When the doctors arrived they were met with such a surprise, in the room there were four bodies on the floor, they checked them all, apparently the two patients and the sister of the incapacitated woman, who were unconscious, but a man in a doctor's suit, unknown to all, lay dead due to a wound in the neck. But why all this debris?" one of the doctors was alarmed as soon as he entered to see overturned stretchers, instruments on the floor and the smell of disgrace.

-I recognise this fake doctor, he studied with me, as I recall he lost his degree for malpractice, he liked to experiment on patients. They called him the cat because he covered his shit with dirt. -The head nurse started to check on the killer, as he was the worst looking one.

-I think I heard him. It's a bit far-fetched that he's here, but it doesn't matter, what we have to do is to check and stabilise the patients. -The doctor checked the fake doctor, realising that he could no longer do anything for him, and then he checked Ximena and Erik, who, although beaten, still had vital signs.

-Doctor, there's another lady here too, it looks like she's having a heart attack, she needs to be rushed to resuscitation. -The nurse found Emily lying behind a stretcher.

A few days passed in the hospital. Security was doubled for the managers. The one who took the longest to get better was Erik, although he felt lucky not so much to be alive but because Ximena was watching over him, she was his only companion, none of his family came to see him, they only called him a few times.

Emily took Ximena home with her, who in turn invited Erik, while they got something to eat and recovered well. They hired four nurses, a doctor, a paediatrician for their children and four nannies for the twins. For the hostess, the first few days were a beautiful change, a feeling of gratitude for being able to help her sister and nephews, as well as having them close by. However, as time went on, she began to miss her privacy, she had grown accustomed to living alone, and now she had an army living in her small home, she felt suffocated, especially by Erik, because he was nothing like her, deep down she disliked him for the sneaky way he behaved.

One morning she went urgently to her private bathroom, when she was about to go in, a silhouette ran past, it was Erik, who ran in and without asking her permission locked himself in that tiled room. She didn't know what bothered her more, whether it was the invader of her most private room, or that her stomach was pounding and she would have to look for another bathroom in the house, or the fact that if the dying man could run that meant he was already recovered. So he didn't understand why he still lived in his dwelling. That meant he was a freeloader. Instead of looking for another toilet, he looked for Ximena, with whom he unloaded something else that made his stomach clench.

-Ximena, that Erik is a bully, he came into my bathroom when I was about to go in.

-Yes sister, what a shame, what happened is that they are bathing the twins, that's why he had to go to yours, besides, you told us to make ourselves at home. -Ximena answered, looking down, she already felt that they were starting to get in the way. -Sister, of course, but you and my nephews and nieces. I really don't understand what that man is doing here. -Emily started whispering and then ended up shouting.

-It's while he recovers, but don't worry, sis, I'm going to get a house today, so we can leave. -Ximena crossed her arms, she already felt upset, because she didn't sleep very well, as her children were awake all night, alternating whining.

-Please don't do it, I can't conceive of being away from my nephews and nieces. What bothers me is that Erik is a freeloader. He doesn't even help out for a loaf of bread, besides he's already recovered, I've seen how he goes to the kitchen and raids the pots and pans. He goes to bed late watching films and gets up for lunch, plus the way he ran to sneak into my bathroom, it's not possible for a sick man to look like a marathon runner. -Emily felt a break as she relieved herself.

-I'm going to pack up and get out of here. They're right, it's like Washington used to say, the dead and the wrecked, after four days it smells like fish. -Erik, sobbing, entered the room without being heard. Emily felt sorry for this, plus Ximena gave her a hateful look. -Yes, it's better, we're leaving, everyone needs their own space, I thank you very much for everything and if it's fair, we're fine now. -Ximena got up and started to look for the suitcases to pack. She was interrupted by Erik, who shrieked and fainted, lying motionless on the floor.

-Doctors! -Ximena alerted her health staff, who arrived immediately. Emily looked at Erik's face and thought he was smiling.

-Wait, that man is faking. -Emily threw the contents of a vase over him, and the water miraculously managed to dodge the fainting man before it got him wet.

-Don't be cruel, Emily, that water smells nasty. -Erik got up more agile than a martial arts movie hero.

-I knew it, you're faking it to be close to my sister, what a low strategy, I bet you tried to get into her bed too, thank goodness she sleeps with her two children, I'm going to call the police to take him away. -Emily went into a rage, provoking him to kick him out. -It's not what you think, it's just that I've never been in a place like this, surrounded by several people, the truth is that for the first time I feel like I'm in a family. -Erik said this in tears, with his head bowed. While they didn't know whether to believe him or not. -By the way, it's very strange that his family doesn't like him, it must be because of something, what if he's a serial killer? -Emily let slip another doubt that weighed her down, because in the time they had been in his house, no family member or friend had ever come to see him.

-What happens is that my family doesn't like me, it's all because my mother died in childbirth, everyone thinks I'm cursed. And maybe they're right. -Erik sat down, choking back tears. This moved the pair of sisters, who hugged him and comforted him: "Don't worry, you can count on us, from today we will be your sisters.

"I'd really like us to be more than that. It would be great if you were both my wives." Erik thought, as he continued to cry, that he too deserved an Oscar for best dramatic actor.
