Daniella never bothers to go home that night after a confrontation withDante and Cameron.

“The jerk has the nerve to say he cares’ she complains to her wolf whohasn't even talk to her or give her any sign at all that she's alright inthere.

She went to get ready but before she does that Kiev handed her someclothes he bought for her. Daniella was grateful for having Kiev as afriend, after getting ready he dropped her off at work which to herdismay Dante was there already waiting for her.

"What do you want Dante?" she walks past him and slams the doorthen to her locker in the staff room.

After she changed into her uniform and apron she came back insidewith Dante seated by the counter.

"Dani, can we talk please” he begged her. She looks around there wasno customer in fact Dante is the first one.

She gazes back at him "what Dante?" she folded her arms then satdown. He clear his throat then look her in the eyes.

"I'm sorry for everything that I've done to you" Dani was to retort buthe stops her "I am deeply sorry for everything I really am. I don't needyou too but all I ask is for you to give us a chance and I promise I'llshow you how really sorry I am."

Daniella laughs hysterically "oh Alpha Dante, I hate to say this but nocan do for you" she reaffirms.

Dante move to her grabbed her wrist pleading with her "please Dani"he begs.

She pushed off his hands "never touch me again" she growls at him. Hetook a step back "Dani"

"No, now get out of here Alpha I don’t want to see your face anymore.”When he has gone giving up in one or that was she thought sherefused to cry and carry out with her work. She put on her smiley facewelcoming her guests and bidding them goodbye.

Alpha Allen happens to drop by her cafe, he sat by the window table.She walks towards him "anything you would like Alpha?" he turns up toher his lips curve up in a smile. "Yeah, just coffee would do, make itblack” she took his order and went back to do it.

She came back a few minutes with a plate filled with a chocolate muffinon the side and their cafe best cookies along with his tea. She settled iton the table before him "Ms. I didn't" "No worries Alpha it's on thehouse" she graciously smiles at him and heads back to serve her othercustomers.

She was busy placing orders when Alpha Allen came up to her againthis time he offers her dinner in which she declines politely.

Allen, on the other hand, seems to be growing impatient with her, helooks as if he wanted to kidnap her right there but he knows thatpeople are watching and one move goes wrong and he'll be damn. Hegrimaces at her like a gentleman masking his anger before going out.When she was done with work she went back home thinking hardabout what to tell Cameron. Dante happens to be there too withflowers in his hands this time. Offering peace but Dani after he leftdumps it in their rubbish bin with a thought

Cameron came back in after bidding Dante goodbye "you want to talkabout it"

"I'm sorry” she began to apologize to him "I'm sorry for screaming atyou and not coming back last night” he opens up his arms.

Daniella dejectedly hug him in return “I know and I understand but Ihope you forgive Dante someday as he has his own reason” she pullsback "can't do that"

They both talk for an hour before they got a warning from the councilagain that their Eastside border has been attacked again and everyoneshould stay inside except for their warriors. Unfortunately, Laura wasout with the kids. They left to go to the store which was near where theattack was happening.

"I'l come with you" Dani grab her jacket

"no, you stay here Dani"

"sorry, Cam but my niece and nephew with their mother are out thereso no I won't stay.”

Cam agrees, in the end, to take her even though he didn't want to. Theyboth rush outside Cam shifting in to his wolf while Dani took his car.When they arrived the place was in massacres bodies were lyingeverywhere and the shop that was near the border was destroyed withwarriors still deflected the rogues.

Daniella quickly unbuckles her seat belt and rushes out. A wolf whosmells like a rogue jump at her too bad this time she was ready todefend herself and before he could kill her Daniella kills him bysnapping his neck then she moves to another rogue.

The rogues retreat once again, she looks around and saw the Alphas inthe council with their Beta and doctors identifying the bodies.Cameron on the other side was moving from one body to body hopingto replace Laura and his kids and Daniella was too exhausted to stand up.Yet when she stood up to go help him look for Laura and the kids.Dante arrived with Clyde in his arms, she rushes to him taking him fromhim "thank you" she mumbles holding him tight to her chest.

Cameron who Dante alert with his son came back quickly and wasbeside Daniella hugging them both. Dante watches with jealousy yet heknew that they are just a family nothing more.

"I found him crying near our border by himself"

"Laura, did you?" Dante nods his head no to Cameron "I'm sorry Cambut it was only him we found."

Cameron stood up growling with all his might through the cold chillnight. Howling for his lost daughter and mate. Carla with Allen camerunning in their direction once she heard his wolf cry. She stood by himspeechless with her eyes on Daniella who moves to comfort Camerontelling him that he needs to be strong for Clyde.

Dante watching his Mate hurts because of her family makes him filledwith anger towards the rogues and was beyond furious but he withheldit all for tonight just for his Mate.
