Inside the Traditional Medicine Department at Betrico University, the class leader, Jasmine, held a notice from Betrico University's publicity department.

Jasmine adjusted her glasses and cleared her throat. "Ahem, ahem, students of the Traditional Medicine Department, please quiet down. I have an announcement to make."

After saying this, she paused and cleared her throat again. "According to a notice from Clusia Pianists' Association, a selection will be held across major universities in Betrico to recruit the best piano talents as reserves for nurturing future artists. "The selection is scheduled for 9 a.m. this Saturday in Concert Hall No. 1 at the Pianists' Association.

"This selection will follow a scoring system, with the top three participants gaining direct entry into the Clusia Pianists' Association and being assigned respective piano mentors.

"The judges for the selection competition include Mr. Wilson, President of the Clusia Pianists' Association, Ms. Simpson, Vice President of the association, and a third judge, who is yet to be determined.

"Participants who wish to sign up for this selection must submit their personal piano certification and award documents before the competition.

"That's all from me. Those interested in signing up, hurry up! All of us in the Betrico University Traditional Medicine Department will be your strongest support. Good luck, everyone!"

As soon as Jasmine finished speaking, the students below started whispering among themselves.

Jenny tapped Madeline on the shoulder from the row behind. "Hey, Madeline, I remember you're pretty good at piano. You should sign up and give it a shot. If you make it, you might even become Liam's student.

"Or maybe end up with Tina as your mentor. That sounds great too. I heard she's the older sister of Truman, the CEO of Artiverse Entertainment, and also Marlon's daughter-in-law. No matter what, you should give it a try."

Madeline shook her head and sighed. "Forget it. I didn't realize how important those exams were when I was younger and didn't take them seriously."

"I don't have any certificates or award proof, so I won't participate." Though she seemed indifferent, there was a slight hint of regret and sadness in her tone.

Even before entering the classroom, Cherise could hear them discussing the piano selection competition organized by Liam. She frowned and thought, 'Why does Liam have to make such a grand event out of this?' After class, Cherise was about to leave the classroom when Zander stopped her.

Looking at Zander, who bore a slight resemblance to Trent, Cherise asked, "What's up?"

Zander looked excited, pulling out a silicone human model full of acupuncture points from behind his back. "Ms. Leach, I've memorized all 720 acupuncture points clearly."

Cherise raised an eyebrow, somewhat surprised. Although he had taken a bit longer than their agreed timeline, memorizing all the points in such a short period was impressive. She nodded approvingly. "Hmm, not bad!"

Zander scratched his head happily. "Hehe, so Ms. Leach, you mentioned you'd teach me a quick way to master this. What is it?"

Cherise smirked. "Try practicing on a real person, or maybe give yourself a few needles to see how it feels."

"What? Seriously? I'm afraid I'd hurt myself," Zander replied, looking uncertain.

Cherise chuckled softly. Considering that he had helped her before, and was her student and Trent's only grandson, she decided to make an exception. "The day after tomorrow, in the afternoon when we don't have classes, come with me. I'll give you some practical experience."

"Really? Can I really go?" The usually composed Zander instantly lit up with excitement, unable to hide the joy on his face.

Cherise nodded firmly. After saying goodbye, she walked toward the parking lot. As she passed by the student piano practice room on the first floor, she stopped.

A gentle piano melody drifted out, making Cherise pause it was a classical masterpiece.

'Not bad! After all, this piece is quite challenging. Aside from a few transitions that could be smoother, the performer handles the rhythm and emotion quite well,' Cherise thought.

'Betrico University has someone who can play the piano this well? Who could it be?' she wondered.

'It's not Shirley. At the last anniversary of Betrico University, her performance wasn't good enough. Her expression was flat-maybe even absent. She was too focused on technique and personal gain.

'The way a person plays music can reveal their character,' Cherise thought. With curiosity, she smiled slightly and gently pushed open the door to the piano room.

The piano room was divided into individual practice booths. Following the sound, Cherise reached the last one. Inside, a girl with a high ponytail sat at a black piano, playing fluidly, immersed in her world. Sensing someone's presence, the girl paused and turned around. Seeing Cherise, she looked surprised. "Ms. Leach, it's you! What brings you here?"
