Chapter 133 Hendry Is Tricked

As soon as the auction started, Hendry received a call from his mother.

"Hendry, where are you now?"

Hendry frowned and whispered, "Mom, I have something to do. What's wrong?"

"I... I don't know what's going on. I feel so dizzy now, and I can't breathe. I don't know if it's gas poisoning."

When Hendry heard this, he suddenly stood up.

"What did you say?"

His voice was so loud that it attracted the attention of everyone in the venue.

Even Kaylah and Andy were surprised and swept a few glances at him.

Hendry realized that he had lost his composure and quickly made a gesture of apology. Then, he took his phone and walked out of the venue with a sullen face.

Rayan was confused and quickly followed him.

Rayan asked, "What's wrong? What happened?

"Aren't we going to watch the auction?"

Hendry ignored him and walked out. He asked his mother on the phone, "Are you home now? Call the ambulance first and ask the servants to open the window for ventilation. I'm going home right now!" When Hendry left, everyone withdrew their gazes.

Alondra and Cecilia, who were hiding under the chairs, looked at each other. They stood up and looked at Hendry's back as he left. Then they both revealed gratified smiles.

"I finally tricked him away," Cecilia said.

Looking at Hendry's back as he strode away, Alondra smiled slightly.

Alondra was the one who suggested it, but now she asked hypocritically, "If Hendry replaces out that we joined to deceive him, will he be angry?"

"No. We are helping him get rid of Kaylah. He can't be happier to know that."

"But..."

"Alright. Don't be so fussy. The auction has begun. Let's stick to the plan."

Before Cecilia and Alondra came, they had discussed that if the price of the items was unfavorable, they would help raise the price until it hit their target. This way, they could

earn more.

Alondra nodded after hearing Cecilia say so.

While Cecilia and Alondra were preparing to act, Andy was whispering to Kaylah.

"Hendry seemed to be very nervous just now. Did something happen?"

Kaylah was slightly lost in thought. In fact, she was also worried. She had never seen. Hendry so serious before.

However, when Andy asked, Kaylah came back to her senses.

There was nothing to worry about. Kaylah and Hendry were not families now. They

were strangers.

Even if the Lowery family collapsed, it had nothing to do with Kaylah.

"What can happen? I don't care about him."

Andy fixed her eyes on Kaylah. Just now, she had caught a trace of worry in Kaylah's eyes, but now Kaylah looked calm and indifferent. Andy wondered if she was mistaken.

Andy was confused. Kaylah asked her to focus on the auction, and Andy shifted her attention away.

"By the way, your dowry is good stuff. Are you really not going to take it back?"

"I only want that jade ring," Kaylah said as she shook her head.

Other things were not worth much to her. If they were gone, then so be it. Kaylah did not

feel bad about losing them. She had plenty of these things anyway.

However, she would not let her mother's things fall into the hands of others.

"Alright. If you don't have enough money later, you can ask me for it."

Kaylah sighed at Andy's words. She suddenly felt that Andy and Zion were a good match.
