Chapter 96

Tanner’s POV

Feeling my babies kicking, and being excited to hear me speaking to them as I washed Gabi’s tummy was such a great feeling. I am so glad she grabbed my hands and held them to her stomach, so I could share the moment with her.

They had been more active for the last month and getting to feel them kick and how strong they were, made me calm down knowing that they were letting me know that everything was OK with them.

I was still a little worried about them, as I know how stressed out Gabi must have been.

I got her rinsed off and the conditioner out of her hair and then, after she wound her hair up in a towel on her head, I started to dry her off too.

Gabi will not have to lift a finger today if I can do it for her. I got her dry and followed her into our room and grabbed the plate of food. I hadn’t been hungry worrying about Gabi, and I was sure that she wasn’t eating properly while she was taken either.

So, grabbed two wrapped club sandwiches from the refrigerator in the dining room. They kept sandwiches stocked in their daily for when the patrols changed over, and they needed food. I grabbed two bags of chips and two sodas.

We will sleep better with full stomachs. Gabi gets into bed and we both eat quickly, as I guess we were more hungry than I thought we were.

I am glad that I thought about grabbing them before we went up to our room, and that will be enough for us until we go down to eat dinner. Gabi could fill up then, as I heard that Luna Everly asked Gabi what she wanted to eat.

Gabi told her right, those are her two favorite things to eat, so I am glad they are trying to turn this into a celebration with us getting Gabi back.

I saw Gabi battling a yawn and I lay behind her and spooned into her. I was exhausted and changed my plans.

I was going to soothe her into sleep with us having s*x, but I see she needs to rest, so I can wait until tonight. Gabi snuggled back into me, and that wiggle made me try to hold back my gr0an.

It was sweet torture feeling her against me and I needed her like the air I breathe. Gabi snuggled back again, and I got the message loud and clear.

I lifted Gabi’s left leg up a little and k!ssed her shoulder as she sighed. I moved forward and put my tip in place and then slid right into Gabi’s warm heat. Gabi needed me as much as I needed her, and I sighed too.

The feel of her pulling on me as I slid slowly in and out of her, was soothing to both of us. My arms wrapped around her as we came together fully again, and again.

This was what we needed. This wasn’t a fast-paced session. Both Gabi and I needed to feel this closeness, our bond bringing us closer together and making everything right in our world.

I sped up a little at the end and reached around her to rub her clit to send her over first, and I felt the tell-tale shaking of her legs and she just needed that last little push to get her there. I followed right behind her and then bit down on her mark on her shoulder to give us both more pleasure.

This, I didn’t want to go on without this. I couldn’t live without my Gabi and my babies, and I wouldn’t have wanted to. If Gabi was gone, I wanted to be with her in the afterlife, for us to be together again.

Gavin could take over the pack, as I would only be a shell of myself without her. I thank the Goddess for allowing us to get her back unharmed. I go grab a rag and clean her up, and she is already nodding off. She needed that as much as I did, and I went back to bed and pulled her up to my ch3st and we both fell into a deep sleep.

Neither of us had slept well in days, and we needed the rest. I breathed her scent in and I went to sleep with a smile on my face.

I had set my alarm for 530, as we were eating at 6, and then set the next alarm for 545, as we both wanted a little more sleep. We got up at 545, and Gabi went to use the bathroom. I heard a knock on the door, and when I opened it and peeked around the door and saw Von walking away from our door.

I saw that Von had left a bag on the door, with two sets of clothes for me, and for Gabi. She had even gotten underwear for us a well and washed it all to bring it to us.

I swear Von always thinks of others so much, I wish the Goddess had blessed her and Alpha heath with children, but maybe she left them childless, to be there for Gabi.

To take over loving her after she lost Claire and Percy, as she always tried to take care of us. One of Gabi’s outfits is a long maxi dress with long sleeves, and I put that out on the bed for her to wear.

It is purple and it is light colored at the top and as it continues down it gets darker, I know it is called something, but as a guy, I don’t retain that kind of information. Gabi comes out of the bathroom and sees the dress on the bed, and I pull out a matched set of underwear for her and some cute little ballet slippers for her feet and I see that she is excited about not having to wear the other outfit again, she doesn’t have to worry as I will be taking them downstairs to the garbage myself, so she never has to see those clothes again.

