“Meet me at the parking lot at 1.00 PM sharp.” A man’s magnetic voicerang out before Anastasia replied, “Alright.”

After Elliot hung up the call, Anastasia went speechless as she startedregretting her decision to let Elliot act as Jared's father to join thefamily activities.

Then, he continued driving emotionlessly, and they reached thekindergarten in no time. Just then, there were already many parentsthere, although they had arrived 15 minutes earlier. After glancing ather watch, Anastasia suggested, “Why don't we wait in the car for awhile before entering? Jared is probably still taking his nap right now.”Elliot nodded in agreement before she started using her phone tocheck the latest news to kill time.
