Chapter 1070 Little Bunny's Choice

When Tanya left to ask for a leave of absence from the director, Little Bunny was alone in the dressing room, working herself up. Outside the door, there suddenly came a knocking sound. Little Bunny wiped away her tears and said, "Come in." She thought it was Tanya.

The door to the room opened. A middle-aged man walked in. She didn't know this guy but she felt somewhat familiar with him.

"The photographer for the third machine seat," the man introduced himself, "My name is Louie Poole."

"Do you have something to talk to me about?" She concealed her emotions with a cold face.

"I know about you and Caroline, and I know you're the one who's been wronged!" Louie said bluntly, with a hint of helplessness in his tone.

"There's nothing to feel wronged about." Little Bunny appeared indifferent. It had been clear that no one would come to help her. And she didn't need those hypocritical comforts either.

"I have the video of your conversation with Caroline when you started filming." Louie's mouth curled into an evil smile. "So I know what Caroline said to you."

Little Bunny was a bit hesitant as she heard that. The slap was the source of everything. If there were any video proving that it was Caroline who had asked Little Bunny to slap her face, Little Bunny would be able to set the record straight. With an inner excitement, she restrained himself from showing any outward signs. She could tolerate injustice, but if allowed to clear her name, she would not give up. She asked, "Is the video in your hands?"

"Here," Louie smirked evilly. "Coincidentally, I was auditioning before your filming and without thinking, I recorded your conversation into it." "Can I take a look?"

"Of course," Louie took out his phone and played a clip. There were indeed her and Caroline's figures and their voice had also been recorded. Little Bunny's fingers were trembling slightly as she watched the video. Louie took back his phone and said, "I can give it to you."

"How much money do you want?" asked her. She knew everything was realistic here. There was nothing that could be obtained for free. She was very aware of the survival rules in the entertainment industry. "Money, I don't care about it," Louie said.

Little Bunny watched him warily.

"I've admired you for long. I think you are better than Caroline, your figure, your acting." Louie said with an evil smile on his face, "I think you know what I mean, Miss Little Bunny."

He was asking her for sex, Little Bunny understood that.

Louie handed her a business card and said, "Think about it, I'll be waiting for you tonight. My phone number is on the card."

With that said Louie left without lingering here too long. He didn't want to be discovered and have a negative impact. Besides, he felt confident that Little Bunny wouldn't refuse so there was no need to waste too much time persuading her.

The door closed shut behind him.

Little Bunny stared at the business card in her hand tightly. For a moment, she wanted to agree immediately. All the grievances and injustices caused by Caroline had made her eager for revenge. She desperately wanted Caroline's reputation ruined. However, despite all these years in showbiz, she had never been involved in any scandals or rumours about other men besides Theodore. The door was knocked and opened again suddenly and Little Bunny almost jumped in fright. She quickly clenched the business card tightly in her hand as Tanya walked into the room. "Stord has agreed to your request for leave," Tanya said thoughtfully while trying to figure out why she looked so downcast.

"Did he say anything else?"

"He also mentioned that depending on your news coverage, they may consider whether or not we will continue with this role."

Little Bunny suppressed her emotions and tightened her grip around the business card even more firmly than before as Tanya spoke those words aloud.

Tanya couldn't help but suggest once more, "We could always ask Mr Wold for help if you're feeling overwhelmed by everything going on right now."

At this moment, Little Bunny remembered Theodore again.

If she had to choose between Theodore and Louie...

She found it kind of ironic that just because she wanted nothing more than simply act out scenes as any other actress would do, it seemed like such an impossible task. Together with Tanya, they left their dressing room.

Under the disdainful gaze of the crew members, they finally headed for where Theodore stayed.

What she thought was she should give herself one less thing to worry about since she couldn't get rid of Theodore anyway. But when she got there and saw Theodore being together with Caroline, she found herself a bit simple-minded.

Theodore and Caroline were practising some lines. When Caroline misspoke, Theodore patiently corrected her without getting angry. From their conversation, she could tell what they were doing. It seemed that Caroline was planning to record a video and post it online to defend her. Little Bunny admired Caroline for being both innocent and hideous at the same time. After she posted the video, everyone would think that Caroline was taking the high road while Little Bunny was being ungrateful. However, this seemingly whitewashing video had no meaning for Little Bunny but only helped promote Caroline further. She watched coldly as they turned their heads to see her.

Her phone suddenly rang. Little Bunny quickly silenced her phone, but Theodore and Caroline heard it anyway. Theodore stood up to go after her, but Caroline suggested, "Mr Wold, please finish the video with me before explaining everything to her."

Theodore hesitated for a moment before deciding to let it go for now. He seemed anxious to resolve things sooner rather than later.

Caroline smiled evilly because she wanted Little Bunny to misunderstand that Theodore treated her just as well as he did with her so that she wouldn't dare ask him for help easily anymore. And she wouldn't have to worry about Theodore targeting her because of Little Bunny either.

Little Bunny answered a call after she got out of there.

"All negative news about you has been blocked on social media networks. What have you done?" asked the manager. She hadn't done anything herself but maybe it was thanks to what Caroline did or even more likely what Theodore did. "Did Theodore help you?"

"Maybe," replied Little Bunny nonchalantly.

"Now that you have such a big support behind you, hold onto it tightly and don't keep causing trouble."

She didn't promise anything because deep down inside she knew she couldn't rely on anyone else except herself.