We head downstairs and are met at the bottom of the stairs by everyone that came to help us. Gabi started crying as she saw everyone standing there and smiling at her as she came down the stairs.

So many people cared about her and loved her enough to come and risk their lives to replace her. We get about 5 steps from the bottom step when Gabi stopped and said, “I cannot ever thank you all enough for coming to save me and our babies.

You have saved all three of us, and words cannot express how thankful that I am to each and every single one of you for doing it. We are indebted to you all, and I want you to know ! don’t take what you did lightly. I spent the majority of my life with no one that I could depend on other than my Omega parents at Red River, I didn’t get to have friends for the last 8 years, until I got to Ever Green.

So please excuse my tears, they are happy tears, as I appreciate you guys sticking your necks out for me, when you didn’t have to. You did it because you love and care for me, and our babies, and from the bottom of my heart I will appreciate what you all did to my dying day”

I nod in agreement, and said, “I wouldn’t have want to go on without her and out babies, so you all have actually helped save me too. Gabi is right, we are indebted to you all. I thank each of you for coming so quickly to help us.

I appreciate each and every one of you”. I let my gaze hit Derek at the end, and he smiled even bigger and nodded at me. He is completely enamored with Marie, and he has no interest in Gabi anymore.

Alpha Heath and Luna Von motion us over when we got to the floor, and we hugged out way through the crowd and as we moved through the group, the people who had hugged Gabi, went ahead into the dining room.

We continued to work through the group to our fellow trainers, Alpha Heath and Luna Von, and Gerald Waters were left. Gabi started to hug and give a k!ss on the cheek to all of her fellow team members, and I tried to stop growling each time she did it.

Each one of them gave me a cocky smile when they got their hug and k!ss, and then they entered the dining room too. I hugged Alpha Heath and Luna Von behind Gabi and thanked Luna Von for the clothes. She hugged me back and said, “I couldn’t help with the rescue, but I can help in other ways.

Thank you for bringing my grandbabies back, Tanner. Heath and I love you both.”

Gabi was introduced to Gerald by Heath, and I stepped up and said, “We couldn’t have gotten you back as well as we did, without him being there to help us”. I told her I would tell her the full story when we were eating dinner, and she nodded at me and then hugged Gerald in a tight hug.

He didn’t expect it, but he accepted it and then hugged her back. Gerald even teared up and became emotional over hugging Gabi. Heath told me that he had assisted Gerald in a rescue of Gerald’s daughter back in the day.

Gerald had told Heath if he even needed his help that he would be glad to do it. Seeing Gabi safe and sound, reminded him of his own daughter being rescued. Heath didn’t give me any real details, and I am sure that it was probably some kind of mission that I didn’t need to know about back when Heath and Gerald were younger. I appreciated him coming, I know he did it because Heath is a stand up man, and because Heath asked him for the help.

Gerald knew that they didn’t have children of their own, so when he hard they had Gabi, he was happy for them and had made plans to come and visit, but we were at Red River when he came by. Then Gabi came home with me. So, he put it on the back burner again. Gerald knew how much Heath and Von loved Gabi and considered her to be theirs this whole time.

We entered the dining room and I saw that two of the buffets had been set up and it had several Italian dishes on the first one, and garlic bread on there as well. The second buffet area was set up with Mexican food and Gabi was in heaven when she saw the well-stocked taco bar.

She made up one plate of Italian, and then immediately went back and got some tacos built as well. She wants what she wants and I am so glad she is happy.

They had set up about 8 tables together, so we formed one giant table. They left us room at the head of it, and I sat next to Von, as Heath and Gerald were able to talk together, as they hadn’t caught up in several years.

Alpha Wyatt and Luna Everly had got their seats on our end too and I could hear them talking next to Von, as I was sitting down next to Gabi.

Gabi enjoyed the meal and thanked Wyatt and Everly for having both of her favorites cooked, instead of just picking one. They nodded at her and had small smiles on their faces, and I was starting to wonder if they were changing their minds on Taylor’s punishment being carried out.

I was glad the werewolf council members were still here, as what Taylor is guilty of was unforgivable. I would hate to pull them into it, but for Gabi would. We need to have this thing with Taylor handled before we leave tomorrow.
