Revenge On Her Ex After Rebirth -
Chapter 843 A Deal Between Hannah And Lillian
Chapter 843 A Deal Between Hannah and Lillian
Hannah turned to look at Lillian, stunned by her unexpected words.
She knew Lillian would finally compromise. But according to her presumption, it would take a few years at least. Never did she expect Lillian to give in so soon.
What a piece of surprising good news!
But Hannah maintained composure while asking, "How do you make up your mind?"
"I am about to marry Oscar." Said Lillian frankly.
"I know."
Of course, the whole country was going to know the news.
"Before that, I didn't care about your relationship with Oscar. After all, my marriage with him will only base on political purposes. But you're right about that. Even though we reserve no affection for each other, your existence as a mistress of Oscar would be the greatest disrespect against me posed by him. Ever since I was born, I have never suffered such a humiliation."
"Oh really?" Hannah let out an easy smile. But she didn't look quite expectant.
At the same time, Lillian was watching her expression attentively, while she found it hard to tell what was on Hannah's mind from her composed look.
Everyone in Hannah's shoes would replace herself uneasy when there was a sudden change happening to her status. However, as time went by, she might replace herself getting used to it. And that would be something to worry about. From Lillian's perspective, she was afraid that Hannah would change her mind. But of course, Lillian wouldn't be likely to express her sense of worry.
Lillian then continued, "On the day of the wedding, I will help you to get away from his guards and send you abroad."
Silent, Hannah started wondering if it sounded feasible. Undoubtedly, leaving Northfield would be the safest way to get away from Oscar. However, there was the land she had been living in since she was born But still, she nodded, "Okay."
"You only got one chance. If you fail this time, Oscar will be alert. If that happens, you won't be likely to leave this place for the rest of your life." Lillian said to her.
"I am aware of it." Hannah nodded. She knew she had no chance to fail twice.
"Alright, just tell me about your plan." Said Hannah again.
"Oscar will be fully occupied with all kinds of social talks during the wedding. Meanwhile, the wedding ceremony will also be live-streamed nationwide. Thus, whatever happens, he won't leave the venue. Besides, no one will dare to report to him as the ceremony comes first."
Hannah was listening. According to Lillian's description, she could tell how significant the wedding would be.
"Then it will be the best moment for you to run away."
"How am I gonna do it?" asked Hannah.
At that time, there would be a group of guards watching her.
"Don't you remember you are pregnant?" said Lillian while looking at her belly.
She was somehow surprised by the changes happening to Hannah because of the pregnancy. Before that, Lillian once believed that though pregnant, Hannah still looked outstanding even without any extra efforts to make herself look better. But now she shared no difference with those common pregnant ladies except for her prettier face. Now Hannah was no longer as eye-catching as before. Lillian even deemed herself a bit superior because of that. Though she was also pregnant, she still put on simple make-up while wearing a customized outfit to cover up her belly. She didn't even look like a pregnant lady. Just as always, she maintained her greatest nobleness and elegance.
Hannah could feel the way she condescended to her. She could tell what Lillian was thinking. But Hannah got to admit that she looked pretty average at this moment. She even started wishing Oscar would be tired of her someday.
"You can just feign sickness. Then you will be sent to the hospital, while I will have my men waiting in the emergency room. Once you get away from his guards, I will manage to send you out."
Hannah started contemplating her plan. Undoubtedly, except for Oscar, only the Collins possessed the greatest power in Northfield. If Lillian decided to offer a hand, she would be likely to make it. Besides, there was no better alternative than Lillian.
"But what about my parents?"
She had to leave together with her parents in case of Oscar's retaliation. After all, she couldn't tell if Oscar would try something risky when driven by anger. She couldn't afford to face the threat posed by Oscar. "I will take them with you. By the time you reach the hospital, I will send a car to pick them up and drive them to the airport, where you will meet your parents and leave together."
"Lillian, are you worth my trust?" asked Hannah.
To be honest, she didn't know about Lillian well. Thus, she remained sceptical.
"Hannah, except for me, no one dares to offend Oscar. Honestly speaking, I am scared. I can't help wondering what if he knows about that. I can't tell what consequence I am gonna face." Said, Lillian. Hannah responded with silence.
"That's all I can do. I can't convince you to trust me. But that's the only chance I can offer. If you make up your mind, I will do it. If not, I won't force you."
Hannah could tell what she meant.
She was just trying to feel her out. Whatever Lillian's intention would be, she would still accept this offer. Even if she failed, nothing was frightening to worry about. The worst consequence was just that Oscar might start to hate her. In her point of view, she could afford to challenge his bottom line.
Hannan then nodded, "OK, I'll do as you planned."
"The wedding ceremony will be held half a month later. I will have everything prepared. Just get yourself ready to leave." Said, Lillian.
"I see." Hannah nodded.
"Oscar has known about my arrival. And I will tell him that I come here for him. Don't spill the beans."
"Don't worry. He won't even talk to me." Hannah smiled.
There were barely any conversations between her and Oscar. Sometimes he would rather talk to Max. Thus, Oscar would know nothing about it. "Whatever. Just stay alert." Said Lillian.
"I will."
"Alright, I gotta go." Lillian turned around to leave.
Hannah watched her back. Frankly speaking, if there were to be an alternative, she would never work with Lillian. But now, she got no choice but to take the risk.
As soon as Lillian walked away and got into the car, a vicious sneer appeared on her face. Then she made a call to Rowan, "Father, I did it. Hannah fell into the trap."
