With the car windows rolled down halfway, Sophie Kenwick could see half of Gary Lakes' face.

A ray of light happened to shine against his face, making him appear unusually sophisticated and fresh.

She scratched her head in a daze before shivering. "I came down in a hurry and forgot."

Gary gallantly removed his coat before wrapping it around her shoulders. "Why were you in a hurry?"

"I didn't want to keep you waiting. After all, you must be a busy man," Sophie shrugged.

Gary let out a laugh. "Even if I am, I'd still have time to come and see you."
