"Ms. Quest, are you willing to marry Mr. Batton, to love him and live with him, in sickness and in health, in poverty or wealth, till death do you part?"

Xyla nodded. "Yes."

With that, the couple exchanged lingering looks and smiled lovingly.

There was a flurry of emotions across her face despite her smile and the tears in her eyes.
