Chapter 663 The Conversation

Aryan nodded and walked to his room tiredly.

But the moment he turned his head, the smile on his face disappeared.

Kaylah did not notice something was wrong with Aryan. She was now thinking about Hendry and Zion upstairs.

Knowing how Zion thought of Hendry, Kaylah was more worried about what they were talking about.

But the atmosphere in the study was not as tense as Kaylah had imagined.

"One doesn't know how to cherish something unless he loses it. I'm afraid that you're the person now!"

Zion was very direct and did not hide the ridicule in his tone.

Hendry obviously did not expect Zion to be so direct, but he quickly regained his composure.

"I know that I did a lot of things I shouldn't have done and hurt Kaylah, but... I won't give up!"

Zion snorted.

"You won't give up? Do you want to hurt her for three more years?" Hendry's face darkened as he heard Zion's words.

He clasped his hands together and pressed his lips.

Seeing Hendry like this, Zion didn't feel soft-hearted and continued to speak.

"Everyone will change. Now you made the promise in front of me, but it's meaningless! After all, everyone knows that you've done nothing in the past three years! But now you came to Kaylah again and again. Don't you think you are funny?"

Zion didn't want Kaylah to get hurt again.

Hendry took a deep breath and forced himself to calm down. He looked straight up at Zion.

"I admit that I made Kaylah suffer these years! But it's because of this that I want to spend the rest of my life making it up to her! I don't know if she will forgive me or not in the end, but this is the only thing I can do now!"

Hendry's voice was low, and a trace of helplessness could be heard if Zion listened carefully.

"It depends on Kaylah whether she'll forgive me or not in the end! I won't force her to do anything, but I hope that I can do my best to make her live happily without any worries!"

The more Hendry spoke, the more determined he became.

Zion lowered his head without showing the look in his eyes.

The room instantly became quiet.

Hendry and Zion used to deal with each other in business, but at that time,

Hendry did not feel that he was at a disadvantage.

However, on such an occasion and with Zion's identity today, Hendry felt a rare sense of failure.

"I know that no matter what I say, you won't believe me, but you can see what I'm going to do next! If I did anything to hurt Kaylah, you could take action immediately, and I would also do whatever you say!" "Humph, if you really made a mistake again, it would be useless no matter what you do!'

Zion's tone was full of threat. He wouldn't allow what had happened three years ago to happen again!
