Chapter 125 A Gift

Hendry stuffed the box into her arms and left without even entering the door.

When he left, Kaylah was still in disbelief.

She played with the small box in her hand and hesitated to open

it.

Aryan couldn't stand it. He snatched the box and was about to throw it outside, but Kaylah got it back.

"This is mine. Why are you throwing my thing?"

Aryan paused and almost wanted to rush down to punch Hendry.

Damn it, what the hell was Hendry doing?

"He must be up to no good, so he probably didn't put anything good in it."

Aryan made an excuse. Kaylah had already opened the box.

There was a bracelet inside, and the diamonds on it were bright. It was not cheap.

"Why did he give you the bracelet?" Aryan looked like he was facing a great enemy.

Aryan thought, damn it, Hendry was really scheming.

Does he think that I am the one who gave Kaylah Flower Bracelet? So he sent another more expensive one to attract her attention?

Kaylah raised the diamond bracelet and looked at it carefully. Aryan felt angry when she saw it. He quickly grabbed the bracelet and threw it into the gift box. With a cold face, Aryan said, "Nothing comes for free. Have you heard of this?"

Kaylah rolled her eyes. "I didn't say I would take it. I just wanted to take a look."

"You can't look at it. It's not like you can't design it yourself."

Kaylah had no choice but to put it away and said to Aryan, "I will get someone to send this thing back tomorrow. Is this okay?"

Aryan was satisfied, and they went back to eat.

The original atmosphere was ruined. Aryan's appetite was really affected, so he could

not eat anymore.

"Why did you accept Hendry's gift? Do you still like him?

"Do you think that bracelet looks good? How about I go and buy one for you too? It will be even more expensive than the one Hendry gave you. "Don't tell me you have already forgiven Hendry."

Aryan babbled on.

All sorts of questions popped up one after another. At first, Kaylah would answer perfunctorily, but when he kept asking, Kaylah almost fell out with him.

She put down her fork. "Are you here to eat or to pick a fight? If you don't want to eat, you can leave now."

Aryan shut up.

She was quite bad-tempered.

He didn't dare to ask again. He ate with Kaylah. Then he helped do the dishes and clean

up

the kitchen. After he was done, he lay on the sofa to rest and refused to leave.

Kaylah couldn't drive him away, so she let him be. She went to the study room and concentrated on drawing design drafts.

What Kaylah didn't know was that outside her apartment building, Hendry had been waiting in the car for a long time. Until night fell and his stomach hurt faintly, Aryan. didn't go downstairs, When he thought of Aryan and Kaylah living together, Hendry felt extremely furious. He wanted to rush upstairs right now and kick Aryan out of the warm small apartment.

However, Hendry had already divorced Kaylah and had nothing to do with her now, so he had no right to do so.

This realization made Hendry even unhappier.

Just as he was about to lose his patience, Chad called him.

"You asked me to keep an eye on Ms. Galvan. I found that she seemed to be selling her bags and jewelry. Did she encounter some problem?"

"She only sold her bags and jewelry? How much are they worth?"

"Around So thousand dollars."

"Maybe she just lacks money," Hendry replied. "Don't worry about it. Just keep watching her and don't let her escape to other cities. When the formalities are done, send her away immediately."
