When Selena left the room and arrived in the corridor, the servant pulled her aside and revealed the truth.

"Yesterday, the doctor came to check. The best-case scenario is another month, Ms. Fair. James has been mentioning you a lot lately. He has lost most of what he should have lost, and now he looks so miserable. I don't think he wants you to see him like this. It might be better if you don't come next time."

The servant was considering James' feelings, and Selena understood. As the servant escorted her to the door, they did not forget to remind her.

"We were planning to replace a burial plot for James, but he said he wanted the one you chose. You can start buying it now. I'm afraid it might be too late for him," the servant said.

Before her debut, Madison was a troublemaker in school, but she had packaged herself as a cute persona in the industry. Now, with the video out, Madison faced severe backlash. She realized she was in deep trouble and immediately called Olivia.

"Olivia, could you lend me a hand for the sake of our friendship? I'm genuinely in deep trouble this time."

At the Fair family's villa, dinner was ready. James, propped up by his cane, gingerly descended the stairs, with a servant attempting to dissuade him.

"Mr. Fair, we can take it over for you."

"Let's go with this one," said James.

Each time he glanced at a book cover, he smiled, then coughed.

The servant sat with him in the back, watching as the traffic light changed and the car followed the rules, moving forward.

But at that moment, a speeding sports car came around the corner and crashed into them.

"Boom!"

The impact was especially loud due to the car's high speed.

James' car was flipped over, even launching more than 600 feet due to the collision.
