Tyler’s perspective

“We are going to war tomorrow. I have already ordered 6 buses to take all of the warriors, 250 from our pack and 100 from Stone Moon, as well as our 20 sharpshooters, including Tate. We will be leaving here at 3 am and stop at Stone Moon to get their warriors and then head to Howling Wolf. We will surround their perimeter and I will discuss where I want their placement to be after we get the exact information on their total square footage and size of their pack. I don’t want anyone leaving, especially not Eric or Kyle. I do not want Jade to have to look over her shoulder for the rest of her life, so I am going to make this easy on everyone. Calvin has pictures of who we need to take out, I will need you all to send these pictures out to your teams” I tell my Five Lead Warriors who were chosen to each lead 50 warriors in this battle, as well as dad, Tate, Braxton, Mason, and Calvin.

“Calvin will send them to me tonight and I will be sending them out to you guys so them men and women we are taking have time to see what our targets are. It will probably come down to the sharpshooters actually getting this done, as I believe that they will try to run when we arrive, which is why I will be wanting to set up on the perimeter and a wolf be at every hundred feet with a sharpshooter at around every 600 feet, so five wolves each spaced out at 100 feet apart, a sharpshooter and then another 5 warriors spaced about 100 feet apart, and so on to make sure we have their land covered. We can adjust when we actually get there and set it up then to make it uniform. I will be at the front gate on the Southside with Tate. I would like Braxton to take the Eastside with 50 of the Stone Moon wolves, Mason to take the Northside with the other 50 Stone moon Wolves, and Calvin on the Westside with our wolves. We will also have some of our additional wolves stationed with the Stone Moon Wolves to make sure we keep our perimeter set up the way we want it to be. I was going to have one of our Leads at each of the corners between each of us so that there is a Leader there to help make any decisions that need to be made quickly at that point. And that way there will only be about 20 to 25 wolves between each of the Leaders” I say to the group.

“Makes sense,” Mason says as he looks at the diagram we have of the Howling Wolf pack-lands. Calvin had marked off where the packhouse and where the alpha family lives as well as the Devoe’s home and has also been a big help with the shortlist of people who needed to be taken down. We don’t want to have to do this again, so I was good with taking out any threat against Jade now. They were several terrible people, who had done terrible things to her and others, and I didn’t want to worry about Jade leaving our property or Stone Moon’s property and having to watch over her shoulder every moment fearing for her life. We were going to take care of it now, and she will be safe from now on. I know I am planning a hit like a mob boss, but they have all done something to Jade or saw her being bullied and abused and did nothing about it, or like her family did, took her money, plotting on kicking her out of their house, and emotionally abused and allowed Jeremy to physically abuse Jade. If we plan correctly, we will have no loss of life for us or Stone Moon, and the world would be a better place without the potential rapists in it. Tate and I would do anything to protect our sister.

“I agree this looks like an excellent plan, and with the marksmen being there, we should have no real injuries for either of our packs,” Braxton tells us.

“I will make sure my team of sharpshooters have all of the photos tonight for them to go over and to look at on the way tomorrow as well. I don’t want us to lose any of our or Stone Moons pack-members in this attack. We will get in and get out, the Beta will be the logical choice for them to take as their interim Alpha, and he can run Howling Moon until someone else is willing to step up and be the strong Alpha it needs in the future” Tate says to the group.

I go ahead and dismiss the Leads from the meeting and continue on with the five of us.

“Jade wanted to go with us. I had to turn her down. She does not need to be put in harm’s way and if they see her there, she might get hurt, as she is their target. She is safer here and I will let her know when it is all over” I tell the group.

“I got a call this morning from Asher, who asked if he could go with us. I told him that I believe that you had it covered. If you want him in though, we can let him know and he can ride with you there tomorrow. I know he wants to fight for Jade, and he probably feels like this is a good first step in doing just that” dad says to the group.

“Asher is a good fighter and I know he feels terrible about coming across like he did when Jade thought that he was just supporting Ashley. But I knew what he meant to say, he had to verify that she had done it with his own eyes. He is about to be Alpha, and he can’t just take the word of someone that he doesn’t know” Tyler stops and looks at Calvin and says, “No offense meant, but he had to verify it for himself, and I know he wanted Jade to be kept safe. Plus, I know that they was jealously there on his part, as well, as you were her original mate, and you never wanted to reject her in the first place. We are thankful for you coming forward to tell us, you had literally saved her from having some truly horrible things done to her. I have heard about the mate bond, and I have seen how strong it is for several people. I believe him when he says that he loves her, and only her, but I can also see where not knowing his side of it, would make it seem like he was taking Ashley’s side over Jade’s side of it. I will call him and speak to him and make my decision. I will let you all know at dinner” Tyler finishes, and we all exit the office.

“I am proud of you for coming up with the plan of attack you did Tyler, it was a good thing to offer Calvin the position in our pack, I understand why he would want to leave his old pack. They are some bad people in that pack, not all of them are though, so maybe Calvin’s dad will be able to turn the pack around and get it to thrive again. I agree with what you are going to do, and I know you will make good choices with Dark Moon when you become Alpha. I am so proud of both you and Tate, you are taking up for your sister, as well as people who can’t fight for themselves. This will result in a better situation for so many people in the Howling Wolf pack” dad says to me before squeezing my shoulder and walking away.

I pull out my cell phone as I head to my room because I don’t want people to listen in on the conversation.

“Tyler?” I hear Asher say into the phone.

“Yea, it’s me, I was calling to see if you still wanted to go with us when we go to Howling Wolf?” I ask him.

“Yes, I do, I want to be there to know that I helped protect Jade, as well as you guys did, so she won’t have to worry about being attacked the rest of her life” Asher replies to me.

“What punishment did you give Ashley?” I asked him.

“Well, I was going to give her just banishment, but when she went nuts and threatened to hunt Jade down and kill her, I had her put in a cell and I will kill her myself tomorrow,” Asher told me.

“Well, you have plans for tomorrow, we will be at your pack around 5 am, as we are leaving her at 3 am, so move it back a few days. I plan on being at the Howling Wolf pack at around 750 tomorrow and setting up around the perimeter and ready to go at 8 am. So, cancel your plans, you will ride with us in the SUV tomorrow and we will bring you up to speed. I will see you tomorrow at 5 am” I tell Asher and get off the phone. I will bring it up at dinner so I can see Jade’s reaction, it should tell me all that I need to know on her side of it.
