Chapter 382 Heartless

Coming out of the police station, Aryan grabbed Kaylah's hand.

"Wait here for me. I have something to say to Alondra."

Kaylah nodded. She looked back at the dejected Alondra. Then she glanced at Hendry, who was standing beside Alondra. She sneered and stood a little further away.

After Aryan confirmed that Kaylah could not hear them, the smile on his face disappeared.

"Alondra, I hope what happened today can teach you a lesson. Don't touch anything or anyone that doesn't belong to you."

Aryan glanced at Hendry pointedly.

Hendry was a little embarrassed. He nodded at Aryan and walked towards Kaylah.

While Aryan was talking to Alondra, Hendry walked to Kaylah.

"Kaylah, thank you."

Kaylah heard Hendry's voice and turned to look at him.

"Are you apologizing for Alondra?"

Hendry was silent for a moment.

There was a mocking smile on Kaylah's lips. "Mr. Lowery, don't get me wrong. Although you can speak on Alondra's behalf, I didn't do it for your sake."

"Why..."

"I did it for Aryan's take. I don't want him to have a sister who's in prison. Otherwise, others will laugh at him, right?"

Hendry's face darkened.

"Do you care so much about Aryan?"

"Yes, I do care about him." Kaylah looked Hendry up and down and said, "You knew it long ago. There's no need to keep asking." Hendry pursed his lips and his heart **a beat.

Before Hendry could continue, Aryan taught Alondra a lesson and hurried to Kaylah's side.

"Kaylah, I'm done."

As Aryan came over, Kaylah's expression immediately changed.

Kaylah smiled at Aryan and reached out to hold his arm. She said sweetly, "Let's go."

Aryan was slightly startled. He could hear his heart pound.

Aryan nodded blankly. "Okay, let's go."

Aryan and Kaylah walked away hand in hand in front of Hendry.

Hendry watched helplessly as Kaylah got into Aryan's car and the two left intimately.

Hendry raised his hand and pressed it against his chest. He felt uneasy.

Alondra walked over from behind..

"Hendry, thank you for helping me deal with this matter."

Hendry put his hand down and glanced coldly at Alondra.

"You're welcome," Hendry said. "I didn't do this for you."

Alondra was stunned.

"You're lucky that Kaylah is willing to let you go this time. Don't forget the conditions we agreed on. After you make an apology statement, I will immediately have someone send you abroad." After saying this, Hendry turned around and was about to leave.

Alondra was very sad and shouted, "Hendry!"

Hendry turned around and looked at Alondra.

Tears welled up in Alondra's eyes as she asked in a choked voice, "I did all this for you. Aren't you

touched?"

"For me? Is it for me or yourself? Do you need me to make it clear?" Hendry sneered.

Alondra stopped choking.

"I don't need you to do these things that go against moral standards and conscience for me. Don't think you did a good job. I am not as good as you think. You're totally wrong if you think I will be touched by these things."

Alondra looked at Hendry in disbelief. "Even if you don't like me, you can't say such heartless things to me.'

"I am a heartless person."
