Brella POV

“Excuse me I need to use the bathroom.” I shouted at the door but all I got was silence.

I sighted going back to the bed I sit down.

“How long will we be here for?” Kristy asks.

“I don’t know.” I said as I rub my tummy. They’re keeping me here until I give birth, but I don’t know what will happen to us after. Jax left an hour ago after he made us eat, he said he’ll return later but I rather not see his evil face, it makes my b***d boils.

The door open and I look up. Two strong men walks in alone with a woman in a white dress, she has brown hair that was pulled into a tight bun. She came toward me taking out what look like a syringe in her pocket.

“What is that for?” I asks as I eyed the syringe

“It’s prostaglandin, it helps induce labor.” She said smiling.

My eyes widen and I grab her hand that was stretch out towards me. I stop her “If you try anything, I promise I’ll break your hand.” I growled as I squeeze her hand. I could tell she’s human as she yelled in pain. The two big guys came by my side in a flash, grabbing onto me, they try pulling me away from her, but I held on as tight as I can. I can’t let her inject that to me.

“Let her go.” Kristy screamed as she jumped behind one of the strong guys. He release his grips on me as he tries to knock her off him. He backed into the wall and Kristy screamed as she fell to the ground.

“Kristy.” I shouted looking in her direction as my grips loosen.

The strong guy now held her pin against the wall as she desperately fights for him to let her go gasping for breath.

“Aah.” I scream as I felt the syringe sticking into my arm.i looked at the woman and she smiled. My heart rate picks up pace as I pushed her away before she can press all into me, she fell dropping the syringe, I turn around and kick the guy in his family jewels as hard as I can. My dad always says the best place to aim, when dealing with a male.

He drops to his knees holding his family jewels. I pick up the syringe the woman was holding and I rushed toward them and stabbed it into the big guy neck, I made sure I dug it in very deeply as I press what’s left into him. I back away as he pulls it out bleeding. His grips loosen causing Kristy to drop to the ground.

“Kristy are you ok?” I ask worried.

“I’m ok.” She said as she coughed.

I grab her arm. “Let’s go.” I said as I help her up. I glance around the room, the guy I kicked still lies on the floor whimpering in pain. The human woman sat there dumb founded as the guy I stabbed lay on the ground as foam comes out his mouth.

“Bree let’s go.” Kristy pulled me towards the open door.

Snapping out of my daze we headed to the door. “It’s empty.” I said as cautiously peek outside.

We step out on the corridor.

“Which way do we go?”

I bit my l*p thinking. Should we go up or down? I close my eyes as I try to sense any wolves close by. * Go straight ahead. * my wolf said.

I open my eyes. *Are you sure? *

*Yes, now go. There’s not enough time. I’ll guide you the best as I can. * I nod my head at her.

“We go straight ahead.” I said confidently as I grab Kristy hand. “We need to move faster.”

Kristy nodded. We walked for a while until we came to another halt. Do we go left or right?

*Left. * my wolf said.

Still holding Kristy hand, we turned left. As we walk in silence my eyes wonder about and I realize this building is an abundant hospital. Throughout the walks were a stain white, we passed a few rooms that only has one bed like mines and some old hospital machine and rusty scalpels. I went into one and took two, in case we ran into someone.

*There is an exit straight up ahead, but I sense two wolves guarding there. You need to be careful. *

“There’s an exit up ahead.” I said looking at Kristy her face light up. “But they are two guards there.”

Her eyes widen “How do we get pass them?” she asks

I bit my l*p thinking as my eyes drop to my hand. I stared at the two scalpels I picked up a while back and then it hits me like a light bulb.

“I think I have a plan.” I said grinning.

Kiefer POV

A few minutes have passed when Mark bought a dark hair girl to my office. “She was just about to escape Alpha.” He said as held her hands behind her back.

The girl looks scared as she desperately struggles to break free. “Let go of me, I did nothing wrong.” She pleaded.

“Lydia is it.” I said as I watch her carefully. “You say you did nothing wrong but why did my mate write your name on a piece of paper.”

Her eyes widen. “I… I… I don’t know.” She stammers.

“you don’t or you won’t tell?” I question my voice cold.

“I… I… I…” she stammers.

“Lily come in.” I said and Lily walks in holding a cup in her hand. I stared at the girl not taking my eyes off her. “Tell you what, Lily here witness you serve my mate this cup of tea, moments after the pack got attacks and my mate start experiencing contractions. Coincidence?”

Her eyes widen.

I got up and walk towards her, her eyes never leaving me. I grab her by the throat. “If you don’t start telling me what you know. I’ll make sure you die a horrible death.” I whisper venomously in her ears.

I release her and she cuffed dropping to her knees as tears ran down her cheeks. “I’m sorry I didn’t want to do it, but he, he said I had to and Cain.” She sobbed as she let her drop dear not looking up at me.

“Cain” I repeated. “What about Cain?”

“He, he helped me do it.” She confessed.

My whole body began to shake, Cain he betrays me. that traitor. “Find him.” I growled. “Find him now!”

1 hour later

“Sorry Alpha but we couldn’t replace him anywhere, looks like he uses the chaos to escape.” Mark explains looking disappointed.

I cursed under my breath.

“Kiefer.” Brian said as he enters his hands cover in b***d and some platter on his face. “We go a location from the rouge.” He said.

“Good.” I nod my head. “Get all a few of our fighters and prepare to leave in an hour.”
