Anastasia wasn't one prone to self-deception, so she responded, “Yes.From now on, we shouldn't meet up unless necessary. That would bethe best for both of us. Goodbye.”

After Anastasia said that, she hung up the phone. Subsequently, shedecided to go and pick Jared up.

And so, she hailed a cab to his school and as soon as she entered theschool compound, his teacher exclaimed in surprise, “Oh-you're Jared'smother, right? Why are you here? Jared's father came and picked himup earlier.”
