am also very impressed by the show of energy today. The type of chaos you emit is amazing, I have never seen anything like it. Alexis will help you train on how to manage your chaos," She smiled at me like a proud mother and I felt warm all over. I reached forward and hugged her receiving gasps from the people behind me but she hugged me back.

"This is Alexis," she said presenting a new book to me.

"Good bye my great one. I am proud of you," she said touching my cheek then she disappeared.

"You hugged her! she hugged you back!" Merida gasped.

"From the look on you face it is not the first time?" Aria looked at me with wide eyes.

"Yes, it is not the first time. Why do you look so shocked?" I asked them not understanding what was going on in their minds.

"You just hugged a spirit! They do not like being touched." Aria explained.

"Yes, they are extremely unfriendly and they do not like human contact at all. They try to avoid us and don't talk to us at all. When we were in the house to get our books, we were isolated," Merida explained. "Really?!" I asked surprised and they nodded.

"I had dinner with them every night and I communicated with them everyday," I said shocked my own experience was different from theirs.

"They like you," Merida smiled at me.

I entered my room and saw Lacienda was no longer there. I cried knowing I would miss her but her time was over and she was a very good teacher to me. Time for me to learn about my magic and how to use it. I opened Alexis.

Turns out Alexis was a different witch like me. We didn't need herbs like Aria or Merida. We didn't need a grimoire too. All we needed was focus and will power.

We were the spells and that was amazing.

That night, when I slept Alexis appeared to me.

"This is our first class," she said. She explained the basics to me and told me everything I would need. She was also very funny and told me she wanted to explain this to me herself that is why her book was very empty. We appeared at a garden.

"Is it safe for me to come outside?" I asked.

"Yes, it is safe for you to come here. This place is not from the timeline you exist in or the time line Lacienda existed in. it is not the same Universe also." She explained to me.

"Now for your first lesson, I will need you to recreate that protective bubble you created btu this time without panic," she said to me.

"I don't know how I created it. I just panicked and it was created," I explained to her.

"You know how to create it. Take a deep breath and imagine being coated with a layer of protection that nobody can get to you," she said to me and I did exactly as she said. "Good,” she said and I opened my eyes to see that I already created the bubble of protection.

"Now come out of it," she said and I tried but I didn't know how.

"I cannot come out of it I told her,"

"Just imagine a pin burst the bubble," she said and I did coming out of the bubble.
