Chapter 15

Kiefer P.O.V

Walking up to the familiar mansion I knock on the door. Immediately it opens to reveal Judy. She greeted me with a small smile before letting me inside. “They’re upstairs,” she said going back into the kitchen. I watched her disappear through the adjoining door. I started heading up the stairs two at a time anxious to see my little mate. Our date last night was the best date I ever had. She looks so beautiful under the twinkling lights I love the way how her skin glows, she’s like a radiant star in my sight. My wolf wanted to take her and it took all I had to hold him back. I didn’t want to take anymore advantage of her as I already did so when she didn’t let me k**s her I leave it at that.

Reaching upstairs I heard laughter coming from my mate room. I wonder what they were doing in there Lily called me saying she need her makeup remover. I had to ask her mom what that is because I clearly don’t know what it was…

“Now we have Jace, who’s wearing a lovely red tank top, which complements his red eyes shadow and lipstick. His hair done in an Afro, please give Jace a clap.” Kristy voice echo from behind the door.

Curious now I pushed open the door which was partly open. As I enter everyone head turns to me and I froze. Two words that can only describe what I’m seeing right now “Holy shit”.

“Great you’re finally here. Man I swear they’re torturing us.” Max said getting up.

“Oh shit,” I said laughing. “You guys look ugly. Don’t tell me all of you decide to go on the other side.” I crack up laughing more.

“Not funny Kiefer.” Max said hitting me on the back. The impact causes me to choke.

“Shit I think I swallow my saliva.” I said coughing. “What the hell man, what’d you hit me for?”

“That’s for being a d**k head, now did you bring the thing Lily told you to bring?”

“Here,” I said handing the bag to Max he took it immediately and within seconds he and Ryan and Jace went out the room. I turned to Lily my brow raising. “What happen?” I ask folding my arm across my chest and trying not to laugh.

“Nothing they just woke up with makeup on their face. Someone must have pulled a prank on then.” She said her face all innocence but I know better. She did it to me once.

I kept staring at her for a second, “I know it’s you who did it Lily but to do three guys face you must have had help.” I said turning and looking at my mate and Kristy. I raise my brow at them. Immediately my little mate raise up her hands.

“I was on a date with you so don’t look at me.” Her melody voice says.

A smile came to my face when she mentions our date. I couldn’t stop thinking about it even if I wanted too. Mind you I don’t want to stop, was just saying something. “Ok I get the makeup but what were them doing before I walk in?”

All three girls look at each other smiling mischievously, “Well we kind of made them model for us by putting on a show. That’s what you walk in on.” Kristy answered.

“And if you want to know how we get them to do it, well let’s just say with a couple of pictures blackmailing can be easy.” My mate added.

Shaking my head at them, I smiled. “Remind me to never mess with you girls.”

“Lily!” Max yelled. How’d you take these things off?”

“We better go help them.” Lily said walking towards the door. “Come on Kristy let’s leave the two love birds alone.” Kristy got up following my cousin out the room. I watched them leave and shake my head. What a strange combination they are…

I looked at my mate and I notice her face was a light shade of pink. “You look cute when you blush.” I said walking towards her. Her face went to a deep shade of red and I smirked. If that’s the effect I have on her with a simple compliment I wonder what she goes through when I k**s her. Thinking about kissing her made me want to do it now, but I held back. I know she’s still hesitant about me kissing her and I don’t want to take the chance of losing her nor my kids. “Did you sleep well?”

“Yes.” She said nodding her head.

I smiled. “Did you dream of me?”

“What… dream of you?” she scoffed. “Like I don’t have anything better to dream about,”

“So you did dream about me?” I cocked my head amuse.

“I didn’t say that.”

“You didn’t have to.” I said, “I could read your mind.” I tapped the side of my temple. She glares at me and I could feel the walls building up in her mind. It’s the first time I use our mate bond to read her mind.

“It’s bad manners to read people thoughts and if you ever do that again, I’ll personally kill you.” She threatens.

I chuckle and her glare intensified. “So are you going to tell me what you dream?”

“No!” she stated blushing.

“Why not?” I ask getting more close to her.

“Because…”

“Because.” I repeated cocking my head to the side.

“Because I don’t have to tell you anything,” She said firmly.

Shaking my head I watched her with a playful glint in my eyes. “I guess I’ll have to make you tell me then.” I said approaching her like she’s my pray. She scooted farther on her bed her eyes nervous but also a glint in it.

“What’re you going–.” Before her question could finish I was on her bed in no time. My hand snaked around her and I started tickling her. She screams out “No!” between fits of laughter..

“Kiefer!” she yelled rolling to the side. I follow her continuing tickling her. She laughed like a baby and at one time I could have sworn I heard her snort

I stopped and look at her. “Are you going to tell me now?”

Shaking her head she shouted, “Never!”

“We’ll see about that.” I said and start tickling her again. Laughter filled the room as I continue my torment. I have to say she sure can put up a fight. But I know she’s going to give up soon. We were sitting up now when she made a sound.

“Oh, Kiefer here feel.” She said grabbing my hand and placing it on her stomach.

At first I was scare that I hurt her or our babies but my worry soon disappear and replace with a smile when I felt it. It was a powerful kick one that had my hand bouncing backward. “I believe they’re going to be soccer player.” I said.

She laughed. “I believe so also.”

Our eyes met and I could feel the connection growing between us. We stare at each other for what felt like hours. I got lost in her amazing green eyes, they’re so beautiful. I hope our children got her eyes. I suddenly got this strong urge to k**s her. It seem she had it too because she started leaning into me, her eyes closing half way. I leaned too our lips a mere inches apart.

“Yo Romeo and Juliet were going to the movies and you’re invited.” Lily voice interrupts us. We pull away and I look at my cousin. She had a smirk on her face and I bit my l*p holding back a growl of annoyance at her.

“I’m going to get ready.” Brella said getting off the bed and rushing to what I assume is her bathroom. I watched her as she disappear behind the door, closing it.

Turning to my cousin I follow her out. “Nice Lily you have the best timing in the world.” I stated sarcastically.

Patting my shoulder she smiled. “It’s one of my best traits.” She said and ran off laughing. Shaking my head I decide to go down stairs and wait for everyone. This is going to be an eventful day.
