Chapter 342

When Harold returned from the Hawkins residence, he took the secret passage again. It seemed that Rita was meticulous in keeping everything under wraps, determined not to leave any trace for others to replace. Harold was indeed a selfish man, and as for the details of Morris natal chart-he had completely forgotten about it Honestly, he had never bothered to remember it.

It was only after leaving the Hawkins residence that he started to think about how to figure out Morris's matal chart.

Morris had only just arrived at his office at the Chivers Group when Leo knocked and entered, carrying a package. "Mr. Chivers, the package from Mrs. Chivers has arrived!" Leo said, Ids voice filled with excitement. Morris, who had been focused on something, suddenly looked up with a spark of joy in his eyes. "Where is it? Give it to me."

Leo shook the box in his hand. "Here it is. The box looks a bit dirty from the journey. I'll open it for you." With that, he placed the box on the ground, preparing to tear open the package directly.

Morris shor him a sharp look, immediately standing up. "Put it down! My wife wrapped it up, and I'll open it myself."

Leo froze at Morris's reprimand, quickly withdrawing his hands from the box. He gently patted it twice and forced an awkward smile. "It's fine. I didn't touch it."

Although Leo said that, he couldn't help but wonder, 'Wasn't it packed by Hugh? Why is he so nervous about a box? Jeez. men get all strange once they are married.

Morris stopped Leo and walked over to the package. He crouched down, gently lifting the large box as if it were a precious artifact. He carefully began to open it, taking his time with each movement. Leo stood by, his eyes wide with shock. He thought, 'Come on, it really took a while before he finally got everything out of

the box.

Inside, there was a large roll of bubble wrap, surrounding two small bottles. Apparently, Hugh had assumed these were valuable items sent by Cherise, so he had gone overboard with the packing. Morris stared at the two bottles in his hands, frowning in confusion. "What's this?"

Hearing Morris's mumble, Leo immediately moved closer. "Mr. Chivers, the bottles have labels. I saw it-one is for kidney health, and the other is for strengthening your body."

Morris turned his head to look at him, his eyes narrowing with a hint of irritation. "I can read, okay? But do you think I need this?"

Just then, Steven entered, catching the tail end of Leo's comment "Of course, you can, Mr. Chivers. It's just... Well, I understand you. Since it's your first marriage, you might not know these things. It's fine. You'll see what it will do for you." Steven understood immediately what Leo was trying to say and quickly chimed in Mr. Chivers, it's not a big deal. Mrs. Chivers doesn't mind it, or she wouldn't have sent you these pills she made herself. These pills are clearly tailored to your needs. "Instead of obsessing over what these pills are for, you might want to consider how to make her happier."

Morris, holding the two small bottles, stood up and returned to his chair. He rubbed his forehead, frowning in frustration. "Why do you think I need these pills? Do I look that weak?"

Leo and Steven were both taken aback by Morris's sudden outburst, but they answered truthfully, "Hugh told us. He's the

one who sent the pills, and knows best what is going on. Could it be that he made a mistake?"

Morris frowned even more and massaged his temples as he thought back to those two nights. Shaking his head, he thought

to himself. "No, everything seemed line back then. So why did she give me the two bottles of pills?

'No, I need to call her and figure out whether there's something wrong with me?

"Get out! Both of you! Morris barked sharply.

Leo and Steven exchanged quick glances before hastily retreating from the office.

Once they were gone, Morris immediately pulled out his phone and called Cherise. Her contact was saved under "Dear Wife"

After a few rings, Cherise picked up. "Good morning, Morris! What's up? Did you miss me?"

Hearing her voice, Morris felt a wave of relief. "Yeah, I missed you.

Cherise's laughter echoed through the phone, clearly amused by his response.

Morris glanced at the two small bottles on his desk, a slight frown forming as he said, "The package arrived."

Cherise's voice came through, calm and cheerful. "Good. Take one a day, okay? It's good for your health!"

Hearing her response, Morris's heart sank again. He took a deep breath and asked, "So, Cherise, these pills.. Are they really helpful for that thing?"

"For what?" Cherise sounded confused, not understanding what he meant.

Morris let out a sigh, the weight of his thoughts pressing on him. Is it because I didn't satisfy you that you sent me these pills?"

Instantly, Cherise understood, and she blushed. Panicking, she hurried to explain, "What? No, you got me wrong. Well, maybe it is, but not in the way you're thinking! I mean I'm really happy with you!" Cherise's face burned as she realized she was making everything worse. She scrambled to replace the right words but only felt more flustered.

When Morris heard "really happy, his face lit up with a mix of relief and delight. Then what exactly are these pills for?"

Cherise took a deep breath to steady herself before answering, "Well, I just thought you might be working too hard and pushing yourself too much. These are to help replenish your energy.

"You got injured in Manesia, right? These pills will help with blood circulation, relieve fatigue, and even help with longevity. Honestly, it's for your health. It's not because I think you're not doing well."

Hearing her explanation, Morris couldn't help but laugh, realizing that Cherise had only been concerned about his health and not the other matter. The weight in his chest lifted, and he grinned. "Got it. Thank you, Cherise. I love you," he said warmly, knowing she had been a bit flustered herself during the explanation.
