Chapter 91: Flames of Resolve

I was tied to the chair with silver that made me weak and I was tortured for three days and when I had been repeating the same thing over to them, they decided to call their alpha. "Where is she?" he asked as he walked towards the cell where I was being held.

"Here, alpha," the commander said as he walked in.

"Who are you?" the alpha asked me again.

"I am Lyra," I responded slowly because I was in pain due to the effect of the silver that prevented my wounds from healing.

"Lyra? Why does that name sound familiar?" the alpha held is chin as he wondered.

"It is similar to the luna of free town's name alpha," the commander responded.

"Yes, it is," the alpha said then he looked at me.

"Do you know her?" he asked me.

"I am here," I shook my head.

"Alpha, I told you that this woman is so funny. She is very delusional." The commander laughed.

"What do you mean you are the luna of free town?" the alpha asked me as he stared at me.

"Do you want me to proof it to you?" I asked him as I stared into his eyes.

"Release her," he said to his commander.

"But alpha she is lying! She.."

"I said release her!" the alpha raised his voice.

"Yes alpha,' the commander said as he moved towards me quickly and released me.

After I was released, the alpha nodded at me as if giving me the go ahead to pounce on his commander to show I am truly who I said I was.

I moved towards the commander and attacked him, the commander was really well trained and put up a decent fight but he was no match for me, I continued my movements with him and when I was done, I was on the ground breathing heavily while begging me to spare him.

I stopped and looked up at the alpha who stared at me slightly amused.

"I'm sorry luna Lyra," the alpha said to me as he held out his hand for me.

He led me to the pack how and called the doctor where I was properly tended to and he apologized profusely for the way I was treated.

"I really thought you were a rogue wolf, how come the luna of free town is here in my pack without any proper invite?" he said to me.

"Let me explain this better to you so you will understand. I am here because I need your help," I said to him as I explained everything that happened before I came to Russia and I asked him if he will help me out.

"Of course I will help you. I watched your movements with my commander and I saw the roughness in your movements. You really have good potential and it could be trained upon. Something about the way you fight tells me you were trained in a rush, it is not so refined. You haven't been training for a long time.

"Yes, I was trained for the war with Ryker and the colossal god," I said to the alpha.

"Lyra, you will be taken to you room and food will be brought to you. Tomorrow, we will start with your training. You will train with me personally and from there we can smoothen your rough edges," he said to me as he bade me good night and I went to my room.

"I hope everything goes well and I don't have to encounter anymore problems. Hopefully things will get better from here." I said out loud as I laid out on the bed.

If only the fates did listen.

The next morning, I woke up at exactly five am and I started working out, then I took a shower and met with the alpha and we went to his private training grounds together. He was so quick and he fought like a beast. It was literally so hard to keep up and I felt like I was going to faint.

The routine continued like that for the next few days and he decided to switch it up by adding some killer hard moves that will take me a few weeks to master but he wanted me to learn it within two days.

"That is really no possible, there is no way I can learn all these moves in two days." I looked at him with wide eyes.

"You can Lyra, I have seen what you can do, you just have to have enough will to know you want to do it and you will," he said dismissively like I was whining.

"You can be nicer you know," I said to him and he laughed.

"Yes I can be nicer but I think I like this version of myself better," he winked at me.

I shook my head.

I walked to dinner that evening and alpha Axel looked at me worriedly.

"Why are you looking at me like that? what happened?" I asked.

"Are you sure you want to know?" he asked.

"Yes," I nodded.

"It's free town. Information going around is saying that it was attacked by some Asian rogue wolves," he said and my heart skipped.

"I think they can hold on their own." I said after I regained composure.

"I never said they couldn't all I am saying is that now that people know you have left free town and they don't know where you are, they will be thinking that gives them the leverage to attack your territory," he said to me. "Hmm, I will do something about that. but not now. For now, I need to focus on me," I said to him and he nodded at me.

"I understand," he smiled.

"Why do you make the training so much harder and different everyday?" I asked frustratedly as I could not land any blows and that made me angry.

"For an element of surprise," he laughed.
